Changelogs
This mod is currently compatible with Cyberpunk v1.63 Hotfix 2. The update for 2.0 is in the works, but I will be on the road until the end of September, and I'll be tackling Time Dilation Overhaul before getting to this.

The purpose of this mod is to balance and increase the utility of the three leg cyberware modifications: Fortified Ankles, Reinforced Tendons, and Lynx Paws. In general the default settings are intended to rebalance things without breaking anything. But this mod is highly configurable to your tastes!

All of the settings are configurable through Native Settings UI. If you don’t have Native Settings UI, the modification can still be tweaked via the “userConfig.lua” file in the “/config/” folder. You can enable or disable changes to each cyberware individually.

IMPORTANT NATIVE SETTINGS UI NOTE:
If you tweak settings through Native Settings UI, you will not see the changes in the game until you reload a save.

BASE GAME BUG FIXES:
This mod fixes Aerial Takedowns with the Epic Fortified Ankles (Hover Jump). The base game incorrectly called out the player state to check to allow Aerial Takedowns. If all you want is this fix, you can install this mod and disable all the tweaks to each leg cyberware.

FORTIFIED ANKLES TWEAKS:
This mod contains options to change the following parameters:

  • Hover Jump Height (Epic version)
  • Charge Jump Height (Rare version)
  • Fall Damage Reduction
  • Overall Speed Bonus
  • Extra Sprint Speed Bonus (only applies when sprinting)

The default settings do not change the charge jump height, and increases the hover jump height for the Epic version of this cyberware to match the charge jump height, and adds a small fall damage reduction to the Rare version. The default settings also do not add any speed or sprint bonuses, but the mod provides options for you to add them if you want.

Note: The Epic Fortified Ankles allow you to perform a pseudo-double jump, so the default settings allow you to jump slightly higher than the vanilla charge jump.

REINFORCED TENDONS TWEAKS:
This mod contains options to change the following parameters:

  • First jump height
  • Second jump height
  • The number of Multi-Jumps
  • Fall Damage Reduction
  • Overall Speed Bonus
  • Extra Sprint Speed Bonus (only applies when sprinting)

The default settings change the double jump from being a small first jump and big second jump, to both jumps being about the same size, and adds a small fall damage reduction. The overall jump height is slightly higher than the vanilla overall jump height. The default settings do not change how many times you can jump, just adds the option to change it. The default sprint speed boost is equivalent to one (1) Legendary Zero Drag mod.The default sprint speed boost is equivalent to one (1) Legendary Zero Drag mod. The default settings do not add any overall speed bonus, but provides the option to add it if you want.

LYNX PAWS TWEAKS:
This mod contains options to change the following parameters:

  • Increased jump height
  • Panic Jump Height, Additional Fall Damage Reduction, and Health Threshold
  • Fall Damage Reduction
  • Overall Speed Bonus
  • Extra Sprint Speed Bonus (only applies when sprinting)

The default settings increase jump height to be slightly higher than the default settings for the Reinforced Tendons first jump height, and adds a small fall damage reduction. The default speed boost is equivalent to two (2) Legendary Zero Drag mods. The default settings do not add any extra sprint speed bonuses, but provides the option to add it if you want.

This mod also adds a "Panic Jump" to Lynx Paws (think of a startled cat jumping straight up in the air), and provides additional fall damage reduction for Panic Jumps (don't want a low health player dying because they jumped). This is an additional jump height adder and fall damage reduction that is only active when the player health is below the configurable health threshold. The default settings set the threshold at 25% of player health, and make the overall jump height comparable to the total height for Reinforced Tendons (double jump).

INSTALLATION:
Unpack the zip file into your Cyberpunk 2077 install directory (the "legCybTweaks" folder should end up in the "\bin\x64\plugins\cyber_engine_tweaks\mods\" folder), or install with Vortex.

UN-INSTALLATION:
Delete the "legCybTweaks" folder from the "\bin\x64\plugins\cyber_engine_tweaks\mods\" folder of your Cyberpunk 2077 installation directory, or uninstall with Vortex. Donezo!

COMPATIBILITY:
Lynx Paws Reimagined - If you want to use this mod, disable the tweaks for Lynx Paws in this mod, and then restart your game.

TROUBLESHOOTING:
If you encounter any problems with this mod, the first troubleshooting step should be to verify you have the latest version of Cyber Engine Tweaks installed.
