Added Wyrmstooth Patch
Replaced a verry Large cloud texture that always bugged me with a better one - If oyu wanna check tyle in the console: fw 10a236
TO ALL ENB AUTHORS: With this Version the distance mountain fogs react now accordingly to the Particle settings in enbs. Most of the Clear and cloudy and Overcast weathersh as a large Particle system spreading Foggy clouds in the lower mountains. When Tweaking weathers make sure you wait about a half minute or so in order for them to be visible.
Changed Weather chances for the Riften Area to me more sunny
Version 2.40
Fixed tons of weathers concerning fog since the CK fixes fog visibility.
made changes for enbs to work out better cus i am at the moment developing vividian enb
fixed mintys lighting mod patch for the latest version
Version 2.30
Introducing with this Update is Vivid Weathers SE Classic. This will set the Tonemapping back to the Reinhard Tonemapping instead of Fimlic. As a result the Image is more sharper , crisp and more fantasy like. It is also prefered to be used with third party weathers introduced by mods and patches like truestorms. Please make sure your ENB is compatible with the Classic version, though as i have not changed weathers it should be most likley. To fall back to filmic Edition just disable the Vivid Weathers SE - Classic.esp.
Changes:
Overworked script logic for Filmic Edition to recognise the Classic shaders.
Fixed a bug caused by Werewolf or Vampire transformatoins to get a black screen
Fixed some Fog and overcast weathers
Workaround for a Engine bug suddenly switching to a non specified default weather in interiors making everything to go super bright
Version 2.21
Fixed missing soundfile for interior rainsounds
Version 2.20
New Feature: Moonphase affects night brightness. (thanks qqqbbb for permissions of his script)
Moonphases now affect night brightness. The first implimentation is done for all weathers, next release will have weathers excluded where no moon shines cus of the clouds.
New Feature: Interior Sounds
Rain and Thunders are now hearable in interiors. (thanks to fadingsignal for inspiring)
Those extra weather sounds loudness can be tweaked with a new Audio slider called Interiors
Fixed:
-All weather sounds now are lowered by its loudness automaticly as soon your enter a dialogue.
-More tweaks to make sure the new shaders are disabled in interiors.. hopefully that fixes some problems ith too much bloom for certain users after loading themself into a interior from a savegame
Version 2.15
This update REQUIRES following update procedure:
1. Set all Visual changes made by the book back to normal
2. Save
3. Uninstall Vivid Weathers
4. Load your savegame
5. Save
6. Install new version.
(this isthe recommended way of updaing all non quest connected mods)
If its not done that way the new fixes won't apply because skyrim saves all kind of stuff in your savegame.
This version Includes alot of fixes for Interiors. There is now a dedicated script disabling the Filmic shaders in interiors wich will bring back all compatibility back for brightness and other interior mods as well as the look like the old version of Vivid Weathers Interiors.
- tweaked Bloom settings again to be more noticeable and not so washed out (bloom works in exteriors only)
- Fixed weathers with empty godrays wich resulted into a massive Glow on the screen (thanks for bad modding tools bethesda)
- Normalized Ambient lighting for the Rifton area, this was ment to workaround the Vanilla bug that the LOD Trees are far too bright. But Too low Ambient lighting doesnt look good.
Use the fixes for the trees provided for vanilla or SFO. I anyhow strongly recommend a tree overhaul like SFO.
- Lots of small tweaks
Version 2.1
IMPORTANT to verdant grass users, Load Verdant Before vivid weathers! Verdant changes the Global contrast to -30 % and washes out your picture.
- Added Sunlight options to regulate sunlight brightness
- Added Moonlight Options to regulate Moonlight Brightness
- repaired the contrast options
- Overhauled the Godrays so they do not bleach out the picture during daytime on clear and cloudy weathers
- overhauled distance fogs and clouds to make the line between Water horizont and sky more smooth

- Added Contrast option to the Book only (need to work out how MCM works :)
- reworked clear and cloudy imagespaces to have a bit less bloom and not to shiny surfaces like stones
- fixed a rain weather with too low raindrops
- repacked with zip, should solve installation issues
Version 2.00
General
- Switched Vivid Weathers to the unused Fimlic Color Grading in Skyrim, this allows a much better color correction and bloom adjustment and results in a much better image quality.
- Overhauled ALL imagespaces and Weathers concerning colors, effects and Lighting from ground up. (thanks to doodlez for inspirations)
- Added MCM menu (thanks kesta) (requires SkyUI + SKSE64)

- tons and tons of more small stuff i forgot by now
Fixes
- Fixed too blinding fog
- lowered rain sound for interior (hopefully)
- added a special script for interiors to handle the new filmic shaders
Patches
- Added Support for AOS
- Added Support for SOS
- Added Support for Falkskaar
- Added support for Mintys lighting mod
- Added support for Bruma
Good to know
With the use of the new filmic shaders Any ENB's become obsolete so far and need a update by the mod authors to reflect the newest Visual changes!
All other mods that use Weathers will need a patch for VW (like falskaar)
Play around with the Depth of field settings (ingame preferences /display) the implimentation is rather buggy and will wash out any distant mountains a bit. If you prefer a sharp picture lower Depth of Field completley.
Get yourself a good interior lighting overhaul like elfx (do not install elfx weathers)
Important:
HDMI & Display port users, make sure your dynamic range is set to full! https://pcmonitors.info/articles/correcting-hdmi-colour-on-nvidia-and-amd-gpus/
Spread the word about it.
Todo
a few weathers needs to be overworked from special effects (blood cursed sun effects) those will be updated with later versions of VW
Version 1.611
Removed changes to imagespaces that where WIP and resulting into a too blury picture.
Version 1.62
IMPORTANT FIX
Hopefully fixed washed out weathers and wrong contrast ones. My skyrim setup went messy and that resuted tweaking Imagespaces against wrong Visual shaders.
Version 1.61
Fixed AGAIN the fact that CreationKit destroyed all the Shader Particles in the mod resulting that all snow and rain weathers are missing actually snow and rain!
Thankyou Bethesta for not giving a gingle F*ck about your modders who reported this issue since Day 1 when CreationKitSE came out!
Version 1.60
- changed volume of a specific wind sound that might be too loud in interiors to hopefulyl fix the stange bug that some external sounds are heard inside
- fixed wrong weather effects of a few weathers (snow against rain)
- added Beyone Skyrim Burma patch as seperate download
- Complete Archive structure was overhauled to be Wyre Bash compatible made by Techangel85! Thanks buddy! I blame you if something doesn't work :D
Version 1.58
This is a HUGE update for Vivid weathers - thats why the revision bump.
I enhanced the diversity of VW enormous trhough all weathers concerning lighting, sky and visual appearance.
The most important change is the (hopefully) proper use of Godray effects. That lead to redo half of all clear and cloudy weathers to be a moist day. That means each regions clear and cloudy weathers have now 50% chance to be moist in air and cast stronger godrays. This also means their appearance drasticly changed resulting in a nice foggy view in the distance while having a clear sky above you.
I overhauled all Volumetric lights (godrays) and sunset/sunrises and especially the Directional ambient lighting. Sorry ENB authors - i think you need to redo all sun settings.
I fixed alot of cloudbugs and hopefully got rid of the black snow effect.
I still recommend to have the Lensflares disabled (bIBLFEnable=0 in your skyrimprefs.ini) in skyrim unless you can live with the fact that they also get rendered on clouds... Then they provide a nice touch to all lightsources.
Version 1.05
- Added a Winter Season ESP. Happy XMAS!
- Added Tree Lods for SFO trees in the installer as well as included the Vanilla ones in the installer too
- Risen up some snow weather particle brightness to hopefully remove the black snow.
Version 1.00
- changed back the cloud texture compression to DXT5 - BC3 Linear , there simply where too much quirks with the more advanced compressions. sadly now clouds look a bit washed out but i might get around that somehow in the near future
- removed the vanilla snow esp and reverted the extra effects behaviour, now you have two more .esp files to add extra rain and snow effects (real skyrim snowflakes), otherwise snow and rain will be using vanilla particle systems.
- corrected alot if gradient stuff, cloud stuff..colors... and so on
- reworked skyrims Cloudy weathers. They are now more hazy and cloudy.
- reworked some volumetric fog
- tons of small changes to the weathers....
- 1k textures are back
Version 0.99
- converted all textures into the new BC7 DX11 DDS sRGBA format. As a result all the cloud textures finally are displayed right again (before that the engine washed the contrast out of them)
- adjusted all weathers concerning cloud layer, color and alpha so the new textures fit in
- adjusted all weathers for better compatibility with the godrays
- added more diversity for cloudy weather sky gradients
- adjusted a bit the distance fog for clear and cloudy weathers (still waiting for CK to work out)
- added the vivid Rain particles back. Now heavy dense rain is back again!
- added real skyrim snow to the lite snow weathers. This will render all snow particles inworld and react as real particles wich get lit by lightsources. But they wont occlude in any way and fall through water ;)
- Added a special patch to bring back the vanilla skyrim snow that occludes on buildings and wont fall through water for lite snow weathers.
- added bookcover textures and meshes
- added a special Sunglare to all clear weathers made by http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/3873/? (thanks to the guys for allowing me to use it)
- Added Volume Sliders for Rain, Thunder and Wind
- fixed bug of overblooming fog
- updated scripts and behaviour of the Vivid weather book so it gets always into your inventory no matter what and shows the menu by opening the book right away
- removed book from inworld
...tonso f more small stuff on weathers...
Version 0.96
-fixed alot of fog and rain weathers that had overblooming
-removed gloomy DOF from the imagespaces making the image a bit sharper (also DOF messes with godrays)
-Removed extended Groundfogs cus godrays can emulate them more nicely now without a big fps hit and strange artifacts on water
Version 0.95
GODRAYS ARE BACK!
-Added godrays to sunsets, sunrise events and to all other nessesary weathers. Please do not expect heavy godrays on a clear sunny day (exept in sunset, sunrise) - those make no sense.
- enhanced godrays to act as volumetric fog on foggy and rainy weathers. great replacement for the extended Grundfogs.
- added special imagespaces to work against the godrays bleaking.
Version 0.91
-added the vivid weathers book right of the entrance of riverwood beside the wood for those who do not have it shown up ingame.
-fixed black rain stripes
- fixed a typo in the book menu
Version 0.9
initial release
had to cut down rain particle systems cus of a bad CK bug.
