  • Expansion Description: Mythic Legendary Modifications

    By default chuckdm's Mythic Legendary Modifications relies on another old legendary crafting mod that is incompatible with other legendary mods. With this release this dependency was removed and thus the mod became compatible with LEO.
    Also, the original mod only allows to craft its new/custom legendary effects. This mod however expands the original mod's feature set by several completely new features, made possible by utilising LEO as a framework.

  • 10mm Pistol and Laser Musket

    Most of the weapons in this mod will only be beneficial for the first few levels of the game.  Once the Player gains more skill, and finds or purchases more capable weapons, most entry level weapons are out classed.     Optional SS2 features - *these options won't even be shown in the installer for enabling if SS2 is not a currently active mod*:
    Single-level SS2 City Plan design, with a variant to enable use of the city plan in the settlement as either an outpost or non-outpost for SS2 players. See article for more information but in short these are akin to SS2 Basics non-upgradable city plans on the base SS2 mod, and are not strictly balanced for hardcore/components. I might consider doing leveled plans in the future if there's enough demand.

  • The Rule of One and Modding Bethesda Games

    What is the rule of one?
    The rule of one means that all Bethesda titles only ever use the last record of any given formid.  This is why we can change the game.

    How it works is like this:  A formid is created.  Every succeeding record with the same formid then replaces that record in it's entirety.  So if I have a specific formid, and 100 people make changes, that means I now have 101 records with that formid.  They are then read sequentially by the game engine until the last record is read.  Every time the engine looks at the next record, it essentially forgets all the prior records and only remembers the last one read.  This means that 99 of those 100 changes are completely discarded and not seen by the game.  Since a patch is just another succeeding record, all ...

    Containers and Worldspace/Interior Cells
    The leveled lists used to decide what spawns in containers have been adjusted to change the chances of different items spawning. The items that spawn have been kept as close to the base game's as possible, just with a lower chance of spawning.

    Hundreds, maybe thousands of items have been removed from the Worldspace and Interior cells. The general method for choosing which were removed was based on the number in the cell. If there was only one of a particular item, like Radaway, in a cell, then it got removed.
