Witcher 3 first person mod

Installation
  • Install ASI Loader
    How: copy dinput8.dll to bin\x64 and bin\x64_dx12
    dinput8.dll must be placed near witcher3.exe
  • Install GFP ASI
    How: unpack to game dir
    GFP.asi must be placed near witcher3.exe
  • Install Shared Imports
  • Install GFP modules with TW3MM
    Minimal suggested install: Camera, Combat, Less Spins, Strafe, Shadows, Animations Geralt, Fix Rain Distant Mist
  • Merge scripts with Script Merger
  • Never press Reset to Default in Key Bindings menu

Allows Camera module to achieve perfect camera accuracy
Disables hiding of NPCs close to camera

Manual targeting in FP
Hold 'Modify Attack Distance' to attack far
Unblocks aiming on boat in FP
Optional:

• Normal stance in combat: can run and toggle walk/run in combat
Note: You may need to unbind 'Toggle Walk/Run' (click middle mouse button), then set key again

GFP Less Spins
Disables most spin attack animations in first person
Less clipping, less covering the view

GFP Strafe
Strafing and player rotation with camera in first person
Makes movement more 'arcady'
Can be enabled/disabled in mod menu
Hold 'Look Around' to temporarily disable rotation with camera

GFP Shadows
Modifies ALL item entities: disables dissolve effect, enables shadows when item is hidden
HairWorks for Geralt's hair is disabled
Not compatible with Geralt head, hair and item mods

GFP Shadows Torch
Adds shadow to torch

GFP Shadows ASI (1.32 only)
Experimental alternative to GFP Shadows
Disables dissolve effect, enables shadows when component is hidden, for ALL 'drawable components', not only items

GFP Animations Geralt/Ciri (NEW)
Stabilization, 'centering', less clipping
Not suitable for 3rd person

GFP Animations Torch
Hold torch more to the left, farther from camera (when walking/running)

GFP Fix Rain Distant Mist (NEW)
Fixes vanilla bug where rain distant mist is mistakenly affected by 'external forces' like Aard or your boat
This bug is accidentally not noticeable in TP but very noticeable in FP

GFP Jump Roll
Separate Jump and Roll keys (for keyboard), both in and out of combat
Hold Modify Attack Type (Shift by default) to modify Dodge to Roll
WARNING: Unbind Jump and Roll keys (click middle mouse button), then set key for Jump (and optionally separate key for Roll)

GFP Parry Senses
Separate Parry and Senses keys (for keyboard), both in and out of combat
Additional feature: if Enemy Health Bar is disabled in settings, using senses temporarily enables it
WARNING: Unbind Parry and Witcher Senses keys (click middle mouse button), then set again 2 separate keys for Parry and Witcher Senses

GFP Disable Special Quen/Yrden Effect
Disables special Quen/Yrden effect (from Ursine/Griffin set)
Special Quen/Yrden effect can obscure the view in first person

GFP No Double Tap To Dodge
Disables 'double tap movement to dodge'

GFP Sword Hint
Repurposes Next-Gen sword oil slots
Icon means sword in hand, no icon - not in hand
Only for keyboard
Ported to Old-Gen too
Additionally fixes usable item input hint not showing for keyboard
WARNING: UI mod, make sure there are no conflicts

GFP Mouse Wheel Walk Speed
Mouse wheel toggles between 2 walk speeds
May be not compatible with mods related to movement
Note: you should unbind 'Toggle Between Signs' (click middle mouse button) in Key Bindings menu

GFP Run On Boat
Can run, walk fast and jump normally on boats

GFP Responsive Walk Toggle
Can toggle walk during stopping animation
Sprinting toggles walk off

GFP Disable Jump To Water
Disables jump to water animation. Useful for more predictable movement.

GFP No Bash Counter
Disables shoulder counter in first person, leaves only leg kick

GFP Dont Push Me
Geralt won't step away when pushed by NPCs in first person

GFP Slide
Disables sliding, adds Slide key
Can be enabled/disabled in mod menu


Known issues:
In rare cases it is very hard to interact with some objects in FP (like some quest doors, clues)
In such case try to look higher or temporarily switch to TP
