Requirements
Highly Recommended

Overview

  • A straightforward, no-hassle landscape improvement mod
  • Integrates under-utilised assets from DLCs into the wider world of Skyrim
  • Mod replaces the drift wood in the Hjaalmarch salt marshes with mushroom trees
  • Mushroom trees do not provide any alchemy ingredients, and only provide an aesthetic to the swamp area

Compatibility
Highly compatible with most setups, and with most other mods.

Installation and Uninstallation
Use the mod manager of your choice to install. Or manually. To uninstall, remove with mod manager. My understanding is that BOS will not impact save games in any way. Safe to install or uninstall at anytime

Configuration
  • Mod is currently configured to replace all drift wood (CoastDriftWood01, CoastDriftWood02, and CoastDriftWood03) in the Morthal swamp: chanceS(100)
  • Users can adjust the frequency of the replacement by opening the .ini and editing the number in chanceS(100). 0-100. 0=0%, 100=100%, 50=50%. etc.
  • Mod is also currently configured to insert mushroom trees in a range of different sizes between 0.7x of the original (smaller), to 1.6x (bigger) scale(0.7/1.6)
  • Users can adjust the size/scale of the mushroom trees by opening the .ini and editing the numbers in scale(0.7/1.6). When editing the scale, units must be in floats (e.g., 10.0). Overly small mushroom trees (e.g., scale(0.5/1.2) will appear to float above the ground. Don't edit too small, or (a) use a quality grass mod as cover, and/or (b) reposition specific references using Base Object Swapper

Caveats
  • Images are for illustration purposes only
  • Mushroom trees may look different depending on setup (e.g., ENB, weather, etc.)
