Skyrim Special Edition

About this mod

A place to stick my patches which I don't have enough for a given mod to warrant a separate page, or I have not explicitly heard back from a parent mod author

Requirements
Permissions and credits
Changelogs
Once upon a time, there was a mod author who decided not to write a story for his description this time around.

Here's a place for me to stick my stuff which doesn't have a better page, or doesn't have open permissions. Believe it or not, any patches on any one of my other collections either:

  • Is for mods which have open permissions
  • Is for mods which the author has given me a greenlight (for one of their mods, in some capacity, in the past. Not gonna bother someone to ask if I can patch their mod for Mod Y when they already gave me the thumbs up for Mod X)
  • Is a straight CR (forwards two orthogonal changes)
  • Is only on shared resources (read: landscape or navmesh)
  • Are provided to me by someone else with the belief that they've done said due diligence themselves (which I realize may not be the case, but I'm also not going to chase down every mod author out there to verify)

This is theoretically a higher threshold (but one I consider to be the best) than what's required by Nexus - everything has masters set, and it technically can't cover for mod authors who have moved on to greener games pastures, which unfortunately can leave some stuff out there floating wherever. So for this page I'll loosen things slightly to allow those cases. That being said, a lot of folks explicitly made the decision to move their development off of Nexus, and I will be respecting that decision by not uploading any patches for those ones on Nexus, either.

A few of these are by other folks (ra2phoenix, Sovn, Minerva) and they deserve full credit, but they don't want to deal with the notifications from others, so they told me to go ahead and upload :D

This is also not nearly as many as there could be but I got lazy as shit before and started manually editing my bashed patch and stuff to just handle those cases.

WITHOUT FURTHER ADO:

3DNPC - Vigilant - CR on one cell settings, forward Update.esm navmesh change over Vigilant (but then re-tie the door into it) so some 3DNPC stuff is still accessible, but mostly moves some objects, updates a quest and note to reflect these changes, and the objects were placed inside a destroyed building which Vigilant covers up with a functional building.  3DNPC version: 4.4, Vigilant version: 1.6.2

3DNPC - MAS - Cleaning up navmesh from a direct conflict, a few CR on cell settings. I also cleaned up a landscape seam and a bit of object clipping that seems unrelated to 3DNPC itself, as opposed to Dawnguard.esm, so maaaaaaybe revisit this later as a potential unofficial patch to go through everything, but didn't feel like tackling that right this second. 3DNPC version: 4.4, Moon and Star version 3.2

Blackthorn ESP replacer - Will not work without the original mod. Mostly providing this one as a PSA - while I love this original mod, there's some weird stuff with navmesh which can invisibly mess with your game - check the images tab. Inexplicably, there's a variety of cells in the wilderness which this is including the vanilla cell navmesh, but with edge markers removed, preventing NPCs from moving from cell to cell. This occurs in a number of cells, roughly from where Blackthorn is out to Ivarstead. I first noticed this while working on TGVoI. The replacer here is QAC'd, manually edited to remove the aforementioned navmesh things, and the ESM-ified with persistent flags being put to any NPCs (because THAT'S HOW I ROLL). Any other edits (forwarding Update.esm changes, etc) you have to manually take care of - this isn't intending to edit the original mod in any way other than to remove what appears to be some inadvertent stray edits which can't as easily be removed with a patch because ~navmesh~. Also ESM flagged for people running dyndolod/concerned about their reference limit. Blackthorn version 1.1

Blackthorn - Kaidan 2 - Perhaps one of the most requested patches on those respective mods? Kaidan sets a wedding ceremony in the forest which ends up being smack dab in the middle of Blackthorn. The two both adjust landscape so you end up with chaos and seams and navmesh conflicts and tigers and bears (oh my!). This takes Kaidan's wedding ceremony and moves it across the river to another spot close by, that has no conflict. I've got it on good authority from someone intimately familiar with the questline that it works like a charm! They even said they might like it better than the original spot, so there's also a version of this patch without the Blackthorn dependency. Blackthorn version 1.1, Kaidan version 2.1.1

Cheesemod - ELFX - CR on things which are touched by both (mostly mist, which probably are stray edits by cheesemod but SHHHHH), and also on cell settings. A few other extraneous USSEP things forwarded without needing the master. Cheesemod version 1.01. ELFX version 3.06

Cheesemod - SFCO - CR on literally one thing, and then all the cell settings just because. Cheesemod version 1.01, SFCO version 1.73

COTN Morthal - Hoth - Shifts spawn point of Hoth to be within the inn walls. COTN Morthal version 1.1, Hoth version 3.2

Fall of the Space Core - Vigilant - LET'S SWING FOR THE FENCES WITH WEIRD SHIT. You have to download this from steam workshop and bring it over yourself. Also it'll be form 43, gotta fix that yourself. Vigilant sticks a new farmhouse over the destroyed one the space core falls in. This moves the new one next to the old one. It makes no sense, but you're installing a fucking patch for a mod for another game which involves a module for an evil artificial intelligence falling from the sky into magic dragon world. Deal with it. Vigilant version: 1.6.2

Hammet's Dungeon Pack - 3DNPC - Resolves a navmesh conflict between added dungeons that share a cell. 3DNPC version: 4.4, Hammet version 2.03 and 2.04 (different plugins)

Hammet's Dungeon Pack - Helarchen Creek- Resolves a navmesh conflict between added dungeon and a town in a bordering cell. Helarchen Creek version: 2.0.7, Hammet version 2.03 and 2.04 (different plugins). Patch provided by Cecell

Hammet's Dungeon Pack - Lucien - Resolves a navmesh conflict between added dungeons that share a cell. Hammet version 2.03 and 2.04 (different plugins), Lucien version 1.6.3. Tbh, kinda needs more navmesh work up around the Hammet Dungeon, but for now it's keeping what the parent mod had.

Hammet's Dungeon Pack - Tools of Kagrenak - Resolves a navmesh conflict between added dungeons that share a cell, disables a few references that block entry to one area. Kept the TOK Location setting for the cell, as the EZ is slightly higher (level 13 instead of 10). Hammet version 2.03 and 2.04 (different plugins), ToK version 1.58b

IFD - Amulets - I actually provided this with all my other IFD patches that made it into the FOMOD, but Grantyboy050 looks to have missed it? So here it is as a side place. Moves the amulets to their corresponding spot in the new layout. Note: Haven't checked this since like...IFD released. IFD version 1.0, Amulets version 4.061

IFD - Animated Armory - Shifts a couple objects to match new interior. Immersive Fort Dawnguard version 1.2, AA version 2.3

IFD - Cloaks - I actually provided this with all my other IFD patches that made it into the FOMOD, but Grantyboy050 hit some errors with it so it wasn't included. So here it is as a side place, and I've fixed it now! (I somehow had a version of Cloaks.esp which also included the Dawnguard cloaks? Not sure what's going on with that). Moves the cloaks to their corresponding spot in the new layout. Note: Haven't checked this since like...IFD released. IFD version 1.0, Cloaks version 1.2.1

IFD - Embers XD - Same patch as originally provided for the IFD FOMOD, but for Embers XD.esp instead now, since that one didn't actually....you know....exist. Note that I didn't do any extra checking to make sure everything is perfect because IFD hadn't changed, but....yeah. Immersive Fort Dawnguard version 1.2, Embers XD version 2.4.6

JKs Radiant Raiment - Treasure Hunters Garb - Shifts the chest which this armor appears in to not conflict with stuff in the Raident Raiment. JK's version 1.0, Treasure Hunter version 1.3

JKs Skyrim - Pets - Creation club patch. Patch used to be bundled with LOTD but wasn't exactly LOTD related. Made by Jelidity. Shifts some goat markers, stockades, collision markers, and such, CR on landscape.Used to be named DBM_CC_PetsJKSSynergyPatch.esp, but otherwise identical to the previous version. JK's Skyrim version 1.7

Khajiit Will Follow - Royal Armory - Resizes the chest added by Khajiit Will Follow so it fits properly under the display case added by Royal Armory. KWF version 4.6.1, Royal Armory version 2.2

Legacy of the Dragonborn - Cheesemod MCM Patch - NOT AN OFFICIAL OR ENDORSED PATCH. Also I intend to revisit this and make something using MCM Helper which doesn't involve LOTD at some point, but EH. I have this thing right now so why not. But seriously, this works mostly by accident and happenstance, and while it doesn't add to the display count it also sticks the MCM into the display area which is Not Correct™ insofar as LOTD is concerned, so this is absolutely 100% not supported by them, Auryen Does Not Approve. (But it works). It's such a pain in the butt to know which ones you're missing when you're trying to get every cheese. This literally only works by accident because there's only 1 of every cheese display, so the same concept will not apply to the other safehouse displays. Sorry! Cheesemod version 1.01, LOTD version 5.5.4.

Legacy of the Dragonborn - The Curator's Companion - Cheesemod patch - NOT AN OFFICIAL OR ENDORSED PATCH. I don't plan on revisiting this one, it will never actually work correctly. But if you craft a token and stick it in the box you drop all your cheese into, it treats that as your backpack and any cheeses you have displayed will show as "being carried" albeit not "on display." Which is good enough for us pack-rats. Once more, this is Not Correct™ insofar as LOTD is concerned, so this is absolutely 100% not supported by them, Auryen Does Not Approve. (But it works. Kinda). Cheesemod version 1.01, TCC version 6+

Man those Borders Reborn - Granite Hill - Forwards navmesh from Man those Borders to prevent conflict. Man Those Borders Reborn version 1.02, Granite Hill version 4.15

Man Those Borders Reborn landscape fix - Fixes an open landscape seam on the way to Markarth in two areas on one cell. Man Those Borders Reborn version 1.02

Obscure's College of Winterhold - Cheesemod - CR between the two, and shifting some placed cheeses to match the new interior. Cheesemod version 1.01, OCW version 1.6.1

Obscure's College of Winterhold - 3DNPC - Update to patch provided with OCW. It disables a bench that is used as a sandbox marker by an NPC. This changes the reference to be an x-marker, and re-enables it so the NPC will still sandbox near what used to be the bench. 3DNPC version: 4.4, OCW version 1.6.1

Obscure's College of Winterhold - Exotic Arrows Creation Club Patch. Shifts a spellbook and a note to match new Arcanum layout. OCW version 1.6.1

Obscure's College of Winterhold - Wild Horses Creation Club Patch. Shifts a note to match new Arcanum layout. OCW version 1.6.1

PCE - Undeath - Connects the added Undeath stuff in to PCE's Castle Dour, connects in navmesh. Thankfully, the place the Undeath stuff plugged in is a section of Castle Dour which is basically unchanged in PCE, so very little change was necessary :) PCE version 2.3, Undeath version 1.7

Project AHO - 3DNPC - Combines navmesh changes between the two where there's a conflict, one CR on cell settings. 3DNPC version: 4.4, Project AHO version 2

Project AHO - EasierRider's Dungeon Pack - Resolves navmesh conflict so both dungeons are accessible. Project AHO version 2, EasierRider version 1.5

SFCO - Morrowloot Misc - CR on a single display case to have SFCO's look and Morrowloot's lock difficulty. SFCO version 1.73, MLM version 1.3

Septimus Signus Outlook Overhaul - BGCollection - Shifts a placed object to not clip with other objects in Signus Cave. Signus version 1, BGCollection version SE1

Septimus Signus Outlook Overhaul - LOTD - Shifts three objects in Signus's cave to not clip with items from Signus' Cave Overhaul. LOTD version 5.5.4, Signus version 1

Skyrim Sewers - Skyrim Reborn Whiterun Hold - Hooks Skyrim Sewers into the navmesh outside Whiterun in the Skyrim Reborn combo pack. Sewers version 4.15, Skyrim Reborn version 1.1.6

Skyrim Sewers - The Brotherhood of Old - CR on a couple things, tying together navmesh in Markarth Warrens. Sewers version 4.15, TBoO version 1.1.1

Skyrim Underground - Greater Skaal Village - Ties the Underground trapdoor into the Skaal Village navmesh in the Greathall. Skyrim Underground version 4.6.1, Greaters Skaal Village version 1.02

Skyrim Underground - Immersive Citizens - Resolves conflicts on a NUMBER of navmeshes. Based off of ICAIO version .4. Started with ICAIO's navmesh in all cases and built to match Skyrim Underground changes. Very, very few other changes needed aside from navmesh. Skyrim Underground version 4.6.1,

Skyrim Underground - Skyrim Sewers - Ties together navmesh/changes in multiple cells throughout the world. Only really one area that needed special editing because both decided to put their respective doors in literally the same location (which was kinda hilarious as it ended up with a ladder going through a floating trapdoor). Sewers version 4.15, Skyrim Underground version 4.6.1

Skyrim Underground - TBoO - Ties together navmesh in the Riften Ratway to connect to both. TBoO version 1.1.1, Skyrim Underground version 4.6.1

Skyrim Underground - Skyrim Sewers - TBoO - Because why not. Combines both the above patches. Sewers version 4.15, TBoO version 1.1.1, Skyrim Underground version 4.6.1.

Better Tel Mithryn - ELFX - Tweaks the ELFX light placement to better match the overhaul of Tel Mithryn. ELFX version 3.06, Better Tel Mithryn version 1.00

Vigilant - Man Those Borders Reborn - navmesh fix/conflict resolution. Only navmesh edited. Vigilant version: 1.6.2, Man Those Borders Reborn version 1.02

Vokrii - Preserver - Patch that adds the Preserver perk from Ordinator to the Vokrii tree because damnit I didn't want to play without that perk. Vokrii version 3.6

Vokrii - Simply Knock - Adds an extra condition to the knocking situation dealing with the lockmaster perk which appears to make them behave in the expected manner together. Vokrii version 3.6, Simply Knock version 1.0.3

Windhelm Docks Pathways - 3DNPC - Navmesh conflict resolution. 3DNPC has a quest which adds a ship, which needs to be navmeshed, and it and Windhelm Docks conflict in their navmesh pretty badly which would result in NPCs being unable to navigate outdoors during that quest because WDP isn't an ESM and would override it. 3DNPC version: 4.4, Windhelm Docks Pathways version 1.32

Immersion Patches

Giving this thing it's own section. Kriana had a great idea with her Legacy of the Dragonborn Artifact Immersion Patch Collection. Toss her a kudos! I'd been asked to look into this for JK's stuff already (they'll be in the next interiors update) buuuuuuut I'm a masochist and checked everything.

These are obviously, by no means recommended depending on your play style. If, however, you like "one of a kind" items in-game to be...well....one of a kind, this fixes that for a lot of stuff.

Brhuce Hammar - Creates alternative copy of Elder Council Amulet, swaps type

Swaps Firebrand Wine for Spiced Wine, Stros M'Kai Rum for Alto Wine, Aretino Family Heirloom for a silver plate, and double distilled skooma for skooma

Vominheim - Remove Firebrand Wine from levelled lists; Firebrand Wine -> Wine

Vuldur - Honed Ancient Nord Greatsword of Scorching -> Honed Ancient Nord Greatsword of Burning

Installation
Use a mod manager/organizer to install, or drop the loose files into your Skyrim data folder. Patches should have their appropriate masters set, and should be loaded after any mods which they are patching. Some of the fixes in question are on persistent objects, and may require a new save.

Compatibility
I have no idea. I mean, most of them shouldn't have problems, but if you've got something else that touches navmesh, there's always potential for problems.
