1.5.5 Minor Update
Small update to provide more detail in the descriptions of config options and also to update the Content Patcher format to 2.0 to get rid of the out-of-date warning in SDV 1.6.

1.5 Update (Compatibility Pt 3)
Been a while since the last major update, but with the release of Welcome to Mineral Town, it felt like a good time.
So, this update provides support for the following mods:
 - Welcome to Mineral Town
 - Durin's Rest
 - Lavril (Meant to add this a long time ago. Whoops!)
 - Lucikiel
 - Wilford
 - Sable

In addition, the optimization option has been greatly expanded. I still consider it experimental, as I don't test it as much as I should, but I think it's working as intended. If you are installing mid-save, I would highly recommend it, and ask that you let me know if you encounter any issues.

Other than that, no big changes this time around, just a bunch of new supported Villagers. Enjoy!

Warning for installing mid-save
Installing mid-save, particularly with many villagers already befriended, will result in a large number of messages appearing when you enter the farm for the first time. To partially avoid this, you can turn messages off in the config. The screen will fade to black repeatedly as it goes through the bonuses, but you won't have to click through each message. There is an experimental config option (Optimization) which should reduce this somewhat, but results will vary greatly for each user.

Description
Somewhat inspired by My Time in Portia, this mod makes it so your friendship level with villagers will increase (or, in rare cases, decrease) when you befriend their friends and family. For instance, befriending Emily will improve your friendship with Haley and Sandy. This effect will occur every two hearts upon entering the farm in the morning. A short message will appear informing you of the increase. This will work retroactively with existing saves, just bear in mind that depending on how many villagers you befriended, you may have to go through quite a few messages.

Also, keep in mind that bonuses to friendship will not be applied to villagers you haven't met. For example, befriending Emily will only improve your friendship with Sandy if you've met Sandy.

Difficulties
There are currently three difficulty settings available in the config.
 - Easy mode contains consistent bonuses applied for every two hearts gained.
 - Normal mode gives scaling bonuses every two hearts, with lower numbers of hearts giving weaker bonuses, while higher numbers give larger bonuses.
 - Hard mode functions similarly to normal mode, but with weaker bonuses.

A note on difficulty: Chain reactions can certainly occur with this mod, and now that compatibility for additional villagers is being added, I feel it's worth mentioning that the more villagers are in your game, and thus the more connections, the easier this mod becomes. For that reason, I recommend switching to normal or hard if you have a large amount of compatible modded villagers in your game.

There are also four different difficulty settings for the Resentment feature, explained below.

Resentment (formerly Jealousy)
In rare cases, a villager will become jealous or resentful as you befriend someone, thus decreasing your friendship. For instance, reaching 10+ hearts with Emily will hurt your friendship with Clint.

This feature has four modes available in the config.
 - Easy is forgiving. Some feelings may be hurt, but any damage to your relationship can be swiftly repaired if you put in the effort. (This is the default setting)
 - Hard is more punishing. In some cases, it may take weeks or even months to repair a relationship after their heart has been broken.
 - Disable is what it sounds like. Villagers may not like you putting the moves on their crush or significant other, but they won't really be bothered by it.
 - ProPoly. It's... whatever year it is in Stardew Valley. What happens between consenting adults shouldn't be judged. In fact, with this setting, villagers will actually be happy to see you developing a romantic relationship with their crush or significant other. Their children will also be understanding and happy to have an additional parent around.

Note: This mod does not actually give the ability to romance any villagers that you wouldn't normally be able to romance, meaning this feature will affect very few relationships without additional mods.

As noted in the Difficulties section, the more compatible modded villagers your game contains, the easier this mod becomes. For more info, please refer to the note in the Difficulties section.

Adult vanilla villagers have support for up to 14 hearts, and will thus work with any mods that make a villager marriable (their spouse, or ex-spouse, as the case may be, may not appreciate this, if they have one).

Note about Event Limiter: While technically compatible, I would not recommend it as the bonuses awarded in my mod are awarded through very short events.

Feedback
I would love any feedback, positive or negative. This is my first published mod for Stardew Valley, and I know I have plenty to learn.

Recommendations
Socializing Skill (Note: The Smooth Talker profession DOES affect Friend of a Friend. For this reason, I HIGHLY encourage turning Friend of a Friend's difficulty to normal or hard if you intend to use that profession. Alternatively, you can also change the config options for Socializing Skill)
Part of the Community
(I would recommend that you disable the 'Umoja Bonus 2' in PotC's config, as it partially overlaps with this mod, but the two aren't
incompatible in any way that I'm aware of)
