    Version 3 of Enhanced Solitude is under development! New features include

    an MCM with multiple options... that will reduce drawcalls and improve performance.

    Alpha 3.1 has about 2/3rd of the MCM setup.
    That includes -  the Rookery, Red Flags, Golden Hen, Proudspire, Bathouse, BP Courtyard, Copper Dragon Brewery, The Imperial Physician, Divine Octavo, Exterior Terrain, Flora, College Of Whispers, Cake O Clock Bakery, Books Of Skyrim, Blacksmiths and some others probably.

    do not enable Occ_Skyrim-Enhanced_Solitude-patch, as that will re-enable the dissapearing walls

    I may have solved the giant Bard's College hole issue! I have been trying for... a really long time to fix it.

    The Bards College was mostly missing from the outside, but was fine on the inside (with JK's Bards College). There was a giant hole on the outside where the college should be with some parts of the building still floating there. People were falling through the hole.

    There are many posts going back thru last year, in these comments and on other mod pages, with the same problem. Some even claim they solved it, but I couldn't figure it out. Many say to install JK Bard's College, but I already had it, and still had the issue.

    First, I have no idea how much of this post is helping or hurting. It is what I ended up with, but while I did a lot of trial and error, when I got it working, I mostly stopped where I was. I hope people can correct any mod/load order improvements because I have other problems in Solitude I will mention below.

    I have Occ_Skyrim-Enhanced_Solitude_patch.esp from eFPS - Official Patch Hub.
    I have the JKs Bards College - Enhanced Solitude Patch.esp from JK's Guild HQ Interiors Patch Collection.

    Notes:
    I don't have JK"s Skyrim or any Solitude Docks mods, for better or worse. 
    This is on an early game, then on a new game.
    Current game version: v.1.6.640.
    Pretty beefy computer.

    Here is what I did that finally worked.

    I reinstalled JK's Bard's College and extracted the BSA (though that maybe did not make a difference). 

    Then I finally realized there are TWO Enhanced Solitude/JK's Bards College .ESP's! One from the Enhanced Solitude page and one from JK's Guild HQ Interiors Patch Collection! I ended up moving the JK's Guild ESP patch down under the Enhanced Solitude ESP patch. I did not try the other way (with the other one lowerest) 'cause in testing it just worked.

    No more hole and Bard's College is there after being missing for 6 months!

    Can anyone give advice on the mods/load order I have? Other problems I have:

    - The newer area added by Enhanced Solitude North-West of Proudspire Manor: It looks like a hole/nothingness until you get close, then that whole district suddenly pops in.

    - Nature of the Wild Lands (NotWL): the patches I have seen may not be enough. I have plants clipping through a lot of places.

    - Also in testing I had guards literally doing swimming animation through the air (!). I think that is gone now (I hope).

    Finally, I gotta say:

    kojak747! Enhanced Solitude is unreal! Simply breathtaking! The scope is so daring that of course there are some issues. I hope you can bring yourself to finish your version 3.x Thank you for this giant puzzle of an overhaul! If you want me to edit any of this I will.

    And I hope this post helps somebody.

    I have flickers on windows. BluePalaceTerrace-EnhancedSolitude-Patch.esp is the last thing overwrites those meshes.

    I wish we had an AIO patch FOMOD. I have ES BPT LoTD and BPT LOSII Patch. Two patches for BPT. Is this ok?

      yea we deffinitely need a aio patch fomod im running Oc lotd and i had to get es and btp just so i can get patches for the lotd and opencities. i had to get literaly a dozen patches and everything is working and looks good from inside the walls but when u follow along the wall its a dam mess. the blue palace is flickering with different textures and the house in front of is and the courtyard its like i have two different castles installed idk where from tho or maybe if theres i patch i have that i dont need idk cuz i have so many dam patches for es

    Hi all. Firstly I gotta say I love the mod its by far the best solitude overhaul out there however I've run into an issue with the flicking textures. When I download the patch to resolve the problem it fixes it but unfortunately makes the blue palace and its outer courtyard completely disappear, and I mean there's nothing but a massive hole and some statics floating in the air. I've been using the blue palace terrace, lotd and palace's enhanced plus their compatibility patches. Would appreciate any assistance, thanks.

      I'm here to ask both of you about this. I'm seeing some lanterns and signs just kinda in the air and I'm uncertain why they're just hanging in the air since they are coming from this mod

      When I had the floating lanterns problem, it was because of incompatibilities between lanterns of skyrim, blowing in the wind, and JK's Skyrim. You need to look for patches, or remove them in xEdit.

      You're supposed to run Dyndalod when you install expansions like that and it's supposed to make the lighting and whatever not come in patches.

    I'm trying to install for SE with MO2 and it tells me it's already installed, which it isn't and there's nothing with the same name. It gives me some Dyndalod titled error and won't install the mod extraction failed: 7. I don't even have Dyndalod. I didn't see anywhere on here that you had to have that to install it? Something is really weird. Any help would be appreciated.

    If anyone is having issues with Cyclic rule in LOOT, just revert back to 2.8

    Alpha 3.1 changes some rules with Enhanced Solitude Docks, I'm not sure why.

    Hopefully fixed in future updates.

    I found out that when installing this mod on an on-going save, it works a lot better if you haven't visited Solitude in the past 10 days. That way, the cell is loaded fresh with everything in their ocrrect places.

    Hey I just got this mod and when I enter solitude for the first time it crashes my game. Dose anyone else have this issue??

      You likely have two conflicting mods editing Solitude. I had a CTD every time I entered Mistveil Keep but it turned out I had two different versions of the unofficial patch installed at the same time (the one from the Bethesda app and the one from Nexus), which causes a guaranteed CTD at some locations. Maybe you have something similar going on?
