About this mod

Your Power Armor will now fully absorb the damage of ballistic and laser weapon types.
Each armor part will work individually and absorb the damage of the body part it covers.
When one power armor part breaks, only this body part that was covered will take damage.
Keep your power armor in a good state and it will protect you.

What is Better Power Armor - Redux?
Some people may know Better Power Armor. It's a mod which overhauls the Power Armor and shields you from damage, while all parts of your Power Armor are intact. Unfortunately the mod was flawed and had several issues, which I could not fix. The mod is still available if you prefer to use the old version.

What is new?
The mod has been rebuild. Completely. The damage shielding mechanic is now coded into a F4SE-Plugin, which takes care of most what the mod does.

What is Damage Shielding?
While you wear your Power Armor, the power armor absorbs the damage you take. You won't take any damage, unless your Power Armor parts breaks or you get hit by projectiles, which can penetrate your armor. You become a real walking tank. This mechanic also works for NPCs, including companions.

And what about Armor Penetration?
Armor Penetration is a feature of this mod and can also be configured with MCM.

There are 3 classes of Armor Penetration:
(You can configure the % with MCM)

Low Penetration - 20% of the damage will penetrate and damage the character.
Medium Penetration -40% of the damage will penetrate and damage the character.
High Penetration -         60% of the damage will penetrate and damage the character.

Current configuration, which can be changed with FO4Edit or user-made patches:

Low Penetration Weapons -
[None]

Medium Penetration Weapons -
All weapons with the keyword [WeaponTypeGrenade]

High Penetration Weapons
All weapons with the keywords WeaponTypeMissileLauncher, WeaponTypeFatman
Weapons that use the Ammo-Type .50 or 2mm EC

You can add Ammo or Keywords to those FormLists by yourself easily with FO4Edit!

NPC XY is too strong! What can I do?
If you are struggling with a quest NPC, which you can't kill, because he is too strong, you can also add a keyword( BPAR_Ignore [KYWD:XX002810] ) with FO4Edit to this NPC with a patch. BPAR will then ignore this NPC. BPAR in general will ignore NPCs which wear power armor, that can't be destroyed. For example, Overboss Colter or Paladin Danse.

How does it look like in action?

As you can see, once the armor parts start to break, the player starts to take damage, but only on the parts that have been broken. You can see that in the last gif. They shoot relentlessly but there are still moments, where they don't hit the exposed arm.

Better Explosives Redux overhauls explosives in Fallout 4.

Game Configuration Menu
GCM allows you easily set many game settings without the need of additional ESPs or console commands. It's awesome.

Survival Configuration Menu
Features a brand new eat and drink system, which relies on weight of the item instead of the caps value and allows you to control it. In addition to that, you can tweak many aspects of the survival added features. Like tweaking disease chance, disabling Adrenaline. Choose how long you can maximally sleep on the different bet types. And more.

Complex Vendors
Known from Skyrim and other games, many vendors are restricted. You can't sell everything to anyone. This also prevents the player from piling up currency. This mod applies several restrictions to several NPCs. For example, a doctor can only buy and sell chem related items. But there are still some stores, where you can dump everything.
