Overview

The Elder Scrolls Legends - Loading Screens is a fantastic mod! Still, after using it for a while, I noticed several things that I didn't quite like about it. Some of these things include simple typos, messages/artwork choices, a limited number of loading screens (especially with the 100% frequency option), lack of addons to incorporate loading screens added by other mods, etc.

This mod aims to fix all of those things! If you want to see actual examples of what I'm talking about, take a look at the Images tab to see exactly what this mod changes and adds onto Jampi0n's original mod. Make no mistake - his mod is by no means obsolete. It is still being updated. However, I figure a decent amount of other users would like to incorporate the changes I've made to it into their own game. I will also modify the contents of this mod to accommodate any changes made by the original author, so as not to be redundant.

Contains addons for: Apocalypse - Magic of Skyrim, Imperious - Races of Skyrim, Aetherius - A Race Overhaul, Sacrosanct - Vampires of Skyrim, Legacy - A Race Overhaul, Thunderchild - Epic Shouts and Immersion, Legacy of the Dragonborn, Wildcat - Combat of Skyrim

This is NOT a replacer for The Elder Scrolls Legends - Loading Screens. If you want the 56 loading screens offered by the original mod, you must install it!

Tweaks (TESL-LS-Tweaks.esp)BEFORE / AFTER

This plugin tweaks 23 loading screens of the original mod. Fixes typos, changes a bit of artwork and a few messages, basic stuff really.

Requires The Elder Scrolls Legends - Loading Screens

Vanilla LS Remover (TESL-LS-VanillaLSRemover.esp)BEFORE / AFTER

If you choose the 100% frequency option, unconditional loading screens will no longer be used. The idea of the 100% option is to completely replace vanilla screens. However, not all vanilla screens are unconditional. Meaning, plenty of ugly vanilla screens will seep through due to conditions that can become valid pretty easily and pretty often, even if you have a 100% frequency set for the TESL screens. The Vanilla LS Remover goes back and fixes this by setting all vanilla loading screens to have conditions that should almost never be valid. Basically, use this only if you select the 100% frequency option in the installer.

Main Addon (TESL-LS-AddonMain.esp) - Adds 51 new loading screens! No requirements. BEFORE / AFTER / NEW

As for other mods - if they implement unconditional loading screens, they will never show up when using the 100% frequency option. The loading screens of Apocalypse, Imperious, Aetherius, Legacy, Thunderchild, and Wildcat are all unconditional. So, they'll never show up if you don't use the addons for those mods (part of why they exist isn't just for the artwork but so you can see them again!)

Apocalypse - Magic of Skyrim Addon - TESL'ifies 5 loading screens from Apocalypse - Magic of Skyrim and changes their conditions appropriately so they may appear alongside other TESL loading screens. BEFORE / AFTER

Imperious - Races of Skyrim Addon - TESL'ifies 10 loading screens from Imperious - Races of Skyrim, changes their conditions appropriately so they may appear alongside other TESL loading screens, and patches 10 loading screens from the Main Addon. BEFORE / AFTER

Aetherius - A Race Overhaul Addon - Patches 10 loading screens from the Main Addon.BEFORE / AFTER

Sacrosanct - Vampires of Skyrim Addon
- TESL'ifies 1 loading screen from Sacrosanct - Vampires of Skyrim and patches 5 loading screens from the Main Addon.BEFORE / AFTER

Legacy - A Race Overhaul Addon - TESL'ifies 10 loading screens from Legacy - A Race Overhaul, changes their conditions appropriately so they may appear alongside other TESL loading screens, and patches 10 loading screens from the Main Addon. (Same artwork as Imperious & Aetherius)

Thunderchild - Epic Shouts and Immersion Addon - TESL'ifies 5 loading screens from Thunderchild - Epic Shouts and Immersion and changes their conditions appropriately so they have an equal chance of appearing alongside the other TESL loading screens BEFORE / AFTER

Legacy of the Dragonborn Addon - TESL'ifies 11 loading screens from Legacy of the Dragonborn. BEFORE / AFTER

Wildcat - Combat of Skyrim Addon
- TESL'ifies 16 loading screens from Wildcat - Combat of Skyrim and changes their conditions appropriately so they may appear alongside other TESL loading screens.BEFORE / AFTER

All plugins are ESL-flagged, so as not to take up that sweet, sweet space in your load order

Recommended Mods

Loading Screen Smoke Removed to get rid of the main/loading menu fog. Alternatively, Main Menu Snow SSE if you want snow instead
The Elder Scrolls Legends - Loading Screens I know. Crazy that I'm recommending this one, right
Complete Widescreen Fix for 21:9 aspect ratio users.
Sovngarde - A Nordic Font for the gorgeous font that's used in the preview images

If you use Complete Widescreen Fix, I recommend removing the following two lines from that mod's .ini

fUIMistMenu_CameraFOV_G=100
fUIAltLogoModel_TranslateX_G=15

If you don't, artworks might not be fullscreen, even if you select the 21:9 option in this mod!
