Changelogs

Autumngate is a small player home built with believability in mind and made to fit into the world of Skyrim.  The house has one large living/dining room, a bedroom, a cellar, an outdoor patio and a dock.  There are 4 available versions of the house as well as multiple optional add-ons. All plugins are ESL flagged.

When installing the mod, you'll find 4 available versions each with their own features: Standard, Forge, Reduced Clutter, and Reduced Clutter Forge.

Standard: The default, believable version of Autumngate with a small cellar. Contains a tanning rack, armor workbench, alchemy station. Also has plenty of containers for storage, racks for displaying your weapons, and a modest set of bookshelves in the bedroom.

Forge: A slightly less believable version of Autumngate with an expanded crafting cellar (see below for comparison screenshots). Contains a tanning rack, armor workbench, sharpening wheel, blacksmith forge, smelter, and alchemy station. As with the standard version of the mod, there are plenty of containers for storage (a few extra around the forge), racks for displaying your weapons, and a modest set of bookshelves in the bedroom.

Reduced Clutter: A version of Autumngate identical to the Standard version, but with reduced static clutter (see below for comparison screenshots). This version was created for those that don't like clutter, or who are really struggling with game performance. Contains all of the same features as the Standard version.

Reduced Clutter Forge: A version of Autumngate identical to the Forge version, but with reduced static clutter. This version was created for those that don't like clutter, or who are really struggling with game performance, and also want to do most of their crafting at home. Contains all of the same features as the Forge version.

For those that want to preserve their in-game economy and don't want a free house given to them, there is an optional Purchasable House add-on. This makes the house purchasable from Wilhem, the innkeeper at the Vilemyr Inn located in Ivarstead, for 12,000 gold (value calculated based on vanilla Skyrim houses).

Made by player request, there is a new optional Enchanting Table add-on, which adds an another outdoor deck containing an enchanting table and some additional outdoor storage.

Autumngate is located in the Rift, just southeast of the town of Ivarstead. See below for map marker.

This mod comes with a fully built FOMOD containing installation options for all of the different versions of Autumngate and the optional add-ons.  If you're installing manually or just don't want to use the FOMOD, be sure to choose only one of the main versions of the mod (Standard, Forge, RC, or RC Forge), and the corresponding add-on files (*Mod Version Name* - Addon - *Add-on Name*) if you want them.

If you choose to install the Purchasable House add-on (it's recommended!), you'll need to play/wait at least 24 in-game hours before talking to Wilhem or the dialogue won't appear. Alternatively, you can just quicksave and reload and the dialogue will appear.

Autumngate was meticulously edited and cleaned using SSEEdit and should be compatible with anything that doesn't alter the immediate area that the house and dock are located (the images for this mod page show the exact location).  Because it sits on the intersection of 4 cells, it's possible it will have navmesh conflicts with any mods that edit navmeshes on the southeastern side of Ivarstead.  Personally, I've tested it with JK's Skyrim and the Great Town of Ivarstead and noticed only minor navmesh issues (one of the town docks loses it's navmesh). I'd eventually like to have patches for these mods just to have everything at 100%.

This mod doesn't rely on any other mods and only contains simple edits to exterior cells and a single interior one, so it's fully compatible with both SE and AE.

The Purchasable House add-on just adds (voiced) dialogue to Wilhelm (Vilemyr Inn, Ivarstead), so it should be compatible with anything that doesn't severely alter that NPC.

Due to the nature of ESL flagged plugins, it's not recommended that any patches are made that alter the interior cell this mod adds. If there's any need for interior bug fixes/patches, I'll work on updating the main ESL files.

Confirmed compatibilities with mods in the general area:
Artifacts - The Tournament of the Ten Bloods - Thanks to Bloosuga on Reddit for testing
Lux, as of Autumngate v1.01 - Thanks again to Bloosuga for testing
Interesting NPCs SE (3DNPC), as this mod does not alter Gorr's camp

Mods with provided compatibility patches in the Patch Collection on this mod page:
Kaidan 2 - Fixes landscape and navmesh conflicts

Mods with compatibility patches provided by other modders:
Northern Roads - Patch can be found here, thanks to AlaxoucheModding!

Note:  This mod does nothing but add the player house Autumngate to the game. The quality of the screenshots on this page are due largely to the other mods I'm using, which I definitely endorse, and will list below!
