Khajiit are bound to the Lunar Lattice, the ja'Kha'jay. The phases of Masser and Secunda at birth determine the form a Khajiit takes in life.

This mod is an addon for Project ja-Kha'jay- Khajiit Diversity Overhaul to extend the new types of Khajiit to the NPCs of Moonpath to Elsweyr. It will require both Project ja-Kha'jay and Moonpath to Elsweyr to work. All 7 furstocks from the original mod are represented here, as well as a couple new kinds.
You'll see:
- Alfiq- "The Alfiq are a diminutive form of magically gifted Khajiit resembling typical housecats."
- Dagi/Dagi-Raht- "Physically, they have facial features that are comparable to that of lynxes and are short in stature, making them among the smallest of the furstocks.”
- Cathay-Raht- "Khajiit of this furstock were nicknamed as 'jaguar-men' by the Imperial Geographical Society."
- Ohmes- "They resemble Bosmer, though they are sometimes shorter. To avoid being mistaken as such, many Ohmes tattoo or paint their faces to resemble a feline aspect."
- Ohmes-Raht- "In contrast to men and mer, the body of an Ohmes-raht is covered by light fur, and they do have a tail."
- Pahmar- in Moonpath, Pahmar are quadrupedal, tiger-like Khajiit (in current canon, these NPCs are closer to Senche/Senche-Raht.)
- Pahmar-Raht- "Due to them being the strongest of furstocks, they are usually deployed as bodyguards and warriors... they resemble Senche-Tigers."
- Suthay/Suthay-Raht- "They are similar in height and build to the races of man, but [...] they have digitigrade legs. The Suthay-raht furstock was the most common in Morrowind near the end of the Third Era."
- Tojay- "Little is known of the Tojay, except that they live in the southern marshesand jungle regions of Elsweyr, as well as the Tenmar Forest."

Q: Legacy of the Dragonborn version?
A: Moonpath to Elsweyr is NO LONGER INTEGRATED with the SE version of Legacy of the Dragonborn (I checked both the Changelogs and the FAQ), so there’s no need.
Q: Why are the Pahmar quadrupedal now?!
A: I'd rather portray them as Senche, but the dialogue calls them Pahmar. As to why they're quadrupedal, that's how they are in the original mod and I think it's cool.
