This mod edits several enemy and combat behaviors for a more challenging experience.   It is intended to be lightweight, and highly compatible while still making a noticeable difference.

It is based off KeyC0de's work Fallout4 Advanced AI Tweaks.  His mod is very comprehensive and changes many settings which I never knew existed.  The gameplay was a little too rough for me though.  So I took the settings listed on his main page, cut the changes in 1/2 and made this mod.

22.06.04 Update - Added NPC Combat Style records too.

This mod pairs very nicely with PANPC.

Running Raider Overhaul, Raider Gangs Extended, and  a couple ghoul mods created a bit too much for PANPC to process all at once in heavy areas like College Square.  So I turned off Raiders and Muties in PANPC.  The AI tweaks here keep those factions dangerous while saving some script space.  Now all the enemies are dangerous and gameplay is smooth.


22.06.16 Two new AI Edit Versions created:

4estGimp - AI Edit Crippled - Removes Race record flags for "Can Use Crippled Limbs" from Humans, Super Mutants, Ghouls, and Synths.
4estGimp - AI Edit Crippled LMCC - Same as above but for Looks Menu Customization Compendium users.

Also, Super Mutants were buffed in all 3 versions:
 - Radiation Healing
 - Endurance
 - Damage Resistance
 - Energy Resistance

22.12.13 Two Super Mutant Redux versions created:
These are the same as the above two mods but should be used if running SMR.

Choose ONE AI Edit.
- Load the LMCC version BELOW Looks Menu Customization Compendium.
- Use the SMR version ONLY for Super Mutant Redux and load BELOW Super Mutant Redux.
- Load a non-SMR version ABOVE Super Mutant Overhauls other than SMR.  That way the Mutant mod will use its own SuperMutantRace record if it has one.

Complex Sorter users should use the NPC Scaling plugin included with my Enhancements mod.  I like to set the mod to 110% my level as it makes enemies tough but not a grind.

Standalone - No other NPC Scaling or Encounter Zone mods are required.

- This is a Complex Sorter plugin and ONLY works with Complex Sorter.
- Included with 4estGimp  - M8r Complex Item Sorter Enhancements II.
- This stand-alone file is for those who run Complex Sorter but don't run 4estGimp - M8r's Complex Sorter Enhancements II mod.
- This script sets all NPC and Encounter Zones to 100% (adjustable) the player level.  This is saiska's xEdit Script NPC Auto Scaling (No Level Limit) converted into a Complex Item Sorter Plugin. The Cathedral License only applies to this specific file and no other components of Complex Item Sorter.

Explanations

1) 4estGimp - AI Edits_Crippled_LMCC (for looks menu users)  It runs at the top of my NPC and Creature Overhaul section so SMR SuperMutantRace record is the conflict winner.
2) _PAHelmet Always - Ensures all Power Armor sets spawn with a helmet to prevent them from being easy headshot kills.
3) Pack Attack NPC Edition - PANPC - Smart, paranoid, and coordinated NPCs with a great AI.
4) Pack Attack Companion Edition - PACE - as above but for companions
5) Hit Em Where It Hurts- Fah Habah  - A simple and powerful locational damage system which requires ZERO patches.  Read the mod page for details of where creatures and humans are vulnerable.

6) 4estGimp - CR-PAHelmetAlways - Load it low.  Conflict Resolution for Raider Overhaul One and Gunner Outfit Pack Leveled List NPC Integration PA Sets.
 - - Ensures Clint's and Tessa's Power Armor have a helmet and are still the correct Gunner PA sets.
 - - Keeps Slag's PA Raider Power Armor as a Raider painted set.
 - - Names the PA sets for Proctor Ingram and "T-51".

Then all of my mods are run through Complex Sorter using the 4estGimp - NPC Scaling plugin.  This handles Encounter zones too.
