About this mod

The successor to my previous QuickHUD Preset that I've made previously for DEF_UI, now available for FallUI HUD Users. I've designed this HUD specifically to condense all the vital HUDs into a single convenient spot on the screen, at the bottom middle. the rest of other important HUD elements such as looting HUDs are also centralized

The successor to my Quick HUD Preset that I've made previously for DEF_UI, now available for FallUI HUD Users. I've designed this HUD specifically to condense all the vital HUD elements into a single convenient spot on the screen, at the bottom middle. Other important HUD elements such as looting are also centralized to be in the middle eliminating the need to glance at any other parts of the screen, hence the name QuickHUD

Goes without saying that this preset requires FallUI HUD and MCM

FallUI HUD allowed me to integrate colors into the HUD,
now specific colors are associated with specific HUD elements

Any HUD elements that relays information are associated with Turqoise
Any HUD elements that I'd consider high priority are associated with Gold
Frequent HUD elements are associated with White
Specific HUD elements that requires your attention are associated with Magenta

Installation;
Just use Vortex and then navigate to MOD Config > FallUI - HUD > Layout and then choose "QuickHUDv2_final.ini" and then create a new save, then reload
Manual Installation;
Manual Download the file and extract "QuickHUDv2_final.ini" into 'Fallout 4\Data\Interface\FallUI HUD\Importable HUD Layouts\' directory.
Then navigate to MOD Config > FallUI - HUD > Layout and then choose "QuickHUDv2_final.ini" and then create a new save, then reload

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THESE MODS below as they are shown in the Demo video above;

a. Gameplay

  • HotDiggity - Lots of new lore friendly and useful perks
  • Immersive Fallout - Grounds your character (slower movement, recoils, fall damage, etc)
  • MAIM - Injury overhaul, layers of injuries changing how you take care of the Sole Survivor as any injuries on your limbs and torso will change how your character performs
  • AIM Toggle (Papyrus) - Allows you to toggle aim without AutoHotkey
  • Sound of Silence - Gives you the option to mute most soundtracks, immersing you with the world
  • JSRS Sound Mod - Overhauls the flat, depthless audio of vanilla gunshots
  • Reverb and Ambience Overhaul - Gives another layer of audio feedbacks during explorations indoors and most importantly, indoor gunfights sounds crazy good with this mod
b. NPC Overhaul

  • 4ESTGIMP -  AI Edit and Complex Sorter NPC Scaling (Scales enemies with the Sole Survivor, leveling the playing field even at high level so that you will never feel overpowered)
  • PANPC - Pack attack NPC Overhaul (an AI rework on how NPCs fight against you - flanking, staying behind cover, group charge etc - pairing this with MAIM turns EVERY firefight into a life or death situation)
  • FGEP - Feral Ghoul Expansion Pack (because ferals are pretty boring in Vanilla Fallout 4)
  • SCOURGE - Standardised NPC stats (pairing this 4ESTGIMP furthers the leveled playing field)
  • Live Dismemberment - Because The Commonwealth isn't the place for the fainthearted
  • Realistic Death Physics - Removes any baked death animations that always looks silly
  • Corpse Collision - Because I find it weird that enemies bodies instantly turns ethereal the moment they died
c. Equipments

  • Combined Arms - You'd have to live in some cave if you don't know about this mod
  • Westek Tactical Optics - Fashion with night vision function
  • ECO - Equipment and Crafting Overhaul gave the ability for portable workbenches, inventory management on the fly made easier
  • Lootable Crates - Component farming in a lore friendly way

d. Visuals

  • Blood mist overhaul - Replaces the corny blood splatter effect with blood mist, because the vanilla effects looks a lot like a Tarantino movie
  • True Blood - This mod adds UV texture to blood splatters giving it the effects of depth, comparing to other mods on this site which just adds more 8k flat textures
  • Burst FX - Overhauls the vanilla sparks, making it dynamic, adds more sizzle to your gunfights
  • Todd Rays - You see that mountain there? You can climb it
  • Decent Plus - Beautiful ENB with minimal impact to performance
