ReCONSTRUCTS
ArmadA reArmed is the rearmament (get it? Because it's ARMada and I'm re-making it- yknow what nevermind) of the legendary ArmadA mod by MsrSgtShooterPerson. It introduces various fully custom sci-fi freighters into the game. This mod is also a tech demonstrator of NMSDK, the specialized Blender plugin and toolset for creating custom No Man's Sky content!
===[ ARMADA FEATURES ]===
- Adds a variety of new freighters, capital freighters, and small freighters into the galaxy!
- Completely new models and textures created by MsrSgtShooterPerson!
- Freighter with procedural elements including different bows, afts, and wings!
===[ REARMED VANILLA INTEGRATIONS ]===
True to the original ArmadA, reArmed integrates into the vanilla freighter spawning pool rather than replacing it. In addition, for the sake of simplicity and variety, the following changes are made:
- Added non-capital freighters into capital freighter spawn pool
- Removed "seedsafe" version in favour of full integration and to avoid save instability
- Integrated gFreighter and framework for further future integrations
===[ AMUMSS COMPATIBILITY ]===
ArmadA reArmed can be integrated with gFreighter Custom Freighters via the ArmadA Collections AMUMSS lua script:
- Keep "_ArmadA_reArmed.pak" and "gFreighter Custom Freighters [...].pak" inside the MODS folder;
- Download the AMUMSS script;
- Open "ArmadA_Collections.lua";
- Choose a collection of freighters from COLLECTIONS_LIST and put in the collection name(s) in SHIPS_COLLECTION, optionally, put the names of any freighters you want to include under WHITELIST, and names of freighters to exclude under BLACKLIST. The names of freighters can be found in the SHIPS_DATA list (names are in all caps and case-sensitive):
- Optionally, build your own collection in COLLECTIONS_LIST:
- Run BUILDMOD.bat
- Happy times
===[ NON-CAPITAL FREIGHTER SPAWNPOOL CONFIG ]===
ArmadA reArmed's spawnpool of non-capital freighters can be configured by multiplying the likelihood of vanilla spawns (or not including ArmadA freighters at all):
The AMUMSS script can be automated without user input by setting AUTORUN to true and setting each default values manually.
Main File "_ArmadA_reArmed.pak" must be installed regardless of the use of AMUMSS script.
"gFreighter Custom Freighters [...].pak" must be installed with the use of the use of AMUMSS script.
