Lunar Lattice (aka Dagi-Race Race) is one of my favorite custom race mods and a big part of my inspiration for Project ja-Kha'jay. My Dovahkiin is even an Ohmes-Raht.

I wanted to try and update a good chunk of the assets to be higher quality as well as add some more options for character creation using RaceMenu. I also took the opportunity to edit a few things about the original mod.

If you don't want to download the main mod, all the files that work without it can be found in the Optional Files section.
You do NOT need any of the Optional Files if you download the Main File!

Caveats:
  • Currently, the custom hairs added by LLK do not fit the new head morphs. I may or may not fix them.
  • Elf ears still exist under the Ohmes-Raht ears. I do not recommend using RM's ear sliders, or you will have ears sticking out of your ears.
  • Ears will stick out of hoods. I do not know how to change this, as I tried changing their slot to 31 (hair) and the ears still showed through. I believe it may be that I added them directly to the head records, but since that's my fix for the disappearing mouth mesh the original mod has, I do not want to undo that. If you know of another way to fix it, please let me know!

Main Plugin

Two FOMOD Options:
There are two main file options, and you must choose only one:

Both Versions include:
* High Poly Heads Conversion
How my mod does this differently from the patch from High Poly Head for Custom Races: my mod makes the HPH default. I've edited all thepresets to use HPH parts. I've hidden all the original mod's low poly brows, so they won't clutter the Brows sliders.


The biggest difference: rather than use the Default morph, my heads use the Wood Elf morph. The Bosmer morph has less round cheeks, and overall looks slimmer and sharper. The RaceController scripts have been updated to reflect this.


* New Eye Textures and Meshes
Replaced the eye textures with edited versions of Feral Eyes and one from Mild Eyes. These are higher quality than the old eyes.

I've added a few heterochromia (odd-eyes) options, including new blind variations. I only made a few sets I thought looked cool, so the options won't clutter the menu. If there is another combo you want, you'll have to make it yourself. I've added all eye textures as Extra parts for left and right, glowing and non-glowing, so they just need to be added to an Eye record.

There are two options for each eye color: Non-Glowing and Glowing.
The Non-Glowing mesh is based on Eyes AO Clipping Fix. The Glowing versions are based on edited Starsight Eyes meshes. The iris (ring of eye color and pupil) and scalara (white of the eye) are separate meshes, with the iris mesh using Emissive shader data to create a glowing effect. This allows the eyes to keep
their environmental mapping AND have glowing irises, lending the eyes much more depth than basic glowing eyes (which don't allow environment maps, so they don’t have a gloss effect.)

* Complexions
Added vanilla complexions (freckles, wrinkles,roughness), as Ohmes-Raht are described as having a light covering of fur, meaning you can probably see their skin underneath. I have only tested this with my retextures (optional), but it will probably work with other more hairless retextures (like Lunar Lattice Male Retexture.)

*Vampire Face Complexions
These are special, fully optional complexions available for Ohmes-Raht vampires. Adds some vampire features (sourced from SSEUT Actors) to Nuska's Smooth Face option. I do not plan to cover the other face texture options. These are not automatically applied to vampires, you will need to reopen RaceMenu and set it using the Complexions slider.
Contains two complexions for each sex: Old or Youthful

on Vampires: your pc face and eyes will not change when turned. If you want them to change, you will have to do so through RaceMenu.

All vampire headparts are available to play as a non-vampire. This is to avoid the annoying bug that won’t let you change your appearance via RaceMenu after turning.

* Race Description Consistency Edit
A tiny tweak to change the race description fromdescribing Dagi-Raht to a lore-based one describing Ohmes-Raht. Race name has
been changed to “Khajiit, Ohmes-Raht” to be more distinct from the other Ohmes-Raht mod.

* RaceMenu Sliders Unloc
ked(.ini file)
Adds the Ohmes-Raht race to RaceMenu races.ini, in order to use some more of its sliders (like Expressions)


* NPC Removal
Removes the two generic Ohmes-Raht followers by ticking their 'Initially Disabled' box.This technically edits the Bannered Mare and Ragged Flagon Cells, so you may need to patch for other mods that edit those cells. If you want the followers back, delete all the 'Cells' records in my plugin using SSE Edit.

* Upscaled FaceTint Textures
Used ESGRAN to clean up and upscale Nuska's original warpaints included in this mod. They have gone from 256x256 to 2k, smoothing the blockiness. Please note, you will need to have the SKSE .ini value tweak for iTintTextureResolution to take advantage of the full quality.
  • Options: 2k or 1k




* HQ Teeth Textures
Replaces teeth textures with Sharpened Teeth






Optional Addons

*Ears Options
The elf ears are now high poly and smoother, while still looking furry. There are now 6 options, including smaller ears, and elf-sized ears, with options for all that stick out from the head more. You can either choose one of the 6 as mesh replacements, or choose the Ear Choice addon, which puts all ear types into the RaceMenu Face Part slider.



* Salt and Wind Hair Textures (Texture Replacer)
The original mod comes with a few new hairstyles, but they are super shiny. I used dovaya's Salt and Wind conversion script to make some that fit better in my game.



* RaceMenu - Merlike Overlays (ESPFE Plugin)
Added all Facetint options to RaceMenu's Makeup tab, so you can mix and layer them. There are also a few new textures based on Lunar Lattice Male Retexture's facetint replacers, now for women as well. These should work for any humanoid race


* Earrings (ESPFE Plugin)
Adds a variety of edited and refitted Khajiit-style earrings as jewelry. These come in 3 colors (gold, silver, and copper) with new textures and now use environmental mapping (for a more realistic shine!) The Left earrings use slot 43, while the right earrings use slot 60. I did not add these to any crafting tables or merchants, I recommend using a mod spawner of your choice to get these.

 * Extra Eye Colors (ESPFE plugin)
Separate from the main plugin, as the styles aren't really uniform. Adds some edited options from Cat like Eyes, Dreamburrow's Lion Eyes resource, Serval Khajiit Race, Kala's Vampire Eyes, and
Khajiit Aesthetics Compilation

*
Expressive FaceGen Morphs Compatibility (.ini files)
Adds slider compatibility based on High Poly Head's Expressive FaceGen Morph version.

*Body Retextures (texture replacers)
Available in Vanilla, SOS, and CBBE. Light on the fur (both color and texture.) They both still have some seams (especially males), but they're the best I can do.

* Vanilla Khajiit Skeleton Addon (ESPFE plugin)
Changes the custom skeleton path to just the default Khajiit one. It will use whatever skeleton Khajiit/beast race replacers. Not recommend if you're using digitigrade mods or ones that drastically change the Khajiit skeleton proportions (but I'm not your mom.) Should work fine with XMPSSE, for example.

* Updated XMPSSE Skeleton (mesh replacer)
NOT for use with Vanilla Khajiit Skeleton Addon. This should fix any physics issues for users of the XMPSSE patch who don't want to/can't use the Vanilla Khajiit Skeleton Addon.

* FK's Diverse Racial Skeletons Patch - Khajiit Skeletons for Lunar Lattice (ESPFE plugin)
Not for use with the other two skeleton versions, requires FK's Diverse Racial Skeletons. FKDRS uses custom skeleton paths, so this is just a plugin that makes Ohmes-Raht use that same path.

*Separate Tail Meshes (ESPFE plugin)
Simply separates the Ohmes-Raht tails from regular Khajiit tails, in case you want to use a different mesh. Vanilla meshes included, can be swapped for what you want (personally I use the meshes from Slim Khajiit Tails.)

*Better Claws and Gauntlets Patch (ESPFE plugin)
Patches BCaG so that Ohmes-Raht will have claws on their bare hands. Personally, I recommend using with Better Claws and Gauntlets DAV, which distributes claws to their armors as well.

Miscellaneous Files

These are resources for people who know/can figure out how to use them. I have no intentions of supporting them or explaining how to use them.

* Fia's Eye Textures (texture resource)
Modder's Resource, does nothing on its own. Loose texture files of Fia's Eyes (Khajiit) edited to work as Ohmes-Raht eyes.


*SOS resource (textures resource)
Adds a custom penis texture for males. Needs some work work to appear in-game, if you make a patch with it please let me know.

* Paint.net Eye Files (templates)
Massive template with a lot of blank irises and pupil options.

Skin Textures (templates)
My personal retextures, based on the Plain option with the Male ones based on Tempered Male Skins (including HQ feet meshes)/Khajiit Male Lion Textures and Female ones based on Reverie - Skin/Lioness Look. You can use theses templates to swap out the human skin base textures for the textures of your choice. YMMV. There is also an option for a Male SOS genital texture, as a modder's resource.

* Hi-Poly Head Converter Ohmes-Raht Head Templates (meshes)
Male and Female head meshes you can replace the HPH Converter template meshes with. Will ensure your HPH conversion will have the correct Ohmes-Raht textures.
I recommend backing up the original meshes, then unzipping this file and drag/dropping it into the Hi-Poly Head Converter folder.
