About this mod

Ever tired of seeing Whiterun, which is a center of trade, have run-down walls? So did I. So I fixed them.
NO NAVMESH EDIT, nearly the same footprint as vanilla meshes, which means very compatible/easy to patch!
Parallax is an option too!

DISCLAIMER: Apologies for the quality of the images, I had to downscale them for them to fit!

Ever tired of seeing Whiterun, which is a center of trade, have run-down walls? So did I. So I fixed them.
I went for a unique look, something that will give Whiterun its own identity.

I have included an ESPFE file to raise the walls significantly higher than they are in vanilla. You can use this one independently, if you just want higher walls but not the new meshes, you can.

I've included another ESPFE file to cleanup and add walls to the exterior area, where the drawbridge and gate are. No more broken pieces of walls on the ground, and actual surrounding walls! I highly recommend you use that.

The new mesh have been optimized as much as possible, to minimize the performance hit. I've also made use of BOS instead of a replacer, so that only the meshes in whiterun itself have been replaced. I could have done it with an ESP also but that way is cooler ^^

Best part about them: NO NAVMESH EDIT and I kept the same footprint as vanilla meshes, which means it will be very compatible!

It will use whatever texture replacer you are using for Whiterun (vanilla texture paths)! You can choose Parallax or no parallax.

I am lucky to have been showcased on  a few mod reviewers on youtube!

Requires Base Object Swapper for the non-replacer version. This allows me to restrict the replacement to whiterun only, nowhere else (improving compatibility with other mods using the same meshes!)
At the moment, it will require DynDOLOD to have matching distant LOD for them! I haven't yet done them.

Install with your mod manager.

LOAD ORDER:
Whiterun Has Walls.esp
Whiterun Has Walls - Higher Walls.esp
Whiterun Has Walls - City Exterior.esp
Single patches for the main plugin
Single patches for the higher walls plugin
Single patches for the city exterior plugin
Combo patches

Attention please! When sorting with LOOT, it often places the Higher Walls plugin above the main plugin.
Make sure you add a rule to place it after, or your walls will not be tall!

Should be very compatible, or easy to patch (a few objects to move at most) in any case.

Please check the articles tab for a full list of compatible mods!

Things I want to add:
- Provide a navmesh patch for NPCs to access to the couple new areas
- Accessible/walkable walls!
- Working drawbridge or gate to prevent going up directly in the battle of whiterun!

And of course, fixing bugs
