About this mod

Remaining Lore Friendly, I built Red Rocket with materials that I felt could either be gathered around the building or from Concord nearby. That means a lot of wood fortification, corrugated metal and brick. What remains is a rustic feel - where there is a windmill and a chicken coop, but also a greenhouse and booths for trade along the road.

Sanctuary's Red Rocket: Remaining Lore Friendly, I built Red Rocket with materials that I felt could either be gathered around the building or from Concord nearby. That means a lot of wood fortification, corrugated metal and brick. What remains is a rustic feel - where there is a windmill and a chicken coop, but also a greenhouse and booths for trade along the road. I did not want to obstruct the road in any way and I kept that open. The building adjutant to the main station keeps the Red Rocket flavor but adds a bar to the upper level. I put a lot of functionality into a small space but still managed to not make it feel crowded.

I try not to put in too much that would feel out of place. This isn't a place for a lot of settlers but it is function built as a kind of trading post, keeping with that pit stop mentality, along with a small first-aid room. In line with expanding just outside of the vault and Sanctuary itself, this is the next fortification you might build in with expanding that defensive perimeter.

There is a space for Piper's newspaper printing, also, so she won't feel so homesick for Diamond City. The player character has his own room, a bit secluded for unwinding after those hard days surviving, at the top of the corner tower. I nestled a robotics workstation in the center of the rocket base and have woodworking workstations for that rustic flavor.

What you need to do:
Scrap out the nearly every normal bit of scrap around the Red Rocket.  I can't remember if I used the scrap mod Scrap much - and you have to be very careful with this one as it will erase about anything - but it would have been minimum, like debris, extra weeds or the molehills. There is one tree at the back that the deck goes through. I believe I modpos'd the position a bit to be off the side more, but I did keep the tree. Also, save often.
