About this mod
Customize 'farmer' and 'farm' to any title you choose, and replace 'clinic' with 'apothecary'"

I really loved the "Not A Farmer - Job Title Replacer" by drowsyprince and was sad to see that it hasn't been updated or expanded in a while. So, I decided to make my own version! This version follows the structure of "Not Human" by deimonns, with the hope that both mods could be compatible if needed (though I’m not sure how to achieve that at the moment—there are a few dialogues that overlap in both codes, but the rest should work fine if you have both mods installed).
Compatibility
Right now, it is compatible with:
- Vanilla game
- Professor Jasper Thomas
- Nora The Herpetologist - Custom NPC for East Scarp
- Krobus Dialogue Mod Pack for SVE 1.6
- Immersive Sandy
- The Last Smoluanu - A Dwarf Expansion
- Stardew Valley Expanded
- East Scarp
- Always Raining in the Valley
- Creative Differences - NPC Rodney
- Ridgeside Village (RSV)
- Qingfeng - Custom NPC
- Hakan NPC - Furry Wolfman
To-Do List
I'm planning to keep updating it to make it compatible with:
- Canon-Friendly Dialogue Expansion (After Update)
- Lurking in the Dark - NPC Sen (East Scarp)
- Romanceable Rasmodius Redux Revamped(RRRR)(SVE Required)
- Aymeric de Borel - FFXIV (After Update)
- Romanceable Rasmodia - Female Wizard (I want to do both female and male versions at the same time + RRR versions)
This is more like a to-do list of things I know I want to modify. Because as long as NPCs keep calling my Demon Queen a farmer, we’ve gotta keep replacing those words!
If you have any suggestions, let me know in the comments, and I'll do my best to incorporate them.
Not A Clinic
Besides the "Not A Farmer" part of the mod, there's also a "Not A Clinic" option. You can choose to replace the word "clinic" with "apothecary" by enabling the feature in the Generic Configuration Menu. I wanted this option to enhance my fantasy-themed gameplay. If you do too, I recommend these mods that I personally use and enjoy:
How to Use
- Download the required mods.
- Download the file for this mod.
- Place all downloaded files into your mods folder.
- Launch the game and open the Generic Mod Configuration Menu.
- Select the mod by its name, and follow the instructions (visible by hovering over the name of each option).
Bugs, Errors, Mistakes
English is not my first language, so I might have used the wrong prepositions at times. If you see any mistakes like that, or if some dialogue doesn't make sense, is bugged, or anything doesn’t work as it should, please let me know. I’ll do my best to fix it.
Thanks
A big thank you to all the amazing people on the Stardew Valley Discord modding channel who helped me make this mod possible.
