Various creative uses of low clouds for a more dynamic environment, be it for extra ambience to specific locations (Skyrim and dlcs), be it also for playing with proportions, fantasy-like effects, fog simulation and also to cover some eyesores. Does not compromise fps.

Changelogs
Version 1.9.1
Fomod fix for not installing the aio less dense version.
Version 1.9
Brought all the files and all the versions under a fomod installer - there are images there to help guide your selections
Integrated latest individual files in the merges - they were not updated
Not sure what other changes at this point.
The merges and some files were recompacted. The aio merged versions are no longer flagged as esm.
Solitude default was not flagged as an esl.
Skuldafn was cleaned/or was already, but not in the merges.
Remade the environmental merge to suit purists best - different merge.
It is not safe to update.
This is likely to be the very last update this mod gets.
Alter it as you wish - more in the permissions.
Version 1.8
Changed what this mod offers.- removed author´s choice - the structure will remain the same as this new update.
Made a fomod installer which now includes the following options: Default, Default with CC, Less dense, Less dense with CC and Environmental.
Enviromental option is a merge that includes the wilderness mods: Solstheim, Red Mountain, Places, Morthal Swamp, Bonestrewn Crest and Dragon Lairs.
Included in the merged Clouds AIO: Castle Volkihar, Windhelm, Falkreath and Places.
Fixed the merges which included a previous erroneous file for dragon lairs, which had lots of duplicate clouds for other locations with undesirable results.
Updated with newest Clouds over Riverwood.
Version 1.7
Cleaned the files that had a deleted reference which was throwing dyndolod errors. Ups ;)
Version 1.6
This mod is now flagged as an esm. It is too big for an esl. Additionally this removes the need of any patches. Starting a new game is recommended. More showcasing
tl;dr - Removed cloud rings, less dense versions, reworks
Re-positioned a bit above a couple clouds above the blacksmith in Markarth
Main with CC version only. I don´t think a main no cc version is not wanted nowadays so I did not make one. I leave like that.
Version 1.4
As a thank you for reaching the hot files I decided to add the finish to the Clouds over Dragon Lairs. I was a bit low to complete all this stuff.
This update finishes 9 Dragon lair locations with huge cloud effects hovering them. Hope you like them in your travels.
Version 1.3
Switched files by mistake. I don´t know how people got to download it fast, so another version has been added. Added the only consistency patches I could find - in case some people miss the load order recommendation. You don´t need them if you place this plugin high.
Version 1.2
Added Clouds over Creation Club player homes. Requires Bloodchill Manor
Added no CC content merge file as optional
Added Clouds over Creation Club standalone file in the misc files
All merged files follow the update 1.2 for Clouds over Riverwood with adjustments, additions, small details and final touches. Updated mod page.
Version 1.1
Update to follow through Clouds over Riverwood and Clouds over Morthal Swamp 1.1 updates
Clouds over Riverwood: Worked the place a bit with a few adjustments, and added over half a dozen to make the clouds feel closer to the village.
Clouds over Morthal Swamp: Worked on the East side of the swamp and added more "groundfogs", I was not completely satisfied.
pick what you want in the installer. From different all-in-one merges, to purist merges, less dense versions, and all versions of each individual files that ever were.
Purist merge: purely environmental module that ticks all boxes Less dense: 50% less density/visibility. Lighter clouds.
There is no performance impact with this mod.
This mod adds fogs, mists, and unique atmospheric effects when clustered together to many locations around the map and points of interest. Either for ornamental purposes, rougher climate impression, hidding bare rock lods and landscapes, illusion of scale and depth, ambience with a touch of fantasy. You can choose from the installer a purist version.
The clouds colours change with weather and time. Enb or non enb play a major part in the desired effect. For vanilla I recommend the less dense versions. Less dense options are clouds with 50% less visibility
The clouds are static, however they have expansive movement. The clouds cycle, they move, disappear, and appear in the same place. Won´t block views. No performance impact.
Lod friendly Clouds are full lod - you do not need to generate or re-generate lod for this. They are visible from far away.
Load order - Fully compatible. Use with any weather mod, fogs or mists. Load interior lighting and water mods after this.
List
Spoiler:
Show
Clouds over Cloud District - Cloud district Clouds over Markarth Clouds over the College of Winterhold - environmental remains from a disaster - bedrock Clouds over Bonestrewn Crest - volcanic dragon lair - now with clouds swirling around the rocks Clouds over Nightcaller Temple - clouds gather towards the tower in Dawnstar Clouds over Solitude - Clouds on rocks, and more Clouds over Solstheim - had no clouds, no groundfogs - clouds now exist in high points and sometimes travel next to the naked mountain rocks between ridges Clouds over the Red Mountain more clouds surrounding the volcano, extending to the neighbouring landmasses and hiding the lods more. Clouds over Skuldafn Alduin´s enclosure with less naked rocks mountains adding more mistery to it Clouds over Riften - adds dynamic close clouds to an otherwise very dull sky. [Clouds over High Hrothgar - heavenly High Hrothgar Clouds over Riverwood - extra cosiness with clouds Clouds over Morthal Swamp Clouds - mimics dynamic groundfogs for the entire swamp region - creates the illusion of a labyrinth, because the clouds travel, appear and disappear on the spot, created walled landscapes at times, then openning up. Clouds over CC - Clouds for CC player homes Clouds over Dragon Lairs - cloud arenas for all the dragon lairs in the game, enshrouding its locations; useful to tell from a very large distance where a dragon lair is. Clouds over Castle Volkihar - Adds even more clouds outside the castle making it appear more magical and creepy Clouds over Windhelm - depth for viewing distance, hidding bare rocks and mountains behind the city Clouds over Falkreath - cozy forest with fluffy clouds over it Clouds over places - Clouds for ambience in the wilderness and locations not covered by others and that do no justify a mod for each Clouds over Sovngarde
For open cities try running this through the xedit open cities script mod.
same of these examples - some with cloud rings - not default
