In vanilla Skyrim the guards assigned to the jails are not meaningfully differentiated from the rest of a hold's guards. This mod makes some tweaks to the Jailors and Turnkeys of Skyrim to help make the cast of guards you encounter feel a little more varied.

• They have leveled item sets that do not have ranged weapons, since bows would be of little use indoors.
• They have been renamed from <hold> Guard to <hold> Jailor.
• The unfortunate jailors of Morthal did not have the keys to their own prison, now they do.
• If the Stormcloaks or Imperials capture a hold the new jailors will be accounted for and the soldiers assigned to the jails will have job titles. The Imperial Head Jailor in Riften will wear officer armor.
• The Redoran Guard in Raven Rock's jail is not forgotten, and he too gets a fancy new job title.

Can be considered part of the same "suite" as The Jarl's Household Guard, Imperial Honor Guard, The Redoran Council Guard, and Civil War Officer Corps.

Compatibility

This mod:

• Creates 3 leveled item sets. These are identical to existing vanilla guard item sets except that they have had ranged weapons removed.
• Creates 1 outfit. This is the outfit necessary to give officer armor to the Imperial Head Jailor who is in Riften if the Imperials control the city.
• Edits 19 NPCs. These edits are changes to names and equipment and should be otherwise identical to the vanilla counterparts.
