About this mod

Power Armor is now able to absorb and prevent damage. Each armor part will work individually and absorb the damage of the body part it covers. Once the armor parts start to break, you can take damage on the body part that got exposed. Some weapons are also able to penetrate armor and deal damage to the wearer.

What does this mod do?
This mod is a complete rework of Better Power Armor - Redux. The mod has been completely rewritten with the CommonLibF4 and has a much better compatibility with other mods like Shield Framework or DirectHit.

You become a real walking tank. Your power armor will shield you against damage. You won't take any damage, unless your Power Armor parts breaks or you get hit by projectiles, which can penetrate your armor. This is a must have mod for all Power Armor fans!
But be careful, this mod also applies to your enemies! Make sure you also get Game Configuration Menu which allows you to tweak the durability of your power armor and of your enemies power armor.


Armor Penetration is a feature of this mod and can also be configured with MCM.

There are 3 classes of Armor Penetration:

You can add keywords from weapons or the ammo to a FormList within the Bastion.esp to make weapons or ammos penetrate Power Armor

(You can configure the % with MCM)
The basic configuration is as follows:

Low Penetration -   20% of the damage will penetrate and damage the character.
None
(Can be added to the FormList on Bastion.esp - Bastion_FormList_LowPenetration [FLST:FE000001])


Medium Penetration -   40% of the damage will penetrate and damage the character.
Keywords:    WeaponTypeGrenade [KYWD:0010C415] 
(Can be added to the FormList on Bastion.esp - Bastion_FormList_MediumPenetration [FLST:FE000002]) 


High Penetration -         60% of the damage will penetrate and damage the character.
Keywords:    WeaponTypeMissileLauncher [KYWD:0022575B], WeaponTypeFatman [KYWD:0022575C]
Ammos:       
Ammo50Caliber [AMMO:0001F279], Ammo2mmEC [AMMO:0018ABDF]

(Can be added to the FormList on Bastion.esp - Bastion_FormList_HighPenetration [FLST:FE000003]) 


Other resistances can also be configured with MCM
By default, your Power Armor will also shield you against fire, poison, acid and radiation damage, as long as all power armor parts are above 25% durability.


Companions and other special NPCs
Companions(Paladin Danse) and special NPCs like Colter from Nuka World are excluded, as their Power Armor is unbreakable.

adjusted with MCM.

Third Person First Person Aiming
Allows you to switch from third to first person while aiming and switches you back, when you release the aim button.

Better Locational Damage
Most realistic damage overhaul you'll find on the whole nexus. Promised.
Features: Scripted headshots, scripted dismemberment, bleedings, stagger ,stab 
your enemies from behind, Shotgun knockback and more! Balanced melee and
range combat. Settings holotape and MCM available to tweak features to your 
liking or completely disable them!

Game Configuration Menu

Complex Vendors
Known from Skyrim and other games, many vendors are restricted. You can't
sell everything to anyone. This also prevents the player from piling up
currency. This mod applies several restrictions to several NPCs. For
example, a doctor can only buy and sell chem related items. But there
are still some stores, where you can dump everything.
