    Game doesn't crash when installed, yet whenever you call for freighter the waypoint where it is suppose to appear is settled but no freighter comes at it. Also i've done a pirate freighter mission and somewhat the shields of it wouldn't decrease in the radial quest, nor it would progress in any form, maintaning the pirate freighter at 100% shield capacity in the mission hint. Once i've destroyed every single piece that i could from the pirate dreadnaught (the weapons, the shield generator, the back engines) the freighter simply exploded and the radial quest kept as if nothing had happened.

    I guess every mod should be build with AMUMSS but i just discovered that i have to use .pak aswell, gonna try it later.

      It'll work until I say it doesn't. Model replacements break every 4 years and it's nowhere near its time

      I've just compiled the v1.0.2 LUA in AMUMSS v4.3.4.1 (public MBINCompiler 4.64.0.3) and it breaks your freighter.
      You can't no longer access it.

      If you summon it, only the waypoint icon shows up.
      If you teleport to it, you end up floating in space (that's quite funny actually)
      You can't transfer item to and from it because it is out of range

      Would you be willing to revise the LUA for the Orbital update?

      it's not the lua's issue but the entire game files' data structure being changed, the modding tools only got updated today so try the new update (also keep the main download file in MODS folder, as said in the description tab)

      It was just before the big update on may 1st, but I see you posted a new PAK.

      So the v1.0.2 LUA should produce a working PAK with the new versions of AMUMSS, MBIN, etc.

      Your latest PAK works though. 

      Are you sure the LUA still works with the latest AMUMSS version?

      So if I understand correctly, the PAK is all the settings and you customize via de LUA script?
      I don't use gFreighter Custom Freighters. I can just use the Armade PAK and LUA without it, right?

      I want the most random variety of freighters and no custom ones, do I have to use the LUA?

      the main download pak contains all the model files and is always mandatory if you want to use the mod at all, the lua is for customising the spawn pool and for including gFreighter models in wild spawns (which gFreighter doesn't do natively by design). If you don't know how to use the lua (after reading the description tab) then I don't think there is a point in using it, you can just use the pak as it's generally resistant to updates.

    I have had this mod in my life (and not in my game quite yet) for 10 seconds, and if anything happened to it I would kill everyone in this comment section and then myself. This is amazing, like Ships of Moar but for freighters, including the fact that it's compatible with gFreighter Custom Freighters the same say Moar is compatible with gShip Custom Ships?

    Coming back I never knew this mod existed until I saw the updates for it. 
    It's an amazing mod. I love the designs and patterns of the ships. While I could always use more color varieties, I still love these as is.
    The style on some of them reminds me of sci-fi tech of the late 70s and early 80s... kind of back when there was that explosion of stuff from Japanimation of the time to Battletech, Robotech, and other sci-fi RPGs, novel art, and franchises of that time period. 
    Love the way they look.

    My only gripe... when summoning the freighter, especially a huge capitol ship like the city ships, I have to be pratically stopped (0-10u speed) or I crash right into the freighter when it is summoned (its put RIGHT in your face a like 10-20u in front of you). If there is a way to increase that range of where it is summoned or some temporary invulnerability when it does, that would be the only thing. Other than that it's perfect.

      The ArmadA reArmed freighters use vanilla freighter colour palettes, so you can just use a colour mod that expands that palette, if there is one. Not sure if there's a way to further the summon position, tho

    hey winder my game seems to crash every few hyper jumps, would like some help with resolving this issue since this mod is awesome and would be a shame to play without

      ive tried running it by itself and it just ends up making all the freighters invisible  and still crashes

      read PAIN linked in sticky and provide relevant screenshots and information. If your freighters are invisible it's possible you used the lua but didn't keep the main download file

      It's a capital freighter only option so it's rarer. You can customise your spawn pool via the AMUMSS lua script

    Er.. Possible to get a version without checkerboard paint?  They look great, I'm sure both would be popular.

      I can't cos that'd be too much work for my liking, but you reminded me I have an update that adds non-checkboard proc option into the spawn pool that I just never uploaded because I was too busy with my new job. I'll prolly do that in a bit if I don't forgor that again

    A mod like this has been desperately needed for a while to add some variety to the freighters and these are some damn good models. That city one is a must have and is such a gorgeous view. I only wish the city was real and in some way viable to use.
    Question: Will you be changing the derelicts or planetside freighter wrecks with these new models or other custom models? (Really hoping so *wink wink*)
    Question2: Will you be adding any new models for the frigates in the game as well?

      This is really just a revival and improvement of the original mod, so I'm not planning to add anything more to it

    Hi WinderTP, just curious, what is the deal with the black-and-white checkerboard effect on most of the freighters? 

    I just purchased a color for my freighter, Purple, and set it to that color in the customise menu but the checkerboard effect is still on the ship, except now the white squares have turned a browny-green instead of purple.

      I thought maybe it was a bug or compatibility issue but I noticed it's included in a lot of your screenshots so I'm thinking that maybe it's a design, but as it seems to clash with the vanilla colors by not applying them correctly, now I'm not sure, lol

      The checkerboarding is part of the texture, don't ask me why MSSP made it look this way. I may look into proc texture so they can have a chance to not have it but I'm busy getting into my new job so don't count on it for the moment
