Q why wont the Teleporter Room unlock?
A the first teleporter room is in the Castle Hall and is entered via a Portcullis, the gate opens when the first 2 gold keys have been found
Q how do you get the ornate key?
A at the end of the Underwater Mission the crew ascend stairs back to the Castle. the platform has the 2nd gold key and a tome of water. ascend the stairs from here up to a new beach. find the sandpile on the beach, there is the ornate key!
Q the Wizard on Tomb Level has gone walk about, cant find him!
A Yes, he is often seen from above, but as soon as the crew descend into the Tomb Rooms, he seems determined to descend the adjacent pit down

Magma Golem bug: reminder, when playing against a Magma Golem , be aware that you if you are at a higher level than the Magma Golem, e.g. looking down on it, the Magma Golem will strike up at you, the result is that the game crashes! WIZARD VIRGE MISSION
this mission is actually a Master Key mission, meaning that you should have the master key to do this mission. its a lot easier with the master key as there are FIVE LOCKS that need unlocking.
Hub
Gear
Gold
Tomb
and Ornate locks all need the correct keys OR ... much easier, the Master Key.
If your crew have the five keys above then it is also possible to do it without the master key.
there are 3 routes to the Treasure Level (where Wizards V can be found)
1. from game launch, use the stairs immediately adjacent
2. using the master key
3. not using the master key but in possession of the keys listed above
OK follow these steps, STEP A go to the Castle Teleporter Room. there is a bridge walk w... -
master key__ the ten steps needed
STEP 1. go to the Castle Teleporter Room. there is a bridge walk way over to the Blue Stones, this divides the teleporters into two halves. head to the Southern half of the teleporter room and find the teleporter adjacent to the wall mushrooms, is this teleporter on? YES > the mission is a go, no and the mission cannot proceed!
STEP 2. if you go on that teleporter now, then the mission is theorectically still possible, head South back to the Barracks, you will find the Stone gate is now open BUT the mission is now tremendously hard! delay this and go to Step 3 first, this will lessen the odds against you
STEP 3 . find the Castle Teleporter Room and stay in the Northern half. see some wall candles and Ivy growing up the wall, is the teleporter next to the IVY ON? YE... -
there are four pits on the BEACH, three of which the crew can descend immediately, so let's summarise those 3 pits
Pit 1, the Northern one furthest from the Tower, this is the Recommended first pit down and leads the crew to Tomb Level, where the WESTERN passageway is the next destination (but find a ladder first).
Pit 2 in the CAVE (Eastern) leads the crew down to the Dungeon Basin which is not Recommended for the start of the game, it is a hostile Arena and the crew (at game start) are unlikely to survive.
Pit 3 (southern) takes the crew to the same Dungeon as Pit 2 however, on this one the crew descend to a quite passageway that brings the crew out onto a quiet Cove (or the other end of the passageway to Tomb Level "Spider Chamber").

arguably this is the best start with the most loot to grab straight off, could be the start that gives your crew the best launch
PART 1 so from the off, turn SOUTH to Old City, turn right and immediately turn right AGAIN up stairs to a blue floodlit Castle Arena
PART 2 Assess the Arena and note the blue wall button behind you and the centre trapdoor. Now find the big herder straight ahead, see the floor pressure plate? to the right is a LADDER going up to a ledge, further to the right is a group of 4 Mummies, defeat these and the centre trapdoor unlocks.
PART 3 make sure you have a good look around , there are 3 spiders to slay and all 3 should be slain to make the most of this level.

ADVANCED SUGGESTED PLAY STRATEGY
the ultimate start for this game is in the Ugguardians Den, follow these stages
STAGE 1 on the launch platform position your crew facing EAST
STAGE 2 you see two fiery opponents ahead, on the left fire etherals ob the right Ugguardians
STAGE 3 do not venture close to the Fire Etherals, they will see you and attack
STAGE 4 drop down into the Ugguardians den, it is DARK but you will be able to see nevertheless, head EAST
STAGE 5 on finding the telporter room you see GRATINGS, look for a dagger just outside the Gratings, try and pick it up otherwise keep going EAST to the stairs
STAGE 6 descend the stairs to the pushblocks where it is even darker, but not for a long, a torch is 10 seconds away!
STAGE 7 move North along a passageway, pa... -
SUGGESTED PLAY STRATEGYthis is simply a suggestion, there are multiple ways to go in this dungeon, this is just one of them!STEP 1 : you begin the game on the Ball Platform. look out for the fire etherals, at this stage combat with even one iof them will result in fatalities in your crew
STEP 2 : fire etherals out of sight? OK this is your first decision, do you go for the nearest torch? if so, go up the Eastern Stairs to an ancient Forest, don't enter the forest, just reach for the torch on your left
STEP 3 : if you decided to go for the torch you may have attracted the attention of fire etherals but it could be worth the risk, a torch is not highly essential but would be nice
STEP 4 : either way, return back down to the start. now stand at the SW edge of the platform ... -
Wizard Virge and Power gem (TIP! this mission might best be left to when the crew are strong, skillful and armoured)
Sarco registering could lead to a Wizard Virge and Power gem for your crew, however these ancient Sarcos are powerfully disturbing devices in the dungeon world, the Forces of evil will soon realise what your crew are up to and mount a backlash to stop you. in addition , not all Sarcos should be registered
Register 1001 1001 10
Level 1234 5678 9 (TIP! Level 6 is a forest)
for example, while Level 1 Sarco should be registered. Level 2 should not. Just place an item onto a Sarco to Register, but placing more than 1 item or removing items does not conform with registration and the attempt will fail.

Q where is foraging?
A initially follow the Moat that runs alongside the Blue Stones, this leads to a wood, apart from that find teleporter in Level 4, the first one you see in there on the left, OR solve the jammed trapdoor on Level 5 which goes down to Forest OR find teleporter in Level 7, the one you see in there on the right
Amber story > shipmates on an old Schooner ground on rocks just offshore, they spend a restless night on the beach to awaken to a sight that fills them with terror, an amber hulk is now visible from behind trees, it can only be a Massive Ancient Pyramid of some kind

Q why are there monsters all over the place?
A 3 possibilities, 1 , you're in the middle of a mission and its supposed to be like that 2. you Registered a sarco (especially if you registered the same one more than once) and 3 you selected the Wizards Virge
Q I keep getting lost
A use the Grimrock built in map and use the pen function to mark on your map which Level you are on, spend time exploring levels and adding comments of your own to each map
Q what strategy should be used?
A find gems and essences. The gems lead to the Shaman staff, the essences to Valor Armour Q what is the Wizard Virge Mission?

sadly the Magma Golems Bug is well known amongst LOGII fanatics. in summary, do not engage Magma Golems from a height difference i/e above them, it seems in addition that if multiple Magam Golems are kicking off, this could also result in a computer crash -

1. head to NW stairs on Launch Beach
2. the crew descend there to Flooded
3. ascend the submerged ladder to the 2 wall torches and several Mortars
4. ascend the ladder to the wall
5. on the wall there is a wall button
6. press the button to achieve 4 seconds of nearby teleporter
7. OR skip the button for now, instead jump from the wall and find 5 shuriken and 5 Cannon ball
8 take the 5 cannon balls, return the 5 cannon balls, the teleporter now remains on longer than 4 seconds
9 either way, enter the Teleporter to the long lost Kingdom, the Master Key is there somewhere!
