WHITERUN DEAL: > There is only one base mod version now > OCS version is gone in light of a OCS patch child of one Main DEAL.esp moving contents to Tamriel space > Due to OCS & SREC existing, its easier to edit one Base mod and forward those changes (if need be) into separate plugins, open world support patches > File-path all open-source MA textures back to same file-path original textures originated from > Model optimizations > Few plugin record edits > Lilypad Colorizer button has been moved onto the base which the Dragon Carving totem seats (right-side) when ascending main stairs > All the sub-divided models have been redone and used better base model to rework from > All collisions for models have been redone fixing some gaps, correcting chunk materials plus some > Deducted many of the previous sub-divided models which where not exclusively needed per this mod
NEW PATCHES: > Open Cities Skyrim > SR Exterior Cities Series support (ESL/ESM Flagged and ESP) > Lux Orbis > Lux Orbis + SREC > Animated Water Lily > More Colorful Critters > Waterplants for Skyrim and Waterplants Lily Only > 3D Whiterun Trellis
UPDATING FROM PREVIOUS "OCS" BASE MOD VERSION: > If using OCS Version base mod (prior to this update), it should be ok to replace it with the new OCS patch > The Old OCS Version FormIDs are gone. Instead now, the OCS patch is MOVING the Base ESP FormIDs from WhietrunWorld to Tamriel OCS space > Everything should remain in place where it should be > I do recommend checking the area before continuing a save if updating from: Ver 1.2 OCS Whiterun DEAL to Ver1.3 Whiterun DEAL OCS Patch > Just to play it safe and make sure 100%, things seem to be how they should be before resuming as usual
Version 1.2
> Optional; recommended to use WRTerWind01Waterfall01.nif (segmented) models to choose from depending on your Water Overhaul - Installer Step
Version 1.1
> Reduced unnecessary Ref Count > Restructured the file pathing for this mod > Tons of model optimizations and improvements > 2 New candle light bulbs - lower pond (WRCandleFlickerNS Palette) > Lighting strength is same strength now as Vanilla/OCS Braziers light bulbs since my partitioned meshes give me tons of flexibility. > Tons of huge models partitioned which are the foundation area surrounding the DEAL (flicker-proof) - Optimizes DEAL and WHITERUN > Simplified the Message Box for the Lilypad Colorizer. I don't know what I was thinking initially adding all those brackets and hyphen's. Ewww > Mod Page name changed from DEAL to Whiterun DEAL ("Whiterun" needed to be in name so users have easier time finding the page "search by word")
SUBJECT ON UPDATING FROM VER1.0 TO VER1.1 - TWO FACTORS THAT RAISE MY EYEBROW 01) Plugin names changed since VER1.0 from "DEAL (XXX)" to "Whiterun DEAL (XXX)". Sorry; this will never happen again. Page restructured big-time. 02) Reduced unnecessary Ref Count in DEAL. FormID records that where once there (v1.0) are now non-existent (v1.1). Saves might have baked FormID data and due to this update; those FormID records are non-existent. I'm not sure if this is an issue for saves as I haven't cared over any save in over two years thus never dug deep down the rabbit hole of save data. Not the most knowledgeable on subject. You can test update without making new save to just make sure things seem safe. Obviously; a continuing save will flash you stating a plugin is missing "DEAL (XXX)" because NEW "Whiterun DEAL (XXX)" is being substituted. Test switch before making new saves on top. MAYBE ITS OK. TEST AND USE BEST DISCERNMENT.
Adds Life Along the Main Stairway Ascending Towards Dragonsreach and the Castle Bridge Pond; All Within the Walls of Whiterun
Have you ever felt like the path provided up to Dragonsreach (while occupied with a chunky Whiterun overhaul) seemed bare and boring? That's Where Whiterun's "Dragonsreach Entrance Aquatic Life" (DEAL) comes in
FEATURES: LIGHTING:
Added Light Bulbs (QTY:4) - two top pond, two lower pond
Waterplants (waterplants.esp and waterplants_lily.esp)
PATCHING LIKELY NEEDED (Future to-do's) (A) means a patch needs to be made so DEAL receives the benefits from 3rd-party mod. Until then, the mods work fine active together and have no association (B) means a patch will likely be required as the mods will clash with clipping objects. Until then, user will have to console delete objects within the clash they don't want
Not sure. You can let me know. I am not interested about minimal object interferences. Who wants a plugin disabling one/two things? Just console nuke it
Anything obviously that reinvents or moves Bethesda placed design of the Dragonsreach outskirts or adds mass amounts of new content is a problem
