ReCONSTRUCTS is the reconstruction (get it? Because it's Constructs and I'm re-making it- yknow what nevermind) of the legendary CONSTRUCTS mod by MsrSgtShooterPerson. It introduces various fully custom sci-fi objects into the game, adding mysterious, artificial structures spread across different planets. This mod is also a tech demonstrator of NMSDK, the specialized Blender plugin and toolset for creating custom No Man's Sky content!

  • Adds a variety of objects, sometimes massive, into the game that spawns as part of the world!
  • Completely new models and textures created by MsrSgtShooterPerson!
  • Structures with procedural elements as demonstrated in the procedural spires, procedural towers, and procedural silos!
  • Trade post with functional landing pads and terminals!

===[ RECONSTRUCTS VANILLA INTEGRATIONS ]===
The following vanilla building types have now been integrated with ReCONTRUCTS Constructs:
  • Trading Posts (Construct Trading Post alternative model)
  • Sentinel Hive
  • Crashed Freighter
  • Waypoint
  • Beacon
  • Cargo Depot
  • Planetary Archive

===[ AMUMSS USER INPUT OPTIONS ]===
ReCONSTRUCTS's vanilla integrations can be turned on or off within the AMUMSS BUILDMOD window when the ReCONSTRUCTS lua script is run. ReCONSTRUCTS defaults to deploying all vanilla integrations. This can be turned off entirely, or decided per building type within the AMUMSS script (highlighted in red below):

Note that the Main File _ReConstructs.pak must be installed regardless of the use of AMUMSS script.

As CONSTRUCTS may change the distribution of structures on existing planets, some existing quests may be invalidated requiring you to reset them.
