OVERVIEW
At first I was going to make a Gauss Pistol, but once I put all three barrels together I thought it would be cooler and more original to make a Gauss Shotgun instead.
Parts used: Tesla Cannon Front Piece, Most of the Gauss Rifle, Antimateriel Rifle Turn Lever.
FEATURES
- A lot more damage than a Gauss Rifle, but less accurate and a lot less durable. Slow rate of fire and costs 3 ammo per shot, with a 12 round clip.
- New Ammo: 2mm Ferromagnetic Round. Heavy, expensive and rare. Your best bet is to buy them at the Gun Runners and Commissary.
- New Ammo: 2mm FM Ionized. Does more damage, both to your enemies and your gun.
- The weapon can be found carried by Brotherhood of Steel Paladins and sold at the Van Graffs and pretty much anywhere that sells Tier 5 energy weapons.
- Config options: Set skill between Energy Weapons, Guns and Big Guns. Set skill level. Set if it's affected by Shotgun perks.
- Custom firing sound.
- Custom weapon icon made using Consistent Pip-Boy Icons resource.
ISSUES
None that I know of.
COMPATIBILITY
Should be compatible with everything.
INSTALL/UNINSTALL
To do it manually, add GaussShotgun.esp in the Data folder and add the files in their corresponding directories. Remove the files to uninstall.
Alternatively, you can use a mod manager.
