About this mod

Some Settlement Menu Manager (SMM) patches I've made to tidy up your workshop menu and make it a little easier to find what you are looking for. There are currently patches for 248 mods.

This mod uses Settlement Menu Manager to add some new menus to your settlement workshop for the mods on the list below. Almost all the patches are ESPs flagged as light plugins (ESLs), only two of them (Workshop Rearranged and OCDecorator) are not.

List of Patches

Below is a list of all the mods I have made a patch for and where their new SMM menus will be located when you install my SMM patch for them.

Some of the mods on the list below have different versions you can download (ESP or ESL version, for example). The version(s) I patched for these mods are shown next to them. I usually only patch the ESL version if there is both an ESP and ESL version available - but I did patch both the ESL and ESP version for a few of them.

9 of the 248 mods I've patched edits vanilla menus. These mods can still conflict with other mods that also edit the menus. It is mentioned below if a mod edits a menu. I recommend you place these mods high in your load order so that other mods that edit menus will win the conflict with them.

25 of the 248 mods I've patched already have non-SMM scripted menus. Installing my patches for some of these mods on an existing save where the menus from these mods have already been injected can cause there to be duplicate menus. Uninstalling my patches for these mods later might not bring their old menus back. I added an asterisk (*) next to the names of these mods so you know which ones they are.

My patches for the mods that already have a non-SMM menu will overwrite the non-SMM menu install scripts in their plugins and then replace it with the SMM menu install script instead. My patches will also remove uninstall chems if these mods have them (those aren't needed anymore when using SMM menus).

My mod includes a FOMOD installer that will autodetect which of the mods from the list below that you have installed and enabled. Make sure that all patches are below the mods they patch in your load order. It is not required to download all these mods (you only need at least one of them)

This is a replacer plugin for Workshop Rearranged (WR) (you need to select this one manually in the FOMOD installer).

It will remove many of WR's vanilla edits and add an SMM menu for the new items added by the mod, for better compatibility with other mods. If you like how the mod rearranges the workshop menu (and the other changes it makes) do not install this replacer as it removes many of those edits and it changes menus back to vanilla.

This is a new patch plugin, not a replacer.

USO moves all the vanilla items to its own USO Integrated menu that is added by editing the vanilla Raider menu. In order to remove USO's old menu my patch for this mod makes an edit to the vanilla Raider menu (otherwise there would have been duplicate menus). You can remove these edits with FO4Edit if you want:

Open the unlockedsettlementobjects.esm and my USO SMM.esp, right-click on WorkshopMenu01Raider in their formID lists and then just remove it and save. If you don't remove these edits, I would recommend placing this patch high in your load order.

This patch does not remove USO's vanilla edits but it should ensure that USO's menu will always show up even if there are menu conflicts with other mods you have installed.

  • All of EsmeraldaF's 8 Colourful Commonwealth mods listed below. You need to download them all if you want to use this patch.

  • Athelbras' 8 Settlement Bots mods listed below.

Need at least one of these to use my patch. Make sure the SettlementBots SMM.esp is above the other Bot patches in your load order. Note: You may have to select this patch manually in the FOMOD installer.

WWE edits the vanilla menu. You can load WWE.esp in FO4Edit and remove the edits it makes to the vanilla menu. In the formID list, right-click on the "Structures" at the top and then just remove it and save. The mod also makes changes to some of the vanilla menu icons. You might want to remove those edits too.

My WWE patch is required for the 4 patches listed here to work. They will all be in the same menu. All 4 are optional.

This mod also edits the vanilla menu. You can load WWE_Garage.esp in FO4Edit and remove these edits. In the formID list, right-click on the "Decorations" at the top and then just remove it and save.

There is already an SMM version of the Old World Plaids mod but it has 800 HITMEs (Higher Index Than Masterlist Entries). So I decided to make my own patch for the mod. Either download the main file only or download both the main file and the optional no bed version. I would recommend the main file only because there are some things that are missing (other than the beds) from the no-bed version.

Compatibility

Works with

  • Next-Gen Fallout 4 update (version 1.10.980 and newer)
  • Game version 1.10.163 (the pre-Next-Gen version).

Does not work

  • If you have compacted and changed the FormIDs for the mods I patched before installing my mod.

Probably won't work with the VR (virtual reality) version of Fallout 4. At least one person told me that the game crashed at start-up when playing the VR version of the game with my patches installed. I don't have the VR version of the game myself.

My mod edits the Constructible Objects (COBJ) records from almost all mods I patched. It will conflict with other mods that also edits the COBJs from these mods.
