Tired of looking at wall baskets and horker trophies and empty walls  ?

The paintings themes do not break lore and shatter your immersion. The image section has everything.

Select a preferred version from each installer

Paintings for the College of Winterhold - An embarrassingly luxuriously rich collection for the College of Winterhold

Paintings for the Temple of Mara -  an abundance of floral paintings

Paintings for the Dark Brotherhood - Dawnstar Sanctuary - dark themed - buy the sanctuary decorations for them to appear

Paintings for Cities - mostly maritime and pastoral paintings
Spoiler:
Show

COTN no Morthal - a merge without Morthal if you use another interior for Morthal
COTN no Winterhold - a merge without Winterhold if you use another interior for Morthal
or just pick the files individually
Cities of the North - Dawnstar
Cities of the North - Falkreath
Cities of the North - Morthal
Cities of the North - Winterhold
Redbag´s city overhauls Morthal and Falkreath do not need a patch, so use the vanilla version
tip example to combine: use the vanilla version and a standalone cotn  (the standalone cotn files have different names so they won´t overwrite a vanilla merge)

Paintings for Jorrvaskr - portraits and moonlite landscape scenery

Paintings for the Temple of Dibella
Spoiler:
Show

Distinct Interiors . If you use Distinct interiors use the vanilla version. If you use the combo mod JK Distinct Temple of Dibella use the JK version

Paintings for the Thieves Guild - progression with Thieves Guild quest = paintings
Spoiler:
Show

Paintings for the Palace of the Kings

Paintings for Dragonsreach
Spoiler:
Show

Paintings for Mistveil Keep

Paintings for the Player Homes - buy the house decorations to get the paintings

Paintings for the Blue Palace - frescoes and paintings
Spoiler:
Show

to note: in my review of this mod I decided not to part ways with the Bosch paintings, although not a blatant break to your immersion - this is the only one like this and I thought to leave the notice here. Check the images.
Should be compatible by default with extravagant solitude mod
2 frescoes in the upper floor may or may not show up (they are not shown in the image section) because of native occlusion issues. I did not test this with occlusion mods. Maybe you know more about it.
Keep in mind some of these mods require a new game and/or unvisited Blue Palace.

Paintings for the Bards College

Paintings for inns

This module is different from the others.
Paintings for cities module complements this module. The city inns have town mod overhauls which remain apart from this and are not included here. This is separate to make organization and patching easier and tidier.

There are many mods that alter these interiors, so here you have a main version, esp file, which is vanilla, then you have patches for the many different interior mods and for each location. Optionally, you can choose from a merge patch, such as one for JK, HS, Distinct interiors, etc. This gives you the user the flexibility to mod as you please for each location

Same as the inns module. There is a main esp file which is a vanilla version, then you have patches for the different interior mods. This is separate from the inns to make it easier and tidier for me to upload and maintain this due to the huge number of mod patches availbale for each from different sources.

The files do not take a slot in the load order. Load before interior lighting mods like Lux and location related patches.
    Load order example
    • Obscure´s CW, Immersive College Winterhold, Magical College of Winterhold - a mod that alters an interior or none if you do not use mods
    • This mod <----
    • Every and any type of patches - alternate start - other mods - interior lighting mods
    -----

    Compatibility
Snazzy furniture mod and the paintings it adds - not compatible with the paintings it adds, they will likely share the same wall spaces here and there. Same for Art Imports mod.

    -----
All of the paintings names and artists are in the names of the texture files. To view them extract the textures-bsa file with a bsa extraction tool.
Or use the more informative console mod to click on the object in game and view its texture name real-time.

All the images-paintings are public domain, you can find them easily with google´s image search. Avoided images under creative commons licence so they are not used at all. Some sites I used with the open sources are wikidata, wikiorg and usuem.org. Most if not all are from the wiki commons which is exclusively public domain, and with no tags or licenses associated to the files. Also, from where they are  photograph based "The official position taken by the Wikimedia Foundation is that faithful reproductions of two-dimensional public domain works of art are public domain."  In any case, these include neighbouring rights if fotographs with licenses are used, which are not, and also that authors from these works of art died at least 70 or 100 years ago, when some of these licenses (again) evoke it. Curiosity: The years of covid changed and opened a lot.
