The Grass Your Mother Warned You About - On Hold Notes: Permission on this one is 50/50. It's using Textures from multiple Grass mods, and truthfully I got a little to lazy to send a PM to 3 different Mod Authors just to make one patch. Might do in the future.
Depth of Skyrim - On hold Notes: I don't think i'll make a patch for this as i don't see it benefit much from complex grass, however, might play around with this in the future.
For the Mod Authors feel free to upload the patch to your page. I'm just happy to provide with the resources and i know a lot of you don't have time to do this (irl goes first).
I've ran into an issue while trying the verdant textures. There's this one texture which i can't figure out so makes it incredibly hard to fix. I have about 400 textures to go through just to find that one. So i'm going to upload it as defect, and ask you for help finding this son of a bug. (for some reason i can't target it with more informative console. Strike that, i've fixed it. Verdant hasn't been fully tested though.
Thank you for your hard work and massive undertaking on this. I wanted to also add to the requests before for Origins Of Forest - 3D Forest Grass. I use this in conjunction with Folkvangr + Folkvangr Summer Tundra to create (obviously my opinion) the most realistic looking forest / grass areas in the game.
I would love for this to work with complex Grass as well. See it is not on your list, wondering if there is a reason?

Any chance for you including Fantastic Grasses in your list? It has an Skyrim SE option in the files. I've been using it together with Origins of Forest and I really like it.
Can I suggest The Grass Must Grow ( https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/45266 )? Yeah, it's a compendium of other grass mods, but so technically are a few others on the list.
Uhhh, this is big stuff. So if I use Northern Cathedral Regional Grass, I can simply download your patches for the mods which it combines and that's it?

ye babmer gave me permission a while ago so it's all green. Sorry I just haven't gotten around to it yet, i processed over 1000 foliage textures in a span of 2 weeks, and i ended up getting burned out. I also made a mistake with all the normal and specular maps which i'm slowly working on right now.
No worries. The grass must grow includes a lot of grass types of cathedral landscapes, in addition to some grasses by Mari, 3d pine grass and other sources. a lot of the grass textures in both Folkvangr and included in grass must grow aren't actually actively used in game as the mod was quite wip with experimentation for awhile. But I am happy where it's at now!
Thanks for all the hard work! Just wanted to second Grass and Ground Overhaul SE by Velanimus, seriously underrated grass mod. A patch would be extremely appreciated!
are we suppose to enable this before texgen? or just enable it after all LOD gen is done, because im getting really dark grass. not sure which step im messing up. using step guide texgen settings.

I've noticed that it's really hard to get the brightness to match, especially in the tundra. Even STEP 2.3 and the work-in-progress 2.4 differ in their grass LOD settings because of this.
Also make sure complex grass support is enabled in ENB (or whatever the equivalent Community Shaders feature is if you're using that instead), because otherwise close crass will look dark.
I took a long break from modding due to IRL stuff, trying to get into it again so i can fix the issues and get more patches out. Not gonna lie, it's gonna take a while, just letting you all know i don't ignore you and the bug reports. And thanks for the kind support and love, appreciate it a lot.
I just want to make sure I have this right. If I install Cathedral Landscapes for ENB Complex Grass, Cathedral Landscapes, and Community Shaders, then I'll have complex grass enabled, right? No ENB required?

Now all I have to do is find a way to keep the weather from making grasses too bright in evenings and nights :-/
