This is a Transfer Settlements Blueprint at the Wicked Shipping Fleet Lockup, turned into a settlement via spacetimebender's mod.

The General, contrary to popular belief, didn't call the Castle home. Instead, they used a pre-war prepper bunker near Abernathy farm. Before the General's rise to farm, the hidden nature of the bunker was sufficient to protect it. After, Minutemen forces were positioned at the site. While now conspicuous, this forward location served the Minutemen well for their expeditions west. 

Earthwork bunkers were made to house patrolling troops and the General's myriad of companions. Not especially comfortable, but the wood structures surrounded by packed earth made for a defensible homestead. In time, frontier farms all over the Commonwealth would feature these half-sunken structures. Half bunker, half home. 

So my General doesn't stay at the Castle, instead using Elianora's Army Bunker Player Home. Highly recommend it. However, I wanted a settlement above the bunker, and the mod linked above was the best fit for making that happen. Prior to Starfield I wanted one last hurrah in F4, and this settlement with the bunker was the home I used. As a result, it's got a decent amount of detail in certain spots. 

I was really happy how the "home bunkers" turned out. I used ClipBoard Resurrected to sprinkle them at other settlements.
