OVERVIEW
Energy weapons cover almost every niche in the game, whether that be high-dps, high-dmg, short medium and long distance but one thing melee weapons and guns have over energy weapons is stealth. So I made a silenced laser rifle and gave it a scope to knock two birds with one stone and make a silenced laser sniper.
Parts used: Gatling Laser Focus Optics barrel, Multiplas grip and barrel, Tribeam back, Ratslayer scope
FEATURES
- It does slightly more damage than a laser pistol but is completely silent. The beam is also invisible. It has low durability and only has an ammo capacity of 12. It also comes with a scope by default.
- Weapon mods: GRA Tribeam Laser Rifle High-Cap Terminal doubles ammo capacity, Infrared Laser Rifle Heavy Barrel grants +6 damage.
- Can be found on BoS Scribes and sometimes Mercenaries or Prospectors. Can be sold at the Van Graffs and anywhere else that
sells Tier 3 weapons like the Laser RCW.
- Custom firing sound.
- Custom weapon icon made using Consistent Pip-Boy Icons resource.
ISSUES
None that I know of.
COMPATIBILITY
Should be compatible with everything.
INSTALL/UNINSTALL
To do it manually, add InfraredLaserRifle.esp to your Data folder and add the files in their corresponding directories. Remove the files to uninstall.
Alternatively, you can use a mod manager.
