This is a list of mods for Oblivion to get you started as well as how to mod the game. Intended for the new player modding for the first time and also those seeking mods to use.

Archfiend

Archfiend is a quest mod for Oblivion that will take the player on a thrilling battle between good and evil. While on this quest, you will be able to explore multiple new deep dark dungeons and find the ancient evil that lives inside. As you explore these underground lairs, you will be met with a whole new set of grizzly and vile creatures.

No Anachronistic Main Quest Comments

Disables most references to specific events in the Main Quest after a certain time.

Better Forts

Remakes many of the Forts in Oblivion to be unique and more interesting, sometimes adding new small quests to them as well.

Voyage - Deserts Of Oblivion

Voyage: Deserts Of Oblivion is a new world exploration, dungeon delving mod with survival aspects and multi-phased boss battles. In this mod the player finds themselves lost in a far away desert realm somewhere in Oblivion and has to explore its vast sandy wastelands looking for a way out.

SupreMe Overhaul

Not much of an overhaul, but its a revamped collection of my mods that tweak and improve the experience of oblivion from AI, crime ,speechcraft, lockpicking, movement and other QOL or bug fixes.

Extended Dialogue

Adds additional generic dialogue lines for NPCs by splicing existing dialogue and using OBVA Synth to generate new voice lines.

The East Empire Company

An extensive quest mod months in the making with hundreds of lines of dialogue created using OBVA Synth. Rise in the ranks of the East Empire Company, and complete quests solve problems for the Company in this large DLC-like mod.

ef's Fishing Mod

Adds Minecraft-style fishing mechanics, and several different fishing rods to the game. Fully voiced and configurable. Besides various fish, there's a very small chance you might fish up treasure or junk that could be nearly any item in the game!

ef's Shopkeeper Mod

Extensive, highly configurable, and in-depth player-run item shop mod that is NOT just a better, unbalanced way of selling items. Hire and obtain various workers and machines, acquire upgrades and expansions, put your best items on display, watch customers actually come into and browse your store, change what kind of store you run, etc.

Shivering Isles - New Dukes

Adds 2 new followers to New Sheoth that you can also make Duke/Duchess.Expands the palace and better connects it from the inside.Adds 1 questline for earning the loyalty of one of the new Dukes.

Voices for Female Dremora NPCs

Adds voices to female Dremora, for mods that introduce female Dremora, such as Oblivion Character Overhaul version 2. It is not dependent on Oblivion_Character_Overhaul.esp, and will work with any mod that adds unvoiced female Dremora to the game. All of the voice files have been pitch shifted to sound more female.

Dark Brotherhood Hideouts and Listeners Chamber

This mod adds: V: 1.8 A new hideouts for the Dark Brotherhood located in the Imperial City Arboretum, Anvil cemetary, Bravil cemetary, house in Bruma with a vast Basement and a Listener\'s Chamber that has to be teleported to. All have fences available at different ranks and NPC\'s. Two new quests with more to come as well as more hideouts.

Knights - Fewer Condescending Comments

Reduces the frequency of condescending comments from the Knights of the Nine DLC, such as "I used to think you were a hero. A holy knight and all that. I guess I should have known better." and "I used to admire you. But it turns out you're just a sinner like all the rest of us."

The Black Mirror - A Necromancer Shop

This mod adds a hidden necromancer shop in the Market District of the Imperial City.

Shroud Over Stalrous Manor

A horror/mystery themed quest mod that spans 9 chapters of dark mystique, mystery and psychogenic horror. Will you unravel County Bruma's darkest secrets?

Fully Voiced Vile Lair Overhaul (Cyrodiil Redux Project)

Complete overhaul of the official 'Vile Lair' DLC. Over 130 lines of dialogue with the original voice actors, delving deep into the history of Greywyn Blenwyth and the Crimson Scars and having Rowley Eardwulf become a potential follower.
