About this mod

This is a collection of Settlement Menu Manager (SMM) patches I've made to tidy up your workshop menu and make it a little easier to find what you are looking for. There are currently patches for 225 mods.

This mod uses Settlement Menu Manager to add some new menus to your workshop for the mods listed below (a FOMOD installer is included that will autodetect which of these mods you have installed).

Almost all the patches are ESPs flagged as light plugins (ESLs), only one is not.

Some of the mods I've patched already have their own, non-SMM scripted menus. If you already have these mods installed (and their menus have been injected) it's possible you might end up with duplicate menus if you install my patches for these mods. If you did not already have these mods installed, uninstalling my patches for them later might not always bring the old menus back. I have added an asterisk (*) next to their names so you know which ones they are.

There are also a few of these mods that adds their own menus by editing vanilla menus instead of using scripts. I would recommend that you remove those edits with FO4Edit (my patches can't do it without also editing the menus). It is not required to do this but these mods might conflict with other mods if you don't.

Some mods have different versions you can download (ESP or ESL version, for example). You can see which version(s) I've patched for these mods in the list below (or under the requirements tab). I usually only patch the ESL version if there is both an ESP and ESL version available but I did patch both the ESL and ESP version for a few mods. You can select the version you use for these mods in the FOMOD installer.

Compatibility

Works with

  • Next-Gen Fallout 4 update (version 1.10.980 and newer)
  • Game version 1.10.163 (the pre-Next-Gen version).

Does not work

  • With game versions older than 1.10.163.
  • With Fallout 4 VR.
  • If you have compacted and changed the FormIDs for the mods I patched.

The game might crash on launch, the SMM holotape won't show up in the inventory or chem station, menus won't work, etc, if you use an older
version than 1.10.163 or play Fallout 4 VR.

Some mods do not have an ESL version available for download. My patches for these mods will not work if you have compacted and changed the FormIDs to flag them as ESLs yourself before you installed my mod

USO moves all the vanilla items to its own USO Integrated menu that is added by editing the vanilla Raider menu. In order to remove USO's old menu, my patch for this mod makes an edit to the vanilla Raider menu, otherwise there would have been duplicate menus. If you want, you can remove these edits with FO4Edit.

Open the unlockedsettlementobjects.esm and my USO SMM.esp, right-click on WorkshopMenu01Raider in the FormID list and then just remove it and save.

  • All of EsmeraldaF's 8 Colourful Commonwealth mods listed below. You need to download them all if you want to use this patch.

  • Athelbras' 8 Settlement Bots mods listed below.

Need at least one of these to use my patch. An AIO patch (except the Salvage Bot) is also available. Make sure the SettlementBots SMM.esp is above the other Bot patches in your load order.

WWE edits the vanilla menu. I would recommend that you open WWE.esp in FO4Edit and remove the edits it makes to the vanilla formlist. In the formID list, right-click on the "Structures" at the top and then just remove it and save. The mod also makes changes to some of the vanilla menu icons as well for some reason. You might want to remove those edits too.

My WWE patch is required for the 4 patches listed here to work. They will all be in the same menu. All 4 are optional.

This mod also edits the vanilla formlist. I would recommend that you open WWE_Garage.esp in FO4Edit and remove the edits it makes to the vanilla formlist. In the formID list, right-click on the "Decorations" at the top and then just remove it and save.

There is already an SMM version of the Old World Plaids mod but it has 800 HITMEs (Higher Index Than Masterlist Entries) errors. So I decided to make my own patch for the mod. Either download the main file only or download both the main file and the optional no bed version. I would recommend the main file only as there are some things that are missing (other than the beds) from the no bed version.

In case you prefer the Conveyor Belt Barriers menu to be located in Power > Manufacturing instead of Structures > Metal.

You can open the patch (ConveyorBarriers SMM.esp) with FO4Edit, look under 'Quest', click on 'smm_ConveyorBelt_MenuInstaller', then look under 'TargetMenu' and change the WorkshopMenu01Build02Metal "Building" to WorkshopMenu01Power02Manufacturing "Neon".

But this will only work if you do it before using the patch in your save. If you do it after, the menu will disappear.

I would recommend that you open Grounded.esl in FO4Edit and remove the edits it makes to the vanilla formlist. In the formID list, right-click on the "Building" at the top and then just remove it and save.
