If you've ever looked for a great ENB preset you have likely come across rudy102's work which is always the highest quality, and Rudy ENB for NAT 3 is no exception. It is a new preset that combines a little realism, a little bit of magic, and is designed specifically for NAT 3 (Natural and Atmospheric Tamriel).

WHAT THIS MOD DOES
Due to the differences between the SE and VR versions of ENB some features don't work the same causing ENB presets tuned for SE to not look as intended in VR. Rudy ENB for NAT 3 - VR Patch is a modified preset that tunes these settings for the VR version of the game.

ADJUSTED
  • Adjusted Ambient Occlusion, Skylighting, and Cloud Shadows to VR-friendly values.
  • Rain updated to look better in VR.
  • Fixed the white border by including coldbomb1's VR ENB White Border Fix

ADDED
  • Rain wetness effect added to rainy weathers.
  • Quality version that contains all features enabled at the cost of performance.
  • Balanced version that disables the more costly features like Ambient Occlusion, Skylighting, and Cloud Shadows while leaving other features enabled.
  • Performance version that disables most ENB effects but still keeps the core of the preset.


INSTALLATION
CLEAN UP ANY PREVIOUS ENBs
1. Make sure to delete any previous ENB files and folder, enbcache folder, and any Reshade files from your game folder.

GET THE VR ENB FILES
2. Download the latest VR ENB binaries
  • ⚠️If you download v0.495 be sure to not skip steps 9-12 below, or just use v0.490 instead if you already have it.
3. Extract ONLY the d3d11.dll and d3dcompiler_46e.dll into you game folder, where SkyrimVR.exe is.

DOWNLOAD RUDY ENB FOR NAT 3
4. Go to Rudy ENB for NAT 3 and follow the installation instructions on the page. 
5. Don't forget to endorse.

REMOVE TWBACKGROUND.DLLPLUGIN
6. Open the enbseries folder and delete twBackground.dllplugin - This plugin allows the SSE ENB menu to show a background image, but causes VR to crash.

DOWNLOAD VR PATCH AND OVERWRITE SE
7. Download either the Quality, Balanced, or Performance version of Rudy ENB for NAT 3 - VR Patch. (Only pick one)
8. Extract all of the content from Rudy ENB VR for NAT3.zip into your game folder overwriting the SE files when prompted.

⚠️ EXTRA STEP FOR VR ENB v0.495 USERS
In the latest version of ENB an effect called Detailed Shadows was added for VR but is not finished yet and can look like strange 3D shadows.
The steps below explain how to disable this feature until a future version of ENB fixes it.
9. Run the game. Once you have made it to the main menu screen press Shift+Enter to open the ENB menu.
10. In the EFFECT section, uncheck EnableDetailedShadow.
11. Press ---SAVE CONFIGURATION--- (This could take a few seconds)
12. Press <<<<<APPLY CHANGES>>>>>

TO UNINSTALL
Delete the files copied in the steps above from your game folder to uninstall.
