Have you ever felt like the path provided up to Dragonsreach (while occupied with a chunky Whiterun overhaul) seemed bare and boring?
That's Where Whiterun's "Dragonsreach Entrance Aquatic Life" (DEAL) comes in
FEATURES:
LIGHTING:
  • Added Light Bulbs (QTY:4) - two top pond, two lower pond
  • Added Candle Light Bulbs (QTY:2) - lower pond (WRCandleFlickerNS Palette)
VEGETATION:
  • Lily pad color customization switch. Button is on the base which the Dragon Carving totem seats (right-side) when ascending/going up the main stairs
  • All plant life models have reworked animation support
CRITTER SPAWNS:
  • Salmon and Pond Fish - 24x7 
  • Dragonflies - Daytime /// Spawn Spots - Lower Pond (QTY:1), Castle Entrance Bridge (QTY:1) [max 6 critters per Spawn Point]
  • Fireflies - Nocturnal /// Spawn Spots - Lower Pond (QTY:2), Castle Entrance Bridge (QTY:2) [max 3 critters per Spawn Point]
INSTALLATION:
  • Pick what you want from FOMOD installer
  • Read along the instructions provided within installer
  • Be happy

  • Anything load order specific will be detailed in the provided FOMOD installer.

  • Just takes care of Vurt's Bent Pine come LODGen Time. That's it.

DEAL PACKED ASSETS (BSA-MESHES):
  • Unique file-path so they will not be overwritten. Nothing to concern on over this.
ALL OPEN-SOURCE MA RESOURCES (BSA-TEXTURES):
  • File-path the same as the original resource had said textures file-pathed
  • This is best so if third-party, enhanced textures are ever released replacing the native resource textures, they will work on these files 
  • An example of this would be: Waterplants Improved WI by Pfuscher over DEAL lily textures 
COMPATIBILITY NOTES:
COMPATIBLE (OUT-OF-THE-BOX):
COMPATIBLE (PROVIDED PATCHES - Either by: Plugin/custom asset rework):
PATCHING LIKELY NEEDED (Future to-do's)
(A) means a patch needs to be made so DEAL receives the benefits from 3rd-party mod. Until then, the mods work fine active together and have no association
(B) means a patch will likely be required as the mods will clash with clipping objects. Until then, user will have to console delete objects within the clash they don't want

INCOMPATIBLE:
  • Not sure. You can let me know. I am not interested about minimal object interferences. Who wants a plugin disabling one/two things? Just console nuke it
  • Anything obviously that reinvents or moves Bethesda placed design of the Dragonsreach outskirts or adds mass amounts of new content is a problem
AVOID USING (STUPID TO MIX):
  • Waterplants - OCS Patch.esp
    • The purpose this patch serves is copying ONLY Whiterun waterplants.esp lilies to open world space which I would disable anyway on purpose
