No worries, just stating that i cant add a gang if there are no classnames to add to the code, and if they do exist in RDR2 then they will have classnames, so thats basically what im asking you. If you can find those classnames then let me know and i will add them, otherwise i will search myself and see what i can find. Thanks for asking.
Author please I love this mod but it has so many conflicts with so many mods I use I'm serious. the 1.29 and 1.30 versions were stable for me. so can you please add enable/disable option, stealth clear camp option and remove the hideout blip after its cleared ?

As in ...what? Enabling/disabling the mod itself? Thats already an option, press F3 to disable, press it again to enable, its at the top of the bandit_hideouts.ini Which is this below:

stealth clear camp option
Read what that says: ATTACK_IF_ENTERED_HIDEOUT=1 // Enabled by default, bandits at hideouts will attack the player when he enters the hideout. If set to 0 they will only attack if they see the player, best for stealth.

Already does that, if its not doing that for you then are you not creating a new save on an empty slot every game session? Have you not deleted the bandit_hideouts.dat and clearedhideouts.dat before starting the game? Doing that will fix any issues and reset the mod.

Im running 45+ mods myself and have no issues with the mod, until i exceed the number of bandits my computer can handle at a hideout which is around 90 or so
Okay here is the tricky part I tried 1.39 with zero othe mods. it did work. It didnt work before with Rampage running. so without zero other mods it works. then I added other mods 1 by one and when I added the Hat blip mod (it shows your hat when dropped) the game gave a scripthook error with 0x0000blahblah3350 id 33 or something. same thing happens with 1.34 ,1.35, 1.36 so on until 1.39. The weird part is with 1.30 works really well like a charm with literally every other mods I use like Rampage, bounty expansion, auto greet, contracts, hat blip so on. when I REPLACE WITH 1.39 files with that dat file and cleared file deleted errors occurs.
Did you not review the compatibility article to see what mods work with BH and which ones dont? Rampage is one of them.

Its not going to be compatible because as you can tell its interfering with the blip functions in BH, you do know you can retrieve your hat when you access your horse right?

Did you delete the bandit_hideouts.dat and clearedhideouts.dat files before you started the game, when you installed a new version?
If you dont do that, then its going to give you issues. The .dat files store data, status of hideouts, timer info, settings info ect,. for whatever version your on, if you install another version and you still have .dats for an older version then there might be a possible conflict or issue.
If it's possible please add mod on/off option and "once a hideout is cleared the hide out circle and blip dissapears" options to the 1.30 version
No, not possible, i'm not able to open older asi versions and update them. The asi file is a compressed and compiled export of a 132 scripts worth of code, theres no way to open it and unravel it and change anything, wouldn't know how if it were possible.
Once an asi file is created then all i can do is replace it with a new version that has changed code, but i cannot go backward and add something that is in the current version of the mod to an older version as it dont exist. The code in the scripts where im at currently is v1.39 there is no way to go back, i dont have backed up scripts of older versions that i can load and make available, i usually have 1 backup and its the previous version.
Either lose the incompatible mods your using or your stuck with whatever version of BH your using that works for you. Doing that would be missing out on all kinds of new features, hideouts, ambush points, fixes, and many other misc updates, review the changelog to get an idea what was done from the version your on to the latest.

I use dinput8.dll and ScripthookV2 there in nexus mod.
SUPER IMPORTANT UPDATE. I FOUND A FIX!!!! 😁😁😁 when I was adding other mods on top of Bandit hideout mod one by one. I noticed that all the game loading errors/crashes occurs if a particular mod's .asi file's name is starting from "C" onwards. then I checked the Asi log file and YES!!! I saw that all the mods are loaded in Alphabetical order. So I had this weird Idea to rename all the other mods's .asi files with an "A" in front. So that the Bandit hideout mod loads as the final mod. eg :- Duels.asi > ADuels.asi Hatblip.asi > AHatblip.asi Guntricks.asi > AGuntricks.asi
even Rampage to "ARampage.asi". now if you look at the Asi log file "BanditHideout" mod loads at the very last. because all other mods are renamed with an "A" in front.
and YES it worked perfectly. like WTF ? even Rampage works without any issue. hatblip also worked. simply all the mods worked. If anyone see this reply and having issues with it. Try this method.

Good discovery! Kudos! Though part of renaming the asi was already in the solutions article, renaming the other mods so BH is last will be a nice addition i will add to the solutions article. I will revise the solutions article a little bit more this week, im happy you figured it out as it will help others with the same issue.
I had known your issue was because of compatibility, and i would have really hated to see you and anyone else miss out on all the work that was done on the mod especially with more to come. Are you creating a new save on an empty slot? Are you deleting the bandit_hideout.dat and the clearedhideouts.dat files before you are loading the new version? You shouldn't be having issues as i didn't.
What Scripthook are you using, whats the version of your ASI loader? Mines latest, i use V2 Scripthook and have no issues, the issue is on your end, i have mods loaded about 40+ of them and BH runs fine for me.
newer versions has so much conflicts with so many mods I use.
Again as i asked on your original comment, what mods are you using? Have you created a new save on an empty slot and every session? Have you deleted the bandit_hideout.dat and clearedhideout.dat files prior to loading the new version?
If your not doing that, then thats part of the reason, i do it every time i play, im using 45+ mods and have no issues. Either your not following the protocol which imo fixes and resets everything, or your using mods that arent compatible which if you want me to help you, then list what your using.
The last mod that installed without problems was Bandit Hideouts v1.30-2213-1-30-1724071504.
Its v1.30 idk what the rest of the numbers are i didn't add them.

Before installing, I delete and before entering the game bandit_hideout.dat and clearedhideout.dat — it doesn't load
You mean before starting the game you deleted those files correct? Deleting the .dat files just resets the mod, i suggest only doing it if your having issues ingame with the mod, like hideouts not spawning, or tents floating, or the cleared hideout message not showing ect,.
Whats not loading, the mod? How do you know its not loading? Are you ingame and looked at the map, do you see skull icons all over the place? If you do then the mod is loaded.

Reinstall the game? You dont need to reinstall the game itself to get the mod to work, i need more details as to what the exact issues you are having are. So far you told me the mod is not loading from what i can understand. Reinstalling the mod or game wont fix anything, just leave everything installed.

If the mod is crashing with a Scripthook error, or just crashing it can be a number of things: 1. Your using AB Scripthook which may or may not be reliable to use vs ScrithookRDR2 V2. 2. It could be your ASI loader, if your using the one from AB Scripthook then its out of date, and has issues, best to get the latest version: https://github.com/ThirteenAG/Ultimate-ASI-Loader/releases
3. You may have other mods conflicting with BH, review this list to make sure any mods your using are compatible: - Mods Compatible and Not Compatible with Bandit Hideouts: LINK
4. Your not creating a new save on an empty slot ingame, you need to do this so that your save dont bloat, and cause misc bugs. Also if your having issues with the mod delete the Bandit_Hideouts.dat and clearedhideouts.dat in your RDR2 directory before you start the game and that will reset the mod.

Open the Bandit_Hideouts.ini and scroll down and look for these settings. The settings are in yellow, and the rest is a description on what the settings do, and how to enable/disable it.

Welcome, because if you leave it enabled it can prevent some hideouts from spawning when your not doing any story missions. So if you want to add it yourself you can, i would suggest to disable it if your not doing any missions and want to clear hideouts or something with the mod.
The hideouts disappear after everytime I edit the .ini file sadly. The only way I could make it work again is by deleting the .dat and clearedhideouts files. Is there anyway to fix this?
First, it was just CLEAR_HIDEOUTS_PERMANENTLY from 0 to 1. Booted up the game, then found out that the hideouts were gone, so I deleted the dat and clearedhideouts files, which fixed the mod of course. The only problem is, it resets the progress LOL.
Are you not understanding what the CLEAR_HIDEOUTS_PERMANENTLY=1 setting does?
The setting's name is the function of it, when set to 1 it basically disables the hideouts from spawning after it is cleared. The description after the setting in the ini tells you what it does:
// Disabled by default, if set to 1 hideouts you clear wont spawn, a ClearedHideouts.dat file will be created saving the status of a hideout.
If you delete the .dat files which stores the data and status of the hideouts and other information regarding settings, everything will be reset. So what are you trying to do exactly, what is your exact issue?
Yes, I am aware that the cleared hideouts are expected to disappear. The problem is, the hideouts that havent been cleared yet + blip icons (I always have this on) disappear after altering the ini file.
What are you altering in the ini beside what you already listed? What other mods are you using if any?
So your saying that after changing something in the ini, that when you get ingame the map blips for the hideouts other then what you cleared already arent showing? Are you creating a new save on an empty slot during the game at least before you exit the game?
Deleting the bandit_hideouts.dat shouldn't interfere with hideouts you cleared when using the permanent setting. The clearedhideout.dat file is saving the status of the hideouts you cleared, so dont delete it.

not doing any story missions. So if you want to add it yourself you can, i would suggest to disable it
if your not doing any missions and want to clear hideouts or something with the mod.

First, it was just CLEAR_HIDEOUTS_PERMANENTLY from 0 to 1. Booted up the game, then found out that the hideouts were gone, so I deleted the dat and clearedhideouts files, which fixed the mod of course. The only problem is, it resets the progress LOL.
setting does?
The setting's name is the function of it, when set to 1 it basically disables the hideouts from spawning after it is cleared.
The description after the setting in the ini tells you what it does:
settings, everything will be reset.
So what are you trying to do exactly, what is your exact issue?
What other mods are you using if any?
So your saying that after changing something in the ini, that when you get ingame the map blips for the
hideouts other then what you cleared already arent showing?
Are you creating a new save on an empty slot during the game at least before you exit the game?
Deleting the bandit_hideouts.dat shouldn't interfere with hideouts you cleared when using the permanent setting.
The clearedhideout.dat file is saving the status of the hideouts you cleared, so dont delete it.
