About this mod

This mod replaces all ballistic guns with Star Wars style blasters and other energy weapons.

This mod is quite simple: Using the amazing mods found on nexus, I have replace all of the base game ballistic weaponry with Star Wars blasters and other laser based weapons. This requires no leveling list injections, and just replaces the weapons for new laser-based ones for anyone trying to have a Star Wars style playthrough. I tried to make the guns as close to the Fallout 4 equivalents as I could.

A big shout out to jsnider193, who's Star Wars BlasTech Weapons mod is the main base for this mod.

The changes are as follows:

From Star Wars BlasTech Weapons
  • .44 Revolvers - DL-44
  • Pipe Guns - DH-17
  • Bolt-Action Pipe Rifles - CA87 Shock Blaster
  • Pipe Revolver - DT-29
  • Double Action Shotgun - EE-3 Mk1 Carbine
  • Combat Shotgun - TL-21 Heavy Blaster (The only reason I did this is because both the EE-3 and TL-21 use the same ammo types, so I just replaced the shotguns with them)
  • Combat Rifle - Amban Phase-Pulse Blaster
  • Submachine Gun - DLT-19 Heavy Blaster
  • This also replaces the appropriate ammo types so they spawn with the weapons.



These next ones are not Star Wars specific, but fit well with the "no ballistic" weaponry
This next list replaces the DLC weapons from Nuka-World and Far Harbor. There is a version of the mod that omits these for anyone that doesn't have the expansions.

All of the mods listed above are required mods.

This also changes the weapons and ammo for the replacements from the original mods to fit better with the weapons they replace because most of these are very powerful. They still hurt, but now more in-line with the main game.

As far as I know, there should be no EXPLICIT mod conflicts, as in crashes, but it will probably conflict or make useless mods that edit the weapons listed above.
To ensure it works, place it below any mod that edits weapons.

While a new save is NOT a hard requirement, I do recommend it for the changes to take full effect.

Use More Super Mutant Weapon Animations -  This allows Super Mutants to use the new weapons. Not a hard requirement, but if you don't then the super mutants will not use the new weapons.

These are mods I believe will enhance a Star Wars playstyle experience:

Imperial Patrols of the Commonwealth A Faction Replacer - Turns raiders into Stormtroopers
Synth Stormtroopers and Imperial Institute - Turns the Institute into the Empire. (I'd pick this one over the other, but they don't conflict)
Commonwealth Stormtroopers - Needed for Synth Stormtroopers and Imperial Institute
Energy Weapon Replacer - Wattz Laser Gun - Replaces those clunky normal laser rifles with the Watts style, sleeker and more Sci-Fi

Star wars - Galactic Empire Flag - for a more "Empire" world feel

ShieldBoy - Have your own personal (temporary) blaster shield!
Plasma Cycler - A really good Plasma weapon
AQUILA - Laser Rifle - A good laser weapon for a more futuristic look
RB - 13 - Handmade Blaster - A cool rough blaster weapon
H.A.R.M Laser Pistol - Another really cool Sci-fi style laser pistol
Mandalorian Combat Armor Decal - Make the Gunners into Mandalorians, fitting for the Merc faction. Combine this mod with the Stormtrooper Combat Armour Variants and Black bodyglove vault suit (install the Mandalorian Decal after of course) to replace the imperial symbol with the Mandalorian one for a dark combat armor with Mandalorian decal
Tactical Military Equipment (Galac-Tac Redux ) - Gives the gunners armor that's something more Mandalorian. I would have suggested Galac Tac Retribution, because I like that it adds a new, more Mandalorian faction, but that mod requires a weapon mod that doesn't fit in with the style of this mod.

NOTE: I will not be replacing any weapons in the recommended mods, mainly because then they no longer will be recommended and thus required ones! This mod is only replacers for the base and DLC game weapons. There is also a version for those without the Far Harbor or Nuka-World DLCs

If you want a more hardy presence of "Imperial" forces in the commonwealth (used with some of the recommended mods above, obviously) I suggest NPCs Travel and Endless Warfare. They work well to inject random combat between forces in your commonwealth. especially the BOS vs. Institute Synths preset.

There are two optional mods I have added to the download files, one for Imperial Patrols of the Commonwealth A Faction Replacer and one for Synth Stormtroopers and Imperial Institute that lowers and changes the armor rating for the stormtrooper armors they add, making them more acceptable levels.
