Replacer for Enderal SE interface in a paper style with some QoL improvements.

This is the paper interface replacer for almost all Enderal SE menus.

Used Tools:

Photoshop - for textures
Inkscape - for vector graphics
JPEXS - for SWF files editing

Enderal SE edition changes over Skyrim SE:

- Covered Enderal hero menu (character spreadsheet)- Covered Enderal text input menu (those used to unlock some chests and doors)
- Remade tab menu (removed "up" option which leads to stats menu)- Removed replacers for unused menus (stats menu, trainer menu, levelup menu etc) and invisible menu fog mesh (as it's already replaced in base game)
- Experience bars (in journal menu, magic menu, lockpicking menu etc) remade to better reflect that they will not fill up
- "Shouts" tab in favorites menu renamed to "Talents"
- "Shouts" and "Conjuration" icons replaced with "Talents" and "Entropy" in inventory and favorites menus

Enderal SE edition changes over Enderal LE:

- Added external skins support (including hero menu, text input menu and loading menu)
- Added all other features from latest Dear Diary SE version
1. Install the mod with mod manager, just follow the FOMOD installer instructions and choose whatever you like. I don't support manual installation, but if you really want to install it manually, of course you can. All the folders in the archive are named properly.

2. After installation you can open the file interface\deardiary\config.txt for enabling-disabling some options and to set transparency if you need it. There is detailed description for every option in that file. 

Completely safe to install / uninstall / update mid-game (of course if using any modern mod manager).
It's a big section, but don't be afraid...
Dear Diary is compatible with most mods, some mods are obsolete (Dear Diary has the same functions included), and even "incompatible" mods may be used without issues if you let them overwrite Dear Diary files, they just won't have a paper look or the UI will be visually inconsistent. 

General rule:
Let Dear Diary overwrite EVERYTHING

Note:

If you use another mod that modifies the config.txt file from SkyUI and you don't want for some reason to fully overwrite it with mine, you'll need to "merge" two config.txt files. If you don't know how to do it, try asking mod author to make a patch for Dear Diary. 
I recommend using the standard Enderal font for languages with latin alphabet, or the included Friz Quadrata font (you can see it on screenshots), or Sovngarde font replacer by Mist.

I don't recommend using the Reshade with this UI replacer, because Reshade alters everything on screen (while ENB works only for the game and not for the UI elemets). 

If you have PS4 controller you may want to use this patch to see correct button tips (overwrite my mod):

Some mods that fit "paper" theme:

Paper UI Sounds by Muffloid - a project to replace Skyrim's UI sounds with paper sounds, to work with paper interface retextures and maps. Works great with my mod. Dear Diary will automatically detect it and will use new sound descriptors from it.

Paper HUD by rob18 - to complement the HUD UI with very similar design. 
Wood and Paper by uranreactor (me): overall darker textures, nice for dungeon crawling. 
Dear Diary Ui Skins by K0W4LSK1: hub for new skins; for now the leather version is realeased. 
Dwemer Readius UI by rob18: a reskin of the UI theme to an ancient Dwemer Starling device display.
Ancient Stone UI by rob18: a skin replacer for Dear Diary specifically built for Enderal.
The Wooden Pad by NismoMan: a wood and paper themed skin replacer for Dear Diary.
