OVERVIEW
This just occurred to me while playing Dead Money, but God should be able to use weapons. Unfortunately, he is restricted to Supermutant weapons, ones that basically can't be found in the Sierra Madre.
The way I see it, God doesn't have much muscle control, so squeezing a trigger should be much easier for him. Dog on the other hand is made for smashing. I would've liked to create the dynamic of God using the Auto Rifle and Dog using the bear trap fist, but let's just say there's a reason Supermutants can't use unarmed weapons.
FEATURES
- When in God mode, Collar 8 can use the Automatic Rifle if given one and ammo. Now he'll actually use those weapons he keeps asking you to give.
- When in Dog mode, he'll unequip the weapon and not use it.
ISSUES
None that I know of.
COMPATIBILITY
I didn't touch the supermutant forms list and made my own to ensure compatibility, and I was feeling a little lazy so I didn't copy over every weapon in the list (a marginally tedious task). So DoGoD won't be able to use some weapons which weren't in the DLC anyways, but if they were added by mods, let me know and I'll patch it.
This will conflict with mods that change the "Dog, back in the cage!" and Elijah's instructions holotape scripts, although there are none that I know of.
INSTALL/UNINSTALL
To do it manually, add GodWeapons-DeadMoney.esp into the Data folder. Remove the file to uninstall.
Alternatively, you can use a mod manager.
