Hello everyone, for those who find themselves stuck on some area that doesn't seem to unlock or trigger the quest. I have placed a guide on the DOCS Tab so that you can refer to that note. Also, I took the liberty to write some questions with answers from what I have encountered with my mods. Please take the time to read these before you start asking questions.
1. Can I update mid-playthrough? -yes you can anytime
2. This dungeon is incomplete, and not working? -there are no incomplete dungeons, you must have missed something. Please refer to the DOCS Tab for guidance
3. My head is missing when using this armor -I only use vanilla assets, it's probably some other texture mods you are using that alter the vanilla assets
4. Is this compatible with this xxxx mod? -yes, it will only be incompatible if for some reason the docks I placed on Skyrim and Solstheim conflicted with some other mods
5. This mod is very hard and OP. -yep it is and I'm very sorry about that.
6. Does this have voice lines? -Nope, tedious work for a one-man project
7. Will you make a patch for this xxxx mod? -sorry I can't. Too busy
8. Can I add some xxxx mods to your Island as a patch? nope, you cannot. You need to ask my permission first
9. Will this be on Console? -it will be soon
10. Can I port this to Console? -No, you cannot
11. Too many esp and esm. Why not merge all of your mods into One Giant pack? -Sorry I can't, it's already tedious working with this mod alone. It loads and saves very very slowly. Hope u get the picture.
12. How can I gain entrance into the middle of the island? -Please read the Quest Guide on the DOCS Tab, if you cheat or fly into it. You'll be sorry and met with an empty place
13. Why are there quests so far away? -because this land is meant for exploration, if you are not up to the task then sorry this mod is not for you
14. Why is this door sealed, where is the key? This doesn't make sense. -usually, a door seal is unlockable after you finish the dungeon. Also, there are hidden switches and patience is the key. If you are not patient and always in a hurry. Then sorry this mod is not meant for you.
15. Your Quests are boring and have no sense -sorry I'm no expert or pro game designer. You expect too much from me. But hey at least despite its imperfection, it's a FREE mod.
16. LOD of this land is not great? -sorry I have very limited skill and understanding when it comes to LOD generation. Wish someone would help me on this.
17. This mod sucks, blah blah blah.... -please be considerate, it took me an enormous amount of time and effort to make this mod. If you have nothing nice to say, please move along.

Hello my friends! What better than a wonderful unique reward after finishing a difficult adventure full of dangers. This mod do that, it places the cherry on top of the cake. 48 amazing new weapons so far. Adventure awaits!
These are the total number of dungeons for you to explore in Vominheim and Grimshore Cove. More than in comparison to my Hammet Dungeon Packs. So enjoy discovering and exploring them all. Please do take note that New Vominheim has "No standard normal difficulty dungeons" and there are also no radiant quest enabled dungeons. But v2.09 addresses the very high stats of most bosses and are now reduced to a minimum level but may still be a challenge. Except for Grimshore Cove which currently has two (2) standard difficulty dungeon and are radiant quest.
Standard Difficulty Dungeons Shadow Veil Crypt Fort Helderim
Hello everyone. A new small island has been added to Vominheim. It's location is on another world map of it's own. To travel to this new island you will need to find the book The Gauntlet of Vuldur's Forge. It's location can be found by the following listed below:
-Kolsgarth -encounter with Sea Vipers at a small camp road leading to Sea Breeze Village -encounter with Sea Vipers at a road near Ienar's Tomb
Once you read the book, the quest will start and it will tell you to find Heimlyr Dock. This dock is located west of Alnorn Village. Alnorn is located way up north. You can take a boat at Wakecrest or Whiteshore to travel to this location. Once you are there just head west and find Heimlyr dock and enjoy your travel to Grimshore Cove.
Grimshore Cove currently has two (2) new dungeons. Shadow Veil Crypt - a nordic dungeon north of the island with a standard difficulty setting Fort Helderim - an imperial fortress at the center of the island, home of the Sea Vipers bandit/pirate A Zenithar shrine east of the island
Books about Grimshore Cove and a brief history of it can be found in Magestead. I may have to add a small library soon to consolidate all these books in one location for those who likes to read the history of Vominheim. Thank you all and for the continued support. I am ready to install your mod for the first time. Upon activation in MO2, it appears to be overwriting a script from Vanilla Script micro optimizations (defaultactivateself.pex).

no problem with version 2.22, but if with anyone from now on, it has happened to me with some mods that when using "SSE NIF Optimizer" it gives me a warning that a texture will give me ctd with W7 (yes, my pc is somewhat old...)
Instead of setting this page to hidden, you may consider locking the comments with a note sending users to go back to the original page. I am sure there is a lot of valuable, helpful info in these pages here that could help users...

Seem to be stuck on "A Portal Lost In Time". I picked up the dragon claw, stepped into the ruin, and have been looking around for 30 mins to no avail when the quest says to "investigate Homvir". I have a map objective in the very first room but I can't tell if its for something below me or if something didn't load in or what. Would really appreciate some help as I haven't seen this mentioned anywhere
EDIT: Supposedly theres a journal on a box thats supposed to be there? It is not for my game

Howdy, absolutely love the mod. One of my favorite places to come back to. I am on skyrim vr, i take followers with me (using EFF, usually 3 or so npcs) but on the latest version i have a CTD issue when loading into Fort Helderim. If i tell them wait outside and go in alone, i am fine... but if i go in with them or if i go in alone then use EFF to tell them "follow me", CTD.
Any ideas what might cause this? I've been through almost every dungeon in Vominheim and Merentif (and other pocket realms), but this is the first this is happening. Happened three times in a row today. Crashlogger seems to point to follower body parts and items in the dungeon i assume.
Update March 26- I Took out the last thing i installed... Which was "Light Limit Fix- Candleglow."
No more crashing! Was able to complete Helderhim with 11 followers in tow (done deliberately that way to stress test).
But now that the island is cleaned out. I wish we could get it as a player home/town/island. It is really beautiful.
Vominheim is very nicely done. I've been having quite a bit of fun exploring the islands, discovering new places, picking flowers and running away from wispmother ambushes. I hope you're proud to have made so many dungeons and so much island single-handedly.
Yes I am. It's my greatest creation for a one-man job. There are a load of things you can discover there. From owning houses, to blackreach style cavern, dozens of dungeons to crawl, to new portal that open to other realms and powerful enemies to defeat. I doubt you'll find such mod like this out there on a large scale. Though it's not perfect but I do hope you'll enjoy it. Thank you

I tried deactivating all the mods and I still have CTD.
Using the crash logger the problem seems to be:
"Textures\Terrain\Vominheim\Vominheim.4.4.12_n.DDS"
