Stardew Valley Expanded is a fanmade expansion for ConcernedApe's Stardew Valley. This mod adds 27 new NPCs, 50 locations, 260 character events, 27 fish, reimagined vanilla areas, two farm maps, a reimagined world map reflecting all changes, new music, questlines, objects, crops, festivals, and many miscellaneous additions!

- SVE's second NPC farmer, Susan, has been added! She appears in-game after players see her intro event after the rockslide is cleared. If players have already experienced the clearing, Susan will introduce herself immediately. The most recent update of Custom NPC Fixes is required for Susan to function correctly.
- Added one new map: "Deep Cave". This map is only for IF2R. The mine cart in the IF2R farm cave will now warp players to this new map instead of the mines. Deep Cave spawns a modest amount of geodes and minerals. Spawns increase as years go by, with more rare minerals.
- Added ten new events: five for Susan, four for Krobus, one for Abigail. These events have been added to the event guide word document (optional download).
- Added 20 new letters! Some of these letters arrive in the mail after specific events are seen. Others will arrive on random days between years 1 and 4. Players with exisiting SVE saves may receive many letters all at once, including letters that are irrelevant.
- All SVE events have been rewritten (over 70!!!). Vanilla characters now act according to their personalities, including but not limited to behavior and how they talk. Event dialogue has improved. Heavily reduced the amount of expressions players showcase during events. Reduced the idle/awkward pauses. Further tweaked all question forks and side events.
- Over 300 locational messages have been rewritten. They're now more direct, concise, and neutral. Formatting on many messages have been fixed/adjusted to look more presentable.
- Victor's, Andy's, and Olivia's daily dialogues have received major polish.
- Added schedule dialogue to vanilla characters when in a "new area". Some of these dialogues change as players befriend them. Example: Alex talks about Dusty when he's in front of him.
- Shearwater Bridge's design has been changed to a large stone bridge.
- Added a lake in the south west corner of Forest West.
- All outdoor SVE locations with bodies of water may now be fished from. Some locations have rare fish. This addition is unfortunately not compatible with Teh's Fishing Overhaul mod. I'm looking into making it compatible.
- Players no longer receive the rusty key from Gunther. Players must now reach the bottom of the mines and have played for at least a full year to obtain the key from Marlon. Gunther gives players a different award.
- Jas's and Vincent's intro sewer event in the forest has been changed to mention Marlon instead of Gunther possessing said key.
- Willy's schedule has been slightly changed. He closes up shop two hours early on Monday to visit the ridge at Blue Moon Vineyard.
- Kent will now gaze at Blue Moon Vineyard on the Adventurer's Guild dock and take hikes up the summit on Mondays and Wednesdays.
- Pierre's schedule has been changed. He does activities in his backyard after closing up shop for the day on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday. He also gazes at the river on the northern town bridge on Tuesday after closing up shop.
- Linus now visits the summit on Monday and Tuesday during fall, and on Monday during winter. He also visits the Adventurer's graveyard during fall.
- Olivia's schedule has received several changes. One change being: She will now talk to Jodi and Caroline at the town plaza during summer, fall, and winter instead of just spring.
- Simplified and streamlined Grampleton Fields installation. Shearwater Bridge no longer needs to be overwritten. The Grampleton Fields TMX folder is all there is to the installation and uninstallation of this massive sandbox map.
- Corrected and added map property Lua warps to the forest, backwoods, and bus stop tbin files. This allows universal custom farm compatibility with SVE.
- Removed the two large boulders on IF2R at the first "water source trough" by the large pink tree. Added due to a request. Only "true" on the start of a new save using IF2R.
- Sebastian's, Gus's, and Dwarf's SVE events have been added to the mature events category.
- Adjusted prices in "certain shops".
- Added various items to "certain shops".
- Removed the event script in the optional download file (I no longer have the time to update this word document).

- Added two new maps: Shearwater Bridge and Grampleton Fields. The location of these maps are east of Pelican Town. Grampleton Fields is the largest map to date and is farmable (optional). It's the perfect map to store a bunch of kegs as well.
- Added a fence replacement for the default fences, matching the static fences throughout the valley. Vanilla, Eemie, and Starblue Valley colors are supported! This is a configurable addition. Default setting is "true".
- Vortex support has been added for SVE! Players may now use Vortex to install SVE. Huge thanks to the Nexus Mods admins!
- Victor's schedule has been changed. He now plays Junimo Kart instead of JotPK in the arcade.
- Gus' schedule on Tuesdays has been changed. He will visit the community garden and community keg area early in the morning during spring, summer, and fall.
- Caroline's schedule has been changed. On the 3rd, 10th, and 17th, when it isn't winter: she will visit the lounge room in the Seed Shop to read, visit the community garden, and visit the park.
- Alex's schedule has been changed. He will now stand in front of Dusty, instead of standing on the other side of the fenced off pet area.
- Clint's schedule has been changed. On Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturday, and Sundays Clint will now do activites in his backyard before opening for the day. On Wednesday and Thursday after the shop closes, he will visit the community garden.
- Marnie's shedule on Mondays has been changed. She will now do activities inside of her shed and attend to her crop field. During winter on Mondays, she will spend most of her day in her shed.
- Lewis' schedule on Thursdays has been changed. He will now visit the community garden, write in his journal in his house, check the community kegs, visit the summit, visit a "certain grave", etc. Thursdays will contain a mix of these activities throughout the year.
- Leah's schedule on Sundays has been changed. She will now visit her garden and the community garden. During the winter, she'll walk up to the summit.
- Added two new events for ??? and ???, taking place in Forest West with a small trigger chance. Year 2+.
- Lewis has received a new event, taking place at the mountain during spring, sunny weather. This event is triggered from 8:00AM to 2:00PM, only during year 1.
- Pierre has received a new event, taking place in Pelican Town during fall. This event is triggered from 12:00PM to 4:00PM, sunny weather, when the player has acheived 8 hearts with him.
- Haley has received a new event, taking place in Pelican Town during spring and summer. Her event is triggered from 10:00AM to 3:00PM, during sunny weather, after acheiving 7 hearts with her.
- Victor has received a new event, taking place at Shearwater Bridge during spring, summer, and fall. This event is triggered between 8:00am to 5:00pm, when the player has reached three hearts with him, during sunny weather.
- Marnie has received a new event, taking place in her small crop field during the summer when the weather is sunny. This event is triggered between 6:00am to 5:00pm, at a 20% trigger chance.
- Marlon has received a new event, taking place at the railroad when raining. This event is triggered after the player has reached level 120 in the mines, at a 30% trigger chance.
- Rasmodius has received a new event, taking place in his tower. This event is triggered after the player has seen the Sprite Spring event.
- Rasmodius has received another new event, taking place at Forest West, when the player has six hearts with him. The event is triggered during sunny weather, from 6:00am to 11:50am. It must be spring or summer.
- The following SVE events have been disabled by default: Haley's 7 heart, Penny's 7 heart, Shane's 7 heart, Jas' 8 heart, Jodi's 10 heart, Kent's 10 heart, and Krobus' 8 heart events. Players must set mature events to "true" in the config to enable the content of these events.
- The "Mature Events" miscellaneous download has been removed as the above change makes this file obsolete.
- Changed some wording in Sebastian's 7 heart event.

- SVE has switched frameworks from Advanced Location Loader to PyTK and TMX Loader. This fixes many aspects of SVE, and is better for the long run.

- Fixed an issue where the SBV map names weren't matching the names in NPC Map Locations, preventing the SBV mini map from loading.
- Changed an interactable "area" on a certain "map". There was an issue where players couldn't equip certain "things" after a certain "action". New "things" are now available in place of the old "things".
- Fixed a graphical glitch with the petbowl on IF2R. There were little "green pixels" to the right of the petbowl. These have been removed.

- Karmylla now has the SVE Pelican Town map and town festival maps in her "SVE" download on her mod page. This will prevent some installation issues many players are experiencing.
- Added back Dynamic Tokens to IF2R. Greenhouse Tilesheets no longer have to be manually placed to change the greenhouse and recolors for IF2R. Players must remove the custom "extras" tilesheets (not z_extras) from their IF2R assets folder for this to take effect.
- Added more areas to plant fruit trees in the IF2R greenhouse. Players may now also refill their watering can using the water troughs in the building.
- Minecart in the IF2R farm cave is now functional. It will now transport players directly to the mines, but not vice versa.
- The HMTGF statue can now be found in Pelican Town. It's not in the same area it used to be! Players will need to explore to find it!

- Added a new event for Sandy. This event takes place in the desert after the player has reached five hearts with her. The event triggers between 12:00AM ~ 2:00AM.
- Edited Demetrius' "cave" event for IF2R. He will now give the player the correct location of the cave instead of saying it's off to the west.
- Fixed an issue on IF2R where the "big tree" to the right of the "water cave" would be cut in half. This was due to the original greenhouse overlapping the "front" layer.
- Fixed an issue where the Starblue Valley XNB files were present as the default [ALL] tilesheets.

- Changed Summit Reborn's file name so it overwrites during a drag and drop into the mod directory. Players MUST remove "Summit_Reborn" from their mods folder. If players don't do this, the railroad and summit maps will not load because Content Patcher is attempting to patch the same map twice. Download "Summit Reborn", then download V1.0.10.
- Added another optional download called "No Mature Events". This custom Content Json excludes 9 events that involve subjects in the "disclaimers" on the descriptions page. Added due to requests.
- Removed a couple static trees on the Mountain map due to requests. These trees blocked Sebastian from view during one of his schedules.
- Changed a couple locational dialogues that weren't "SDV enough" due to requests.

- Reverted back many changes in the addition of dynamic tokens as these were breaking the Greenhouse and Farm map. You must now manually replace the IF2R tilesheets when the Greenhouse is fixed and for IF2R map recolors. Greenhouse has also reverted back to being "accessible" even though it isn't repaired.
- Changed the grass area around the dog house on IF2R to the normal tilesheets to avoid recolor conflicts and issues many players were experiencing due to installation confusion.

The world of Stardew Valley is awe-inspiring. Relationships, farming, fishing, adventuring...All made by just one person, who has given us the gift of so many memories with this game. But the problem with memories is that we'll never experience that world for the first time again.
I aim to give you, the player, that sense of adventure and unknown once more. Through this mod, I want to immerse you in the world ConcernedApe created.

Stardew Valley Expanded (SVE) stays as true to the source material as it can- from new areas and expanded dialogue and events, to the portraits for a brand new set of characters. My goal, as a modder hobbyist, is this: "Give the player the magical feeling they had when they first played Stardew Valley". To experience that magic as ConcernedApe intended, I recommend playing through vanilla Stardew Valley before jumping into SVE’s expanded world. For players who have already played Stardew Valley: think back to when you first walked into the Secret Woods, completed an elaborate quest, experienced Shane’s six heart event, or met Abigail for the first time. Stardew Valley is full of those inspired moments that enchant you and draw you into its world. By taking that world and expanding it, I hope to create more of those moments, so you can always find something new when you make your way back to the valley. Starting a new save file is required!

SVE adds 50 new locations. Some areas must be unlocked through progression and quests. The Stardew Valley Expanded Wiki has more information on some of the new areas.

All maps - vanilla and new, interior and exterior - are now filled with location messages for you to discover and experience. There are over 900 throughout the world!

A configuration file is generated within the [CP] Stardew Valley Expanded, [CP] Immersive Farm 2 Remastered, and [CP] Grandpa's Farm folders when the game is run at least once. Configurations can be toggled at will on already existing saves. The spoiler tab has detailed information on all possible configurations. Players can change the way they wish to experience their SVE play throughs!

Stardew Valley Expanded is compatible with other expansions such as Ridgeside Village, East Scarp, Downtown Zuzu City, Boarding House, and Mineral Town! Generally speaking, SVE is compatible with the vast majority of other mods.
