UPDATE: I know how to navmesh but I naturally assumed workshop items worked automatically. Apologies....

The idea behind this mod is I enjoy sniping from height and the jetpack is good but inside a settlement it's a waste of time.

So I made this very simple deisgn, I've tried to keep the snap points to a bare minimum so it doesn't complicate things. Only the stairs have the snap points, but you can use any of the 3 shapes to make some random designs if you so wish.

The Guard Tower snaps to the stairs only, you don't have to use the base but it's there if you want to. It works better if you use "PLACE ANYWHERE" mod, otherwise use "TCL" in the console for a similar effect (you must turn on then off then on each time you go to place an object).

The BASE is for the ground, the MID Section is for building the height of the tower and the TOP part is to finish the tower altogether.

Find it under "DEFENSE" in Workshop Mode (where the guard tower is).

I've included my "FREE GUARD" mod which allows you to place an almost invisible placemat for a guard to stand. This is so you can design your own guard post and use a guard marker, all without the need of the Creation Kit. 

I've included a Photoshop template, make sure the design uses the Alpha Channel 1 otherwise it won't be transparent. You will also need the Photoshop DDS Free Plugin (just google this) as you must save the image as a DDS file (DirectX).You don't need to use this but I include it just in case.
