- Install Transfer settlements.
- Install this blueprint manually or via mod manager.
- Import blueprint in game.
- This installs to blueprint slot 9 by default. If you have that slot already occupied or wish to change it, you can adjust it manually as described below.
If doing it manually:
Unzip the file and drag the '9' folder into your game installation folder under: Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout4\Data\F4SE\Plugins\TransferSettlements\blueprints.
* Each blueprint you have needs to be in a folder of its own number 1, 2, 3 etc. up to 50. Instead of placing the downloaded folder in, if you prefer, you can just open it and place the json file inside into any numbered folder you create.
Note:
No scrapping mods were used. Nor was the workstation touched. All built on existing terrain as is.
Requirements:
Required DLC:
- Automatron
- Far Harbour
- Wasteland Workshop
- Contraptions Workshop
- Vault-Tec Workshop
Essential Mods:
This is the bare minimum. They make up practically all the external shell build and landscaping.
Key mods:
These add the main decorative elements and some build elements.. I use the first 2 so heavily in general that it's probably best to take them.
Optional mods:
These are take it or leave it. Mostly for internal decor. I've used bits and pieces from all. None are critical. Use if you like.

Import stalling?
The import can sometimes get stuck trying to import an object for whatever reason. If this happens you can resolve this way:
1. Open the mod json file in notepad
2. Use Ctrl+f and search for the object code number the game gives you in its error warning
3. You'll see a block of text relating to this object within opening & closing brackets. Delete it & its associated brackets and save. Should resolve the issue.
Missing mod?
I retrospectively tried to remember what was an essential mod, key or optional when doing this description. My recall isn't perfect. If the game tells you there's a mod missing and you want it in, then it will be one listed under "optional" or "key". You find its name by:
1. Open json file in notepad
2. Ctrl+f and search for the object code number the game gives you in its error warning
3. Below the code number look for "plugin name". That is the mod that object belongs to.
