About this mod

A collection of settlement builds.

*UPDATE*

I am doing my best to keep these builds up to date with the latest versions of the mods, or if a mod I use in a popular build is no longer available, I will try to edit the settlement build to no longer use that mod. With this in mind, I will be working to bring all of my builds into one page to make updates and mod requirement lists easier to manage. I am making the Sanctuary 1938 build the official host page for the files and lists. From this point on you will be able to view and download all of my builds from this page!

With the latest Transfer Settlement update, I am also having to re export the settlements to accommodate for the new features! This will take time as a lot of my settlements are large. All of the re-exported files will be available on the files section of this mod page.

*Master mod list/FAQ at bottom of page

Builds:

**All settlement files will need to be downloaded manually and extracted to Fallout 4\Data\F4SE\Plugins\TransferSettlements\Blueprints\*create a new folder and name it a number 1-10* \Name.json

Sanctuary 1938:

Lore:
If the Castle is the Minutemen's symbol of power, Sanctuary is the beacon of progress. The Minutemen's capital is packed with luxuries seldom seen in the post apocalypse. The motto: "Rebuilding", is embodied here.

Minutemen Commonwealth HQ Redux

Pre build Suggestions:
I recommend scraping everything in order to avoid conflicts. Everything except the radio equipment and tower should be scrapped (you can keep the armory door if you want).

Use Craftable Castle Wall Patches REDUX by DDProductions83 to patch the ANGLED WALL ONLY BEFORE importing the settlement.

Bugs:
The angled castle wall must be re constructed BEFORE the settlement import. For that I use Craftable Castle Wall Patches REDUX by DDProductions83. Once the settlement is imported you will need to scrap the wall it attempted to import. this is on the ground near the work bench. It looks like a sidewalk so it shouldn't be too hard to find.

Installition
Unpack the file and install in the following directory.
Fallout 4\Data\F4SE\Plugins\TransferSettlements\Blueprints\*create a new folder and name it simply a number 1-10 \Name.json

Lore:
With the expedition of the Minutemen's rise to power after the destruction of the institute, a symbol of power was necessary to communicate that the minutemen would be able to govern and protect without succumbing to even a mercenary group as well armed as the Gunners.  The General commissioned the most talented engineers and construction crews to build not only a functional seat of government, but a architectural marvel not seen since before the war .

This is where the highest ranking Minutemen and most specialized  combat units are based, so no expense was spared. Even in a time where space and building materials are at a premium, there are command offices for both the General and the base commander Colonial Garvey; a small clinic; barracks; robot construction/supply depot; and several shops and vendors to ensure minutemen comfort.

Hidden Institute Facility

For some reason, settlers at county crossings always turn up missing... Perhaps the ghouls at the National Guard building are getting them?

Hidden in plain site, the institute continues to experiment with both science and morality. Close enough to downtown to observe the commonwealths main hub of activity, the re-purposed facility goes un-noticed, content to let the nearby ghoul infested National Guard building get all the attention.

Mansion del General

Coming soon:
Can be downloaded currently here

Lore:
With the Minutemen being the undisputed head of the Commonwealth, a site for conducting negotiations with "foreign" dignitaries was needed. The Castle is too sensitive a site to host a bunch of delegates without having to monitor them all the time. The General commissioned the building of a site that could not only offer security, but also luxuries that could help turn the negotiations in favor of the Minutemen. Even Elder Maxon let it slip that, he must remind himself of his duty to the Brotherhood during his trips to Mansion del General; lest the luxury of the location seduce him into letting his guard down.

Section 12: Minuteman Reasearch and Develoupment Facility

Coming Soon:
Can be downloaded currently here

This settlement build requires that you scrap all of the existing items at the location. I use both Spring cleaning and scrap all because between the two of them I can usually get rid of everything I want. I also use stain remover, though I don't think this site needs it. To scrap all, just go into workshop mode (facing the work bench) then while in workshop mode open the console; right click on the workshop; you will see it's ID appear on screen as (#######). Once the ID is on the screen, type "scrapall" *no quotation marks* in the console to get rid of all of the items in the settlement. Note: if you use a build area increase mod this WILL scrap all of the trees between the construction site and the vertabird crash to the west.

Lore:
After the destruction of the institute the care of the Commonwealth rested at the feet of the Minutemen. With the growing need for food and labor, the Minutemen now must become more than a militia.

Section 12; a top secret department made up of the Commonwealth's best minds along with former institute  scientists who came out of hiding after hearing of the destruction of the institute. Led by Minuteman scientist Major Mitch Johnson, section 12 works with salvaged institute technology to aid the Commonwealth.

In late 2297 an alien vessel crashed at the Murkwater Construction site and the settlement was destroyed. The surviving residents called the Minutemen in for assistance. The responding Minutemen evacuated the survivors to other settlements, meanwhile section 12 was called in to handle the crashed vessel. The seclusion of the site, along with the swampy terrain and potential to decipher alien technology made it a perfect location to construct section 12's headquarters.

In this location a team of scientists work to not only reverse engineer alien tech, but to construct androids to assist with the need for farm labor and security personnel.

FAQ:
System Specs. AKA: "Can my system run this build"?
I run a i5-4690k @ 3.5 GHz, 16 gig or RAM with an ASUS r9 390 (8g) for the graphics. Despite having a lot of horsepower for my GPU, Fallout (in a cruel twist of irony as I had Fallout 4 in mind when I built the rig) utilizes about 80% of my CPU when in the large settlement builds... I don't know if it is due to the engine preferring CPU to GPU or that my install location for Fo4 is on a second HDD using an ancient hard disk method for storing data that can only operate at 7500 RPM... Either way, my rig isn't hard to beat for horsepower; you should be fine.

Whatever piece didn't load.
Please check the FAQ's and articles on Cdante's settlement transfer mod page if you cannot find a reason for it there (such as the piece belonging to a mod that is known not to transfer etc...) please PM me a screenshot. I can usually tell you what mod the piece is from and to make sure you have it active.

Why do you use so many mods?
I like environment and set building. I try to stick with one mod for the majority of the structure builds, but decor is often a grab bag. The big ones I use the most are  Settlement Objects Expansion Pack and Snappy HouseKit. If you are wanting to install one of my more recent builds, chances are those two mods will get you 90% complete.
