.

{-The Most Complete, Performance Friendly and Endorsed for Fallout 4-}

- #3 File of the Month - August 2017 - 117 Votes -
 - Just 170 mod pages out of 26.3k reached such a prestigious achievement and this is one of them -

Requirements

- Fallout 4 + Season Pass or Fallout 4 Goty Edition  - (NO High Quality Textures DLC) - To disable that DLC you just unselect it from the Steam library page.

Suggestions (Read at least Once)  <-----------------

1) Mod List is in Order, Overwrite Everything unless I say different. Do not use LOOT or any Sorting feature.

2) Green Mods are Must Have or Highly Recommended Mods, so I want you or suggest for you to install all of these.

3) Yellow Mods are Optional but still Recommended. You can freely skip these to enhance performance, stability or to play an intended way.

4) Read the Official Mods' Descriptions to know how a mod works in-game, leave an endorsement to that mod if you loved it and donate to the official author/s if you want.

5) If i don't say wich file to download or the installation text next to the mod is empty, then you just have to install the main file only or one of your preference if there are more. Don't Install mods requirements if i don't say that, in many cases these requirements are fake and not really required, more intended as credits or suggestions, unlucky authors abuse of many nexus site features and make people only confused.

6) Always say yes\ok whenever you will get warnings through mod installers if i don't say different.

7) If you have doubts or you are not sure what you doing, Just Ask, its better to improve modding knowledge and to avoid useless mistakes.

IMPORTANT FOR PERFORMANCE

 - Boston FPS Fix - Download the AIO and PaladinBaileyRedRocket main files. Install them in order.

 - Packing Textures - Download my WorkBase main file if you didn't yet and open the Archive.exe file inside it. On the program window select Archive and then Settings, on the new window change General to DDS and select Ok. Now Drag and Drop the Fallout 4\Data\Textures folder inside the window and wait a bit till it finish to load and don't worry about error logs. Then on the upper left corner select File and then Save As. On the window Name the file as Bundled Textures and save it inside the Fallout 4\Data folder.
In order for this to work, go to Documents\My Games\Fallout4 folder and open both the Fallout4.ini and Fallout4Custom.ini files. Inside both of them copy the following line over the same one inside the files under [Archive] category:

sResourceIndexFileList=Fallout4 - Textures1.ba2, Fallout4 - Textures2.ba2, Fallout4 - Textures3.ba2, Fallout4 - Textures4.ba2, Fallout4 - Textures5.ba2, Fallout4 - Textures6.ba2, Fallout4 - Textures7.ba2, Fallout4 - Textures8.ba2, Fallout4 - Textures9.ba2, Bundled Textures.ba2

Now rename the Textures folder as TexturesBackup so that the game just loads the created .ba2 file only giving more performance and stability instead of loading the loose files.
Remember to always rename it as Textures before you want to add or remove mods that include loose Textures files and then do the process again.
If you see purple bodies on female, it is most likely due to a mistake you made while following this process, or a type error in the .ini files.

  ENB

 - ENB Series - Download the file and open the Wrapper folder. Extract the d3d11.dll and d3dcompiler_46e.dll to your fallout 4 main folder.
 - BRB ENB - Download my BRB ENB miscellaneous file and extract all files to Fallout 4 main folder. If you want more quality you can enable the EnableDepthOfField or the
EnableDetailedShadow lines inside the Enb menu that can be opened with Shift + Enter. At more performance cost you can even enable the EnableSSAO line.

Sometimes the game may be affected by a common  "low-res bug"  that can render some textures in really low-resolution instead of default one. With ENB installed you can fix this issue by going into the enblocal.ini file in your fallout 4 main directory folder.

In this file On the [MEMORY] category set ForceVideoMemorySize=True and depending on how much VRAM and RAM your system has, set the proper value for VideoMemorySizeMb=

(8 GB VRAM and 32 GB RAM) = 33000

(6 GB VRAM and 32 GB RAM) = 31000

(8 GB VRAM and 16 GB RAM) = 17000

(6 GB VRAM and 16 GB RAM) = 15000

(4 GB VRAM and 16 GB RAM) = 13000

(2 GB VRAM and 16 GB RAM) = 11000

(4 GB VRAM and 12 GB RAM) = 9000

(2 GB VRAM and 12 GB RAM) - (6 GB VRAM and 8 GB RAM) = 7000

(4 GB VRAM and 8 GB RAM) = 5000

(2 GB VRAM and 8 GB RAM) = 3000

(1 GB VRAM and 8 GB RAM) = 2000

If the values i gave you are not working fully and you still experience the bug, it's said that 8000 could be the most valuable for many different systems, so you may want to try that aswell in the end if the above do not work fully for you.

Unlucky from other bugs, this one is the most still unsolved and really vary from system to system. With the tweaks i gave above you can actually manage to fix it, as they are things studied over the years with the feedback of users and experiments.

WHEN FALLOUT 4 UPDATES

When the game gets an official update, your F4SE and the mods using its full features will be broken, causing a Crash to Desktop on Launch.

To avoid that for next update go on steam library, right click over Fallout 4, select properties and in the Updates tab, on the Automatic Updates selection, select Only update this game when I launch it, in this way, since you run it from f4se, it won't start updating when you launch it from f4se .exe.

If instead it got updated just do as follows:
 - Delete the f4se_1_10_XXX.dll you have in your Fallout 4 Main Directory folder.
 - Wait for F4SE Team to update their tool and then repeat the F4SE installation in Step 0.
 - Wait for the following mods/files to update for the latest F4SE version and install them again.
