My casino was already opened and I don't seem to be noticing any changes, for example there is still no bartender.

Can't see s#*! lmao. Also the mod doesn't add or move stains and such so it is most likely like this in vanilla, that stuff is low priority, there is a lot of floating textures in the game and checking them one by one would take some time.

Some lights look to be on, but aren't casting light. I recommend having more light in the environment before opening, as I was a bit put off by the decreased gamma. I feel similarly about "dark nights" mode on atmosphere/weather mods, where the gamma is just gone. Note: Am using Simple Interior Lighting. Another edit: I notice you have AO enabled. I have never gotten AO to work in older games. AMD?

What you see in the screenshots is vanilla, just vanilla, no lighting mods or whatever.

Perhaps bump the reward on the SMG up to 1000 chips? It's real strange that it's so undervalued by the mod.

Primm Slim is the only one in town who gives a s#*! about the display, do you really expect a robot to give 1000 chips to some rando who found a gun? Be glad you get a reward in the first place lol. Gun + Hats = 300 chips which is pretty fair compared to Vanilla rewards and making money in that game is easy, people who return the items don't do it for the money.

It's not the robot's gun. The robot is a Protectron for the Casino. It makes sense to think the chips are coming from... the Casino, and that they would in fact put a bit more value on it than a measly 100 chips. As for the hats, I feel those could remain as they are. Remember, it's a wasteland and frilly accoutrements aren't as attractive as weapons. That all said, it's a small suggestion. A small tweak. This isn't an insult to your creation. 300 chips for the gun sounds balanced to me. Hell, you could go above and beyond even - add an AI generated set of voice lines coupled with a skill check to get a greater reward. But, that's hopium.

Think I'm getting issues from the latest version of this: Double placements of objects on the walls in the little room to the back of the casino. Also something seems to be wrong with the roombounds or occlusion? There are invisible walls of fog/light in front of the doors to the two rooms that attach to the main casino ( the one in the back and the one to the right side.) I didn't see any conflicts with the cell in xedit so the roombounds thing may be related to something else.

I'd say definitely a conflict, in the first pic there's the pool table which is added when the casino opens but there's also the rubbles which are removed, both can't be visible at the same time (same with the posters on the walls) so something must be messing with these objects or the enable parent. In xEdit make sure to right click and select "Apply filter to show conflicts", it's also possible that a mod is messing with those by script (which you won't see in xEdit), so tell me which mods you have that might be affecting the Vikki and Vance.

Most objects in the casino are linked to an Enable Parent which is PrimmVikkiVanceCasinoEnabler, basically when that reference is enabled all other references linked to it are enabled as well and those linked "as opposite" are disabled, and vice versa. PrimmVikkiVanceCasinoEnabler is enabled by default then once the casino opens it is disabled, disabling with it all rubbles, trash and stuff and enabling the new stuff. A mod must be overwrite VVI's change and remove the Enable Parent from certain objects.

As for the roombound issue, I once tried to make some to optimize the place but the difference wasn't huge (the lights were the biggest FPS eater) so I got rid of them, therefore this mod doesn't touch roombounds.

Edit: Got it working as intended. Deleted the cell records from Misc. Gameplay Merge that concerned Vikki and Vance. As well as the dialog conflicts. I'm guessing the option to return Vance's gun from that was throwing everything out of order but it's weird because the cell records weren't conflicting. Oh well. Thanks for the info. Glad it was on my end only.

Weird indeed, I checked both mods in xEdit and I don't see how these conflicts can cause such issue but I'm glad you got it working. BTW since both mods are ESM have you tried placing Misc. Gameplay Merge above Vikki and Vance Improvements in your load order (right tab for MO2)? That way Vikki and Vance Improvements, being loaded after will win all conflicts and deleting records shouldn't be necessary.

Yeah I had this mod below it in the load order in MO2. Really mind boggling. Might have been the door edits from Misc Gameplay Merge too come to think about it (as far as the occlusion/fog in the doorways). Oh well. Definitely glad I got it working the improvements are worth it.

Minor conflict with https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/66449 as it blocks off access to the casino suite you get before you get banned for winning too much.

You shouldn't be using that mod anyways as it has a few unresolved issues (e.g., causing save bloat).
