About this mod

The Minutemen are supposed to be the best alternative for rebuilding the Commonwealth because : More settlements = More resources = Better materials = Better fire power and a larger presence in all the Commonwealth. But currently this is not the case and this mod attempts to fix this problem.

Quests

Main Minutemen quests
- Preston will not ask you to retake the Castle before you reached the player level 20. Once you have reached level 20, finish a Minutemen radiant quest by talking to Preston and the retake the Castle quest should appear.
- A cool down of 24 hours has been added to the Preston dialogue: "Do you think we're ready to retake the Castle?". So, players will always have the opportunity to talk, dismiss, hire, exchange with Preston or finish an ongoing radiant quests or start a new one.

Radiant Minutemen quests
- The % chance of a Minuteman radiant quest start has been reduced
- The maximum of simultaneous quests Preston will give you has been reduced to 1 instead of 3
- A cool down period for each Minuteman radiant quests has been added (96h in-game instead of 0) for prevent the exact same quest to restart as soon as it's over and force the game to diversify the quests it gives you.

Flaregun quest
- Flaregun range has been increased.
- Minutemen called by flaregun will now follow you for a while than go back to their duties.
- They will follow you inside building and in fast travel.
- The only exception is if the squad leader die, in that case, they will act as vanilla.

Random Minutemen Patrols quest
- The chance to see a Minutemen patrol around your settlements has been greatly increased.


Faction progression

Level
- Minutemen levels are now proportionate to player level.
- After a while, you will see Veteran and power armored Minutemen appear within the ranks.
- Every Minutemen will still have a lesser level than you.

Weapons
- Minutemen weapons pool have been diversified.
- More they will progress and more powerful weapons they will use.

Outfits
- More the faction will progress and more each Minuteman will wear Minutemen outfits
- At the beginning of the game they will be as vanilla and the end they will all wear Minutemen Outfits.
- Any combat armors can receive Minutemen paintjob.
- Player can use the chemistry station for craft Minutemen outfits, but it require their vanilla version
(for example you will need a bandana for craft a Minutemen bandana)
- New Minutemen variant of the defaut companions outfits can be created, unlockable in "Command Table" when they become available as follower
(right now only Piper and MacCready)


Diversity
- Minutemen have more differents faces.
- Use more differents gears (bandanas, glasses, gloves, bags...)



Faction Management

Command Table
- Once the quest "Taking Independence" is done, the player can, via the special menu in the Workshop to create a "Command Table".
- The "Command Table" is a type of workbench, allows the player to:
1. Create Minutemen settlers called Local Minutemen (don't forget to sent them via the "move" command to your settlement)
2. Create Minutemen Veteran settlers called Local Minutemen Veteran(level 30 is required and "Old guns" completed)
3. Minutemen squad for keep endgame checkpoints (the ones appearing after you beaten the main quest)
4. Craft Minutemen outfits without restriction.

Minutemen Followers
- Players can, but only at the Castle, create via the special menu in the Workshop (the same place as the artillery) :
1. Minutemen follower (level 30 is required and "Taking Independance" completed)
2. Veteran Minutemen follower (level 40 is required and "Old guns" completed)
3. Power Armored Minutemen follower (level 50 is required and "Old guns" completed)
NOTE : Minutemen Followers who will follow you everywhere until they die or the player "stores" them or "recycles" them.

Minutemen Settlers
- As stated, with the" "Command Table" the Player can create Minutemen settlers called "Local Minutemen"
- When a player crafts Minutemen using the new "Command Table" feature, the Minutemen will appear in your inventory.
- Discard them (like an ordinary item) and they will appear in game for duty.
- The game mechanics don't take them into account immediately, thus before you can give them orders the player must either:
1. Make a quick save and then immediately load that quick save
2. OR leave the settlement where you created the new Minutemen by fast travel or move a long way away from the settlement and after leaving the settlement by either method return to the settlement.
NOTE : Minutemen in your inventory will disapear if you make a save and load, so once you created them, discard them. Don't forget to assign them to a settlement.

Minutemen workshop objects
- Minutemen tank (+15 defense)
- Minutemen vertibird (+15 defense)
- Minutemen APC (+10 defense)
- Minutemen flag (+2 defense)
- Minutemen barricade (+2 defense)
