This is primarily a
She's one of the GORGEOUSSS creators and VAs for Katana - Journey in the Shadows, alongside with Kat (who is also a dear friend ofc!), which is a follower mod that I highly highly highly recommend trying out!
- ✨ Though, I do not recommend it to anyone who is way too into their 'Skyrim virtual reality life' and sees themselves as a Gary Sue- and starts crying 'cause fictional women aren't into you oops! ✨

Over the year I've met some really wonderful people on here that didn't always fit that pessimistic online critter persona!
This was really all thanks to SerketHetyt and Anna, and the overall Affinity community -- who welcomed me into a much more cozy community that isn't filled with loud -and just plain hateful individuals all the time!𓏧♡✨

🐦⬛.ೃ࿔ K a t - A n n a (previously 'Katanature') is a NPC replacer mod for the amazing Katana - Journey in the Shadows follower mod by Anna Garcia and KatBKel!
It features custom mash-up hairs using HG Hairdos 2 by lemonbalmtea & KS Hairdos by Kalilies and Stealthic, with main textures from SC- KS Hairdos Retextured by ShinglesCat!
Each NPC also has custom skins based on BnP Female Skin by Fridam & Khisartin (+ along with a modified base of their Scars Retexture) + BnP Male Skin (I think it was an older version?..) by Fridam and Enroys!
An extra thanks to SerketHetyt to give me some pointers!

I've also made standalone custom armors for each follower (Katana | Megara | Shale), which I've mashed-up by using base assets from other wonderful armor mods!
They're all based on CBBE / CBBE 3BA bodies and HIMBO, however -- I've included zero-sliders preset meshes already, in case you do not use Bodyslides!
- The armors are not playable and won't be released for player characters (unless I change my mind and do indeed make them playable, which MIGHT happen... or not...)
+ (and no, you can't take these assets out and upload it as standalone sorry)!

Katana's design is also a reference to 'Lapu-Lapu' (main inspo from this really great Lapu-Lapu art),
the first national hero in Filipino history! (PHILIPPINES MENTIOOON RAAAAH!! 🇵🇭)
I thought the symbol of 'resilience, resistance, and the power of community' fit Katana pretty well in this sense! Also, need that Filipino rep for the Voice Actress raaah! 🇵🇭Spoiler:Show

FOMOD Options - Few options to choose from!
𖤍 Armor Replacer or No Armor Replacer
𖤍 Headband or No Headband for Katana
The custom skins are technically based on CBBE and HIMBO (or just this). I never had much issues with using BnP Male Skin with vanilla male bodies - though there might be a small seam between the neck and head.
As for females, using a UNP body or something else will probably mess up the textures I think. The mod doesn't come with custom bodies, only custom textures. They should be using your default bodies (you can download the optional file to try alleviate those compatibility issues!)
! Keep in mind that the custom armor generated (if you downloaded the custom armor) are based on HIMBO and CBBE, so the skin textures would be fine as it is I think. Unless you plan to dress them down (that's.. ok..?) or give them armors that exposes e.g., neck, arms or whatever, you might have some weird texture issues happening.
I don't rly tailor stuff to others, besides my own list so uh sorry!
Also, I don't use RSV, and I don't know how to make a patch for it. Here is the article they have referred to on their page though.
! I don't use any pp mods, and I really cannot be ahhed to include SOS stuff. I don't know how it works, and have no interest in it either. Do whatever you want though for personal use.
The plugin was created in SSEEDIT (CK hates me atm) and is ESL.
Note: I created this replacer in an older SSEEdit version, which still generates v.1.70 plugins, and it should work regardless of the new update.

Any other Katana NPC replacer that replaces the same NPCs - incompatible unless you overwrite!
Any version below 3.0+ of Katana - Journey in the Shadows - INCOMPATIBLE and SHOULD NOT be used (you're missing out + older versions aren't what the mod is today).
1. ⚠️ When in doubt -- please read this article that I've specifically written for potential issues with + questions about NPC replacers ⋆˙⟡♡
- I don't have the time nor the energy to deal with Nexus comments anymore AND forever lolol.

Small FAQ to users who tend to go straight to the comments section instead of actually reading stuff:
* 'But how do I know the mod is working?'
- Why don't you test it yourself? You're literally modding Skyrim, I will assume you have all the time in the world! 🤔
+ The pictures from other people should work as proof already that it should work just fine. I also send my mods to a few close friends to test before anything.
* 'Actually it doesn't work on mine'
- That's what the article is for! 🔥 (ꐦㅍ _ㅍ)
* 'But I don't like to read-'
- That sounds more like a you problem more than anything! 😫
* 'I use a mod that needs a patch for your replacers and I want to ask about it'
- Ahhh this is a question that I'm sad to not be able to consult in the comments anymore. Usually I make patches for my own load order, which should cover some bigger mods. However, if there aren't any- remember that you can very much publish plugin patches yourself if needed.

2. ⚠️ ENB Setups & Reshaders look different for everyone! ⋆˙⟡♡
As with most NPC replacers, the NPCs will always look different for everyone - considering ENBs and shaders!
- The hairs may look too shiny in some ENBs if your [Imagespace] and / or [Wetsurfaces] have high values for certain parameters.
- Sometimes, they don't always look so great/ I might have catfished you, but not really ❤️
3. ⚠️ No presets ⋆˙⟡♡
Seriously. Stop asking -- the world doesn't revolve around your MC AHAHHA.
- If I wanted to release their presets, then I probably would have already!
- Also stop with the 'if you posted it online, then it's anyone's' or 'if you didn't want people to copy, then you shouldn't have posted it' 'mindset'. Like listen to yourself AHHAHA. I can't stop (and frankly have no interest) whatever nasty agenda some people have, but I know that in the real world, that mindset really doesn't work very well (and gets you in trouble over time tbf) and I advise that you grow up and take no for an answer ( ˘ ³˘)💋
It's a decade old game you're modding, it's really not that deep to be told no.
My ENB is a tweaked mix with a personal reshade preset of:Cabbage ENB for NAT 3 Weather (latest version) and
Silent Horizon 2 New Dawn for NAT by Kistuune (patreon atm)
❌Please do not upload the mod as a standalone - both publicly and privately.
❌You are not allowed to use/modify them and their assets, outside of this mod and/or upload it as your own - both publicly and privately.
+ ❌As for modlists in this sense, please do not use a tool / method to convert the assets within this mod onto other NPCs / replacers, thank
you <3 I don't benefit from publishing mods overall -- download counts etc. aren't really anything to 'pay back' for, so please leave my mod out or just include it as it is :)
❌You do not have permission to include any of my mods and/or assets in 'modpacks' or similar (especially not allowed in uploading it on external sites and/or earn money from it yikez!).
❌Please do not include any of my mods in paid modlists.
❌You are not allowed to port any of my NPC replacer mods to Xbox or other platforms -- and that is mainly due to the various- and abundance of permission rules for the assets I've used. I'd like to respect them, and so should anyone who is thinking of porting similar mods.
❌I don't give permission to publish skypatcher versions of switching faces to other NPCs (even if my mod is required). -- Do it for personal private use if you want though!
❌You're not allowed to patch my replacer with any type of 'AI mod' of Katana.
It's actually super sketchy behaviour to rip apart custom mods you haven't created yourself+ do not have perms for and replace it with purely AI ngl lmao.
