TOP 5 REASONS TO ACCEPT JESUS INTO YOUR LIFE IN SKYRIM:
1. Jesus is one of the most ALIVE npcs on Nexus! You may love Jesus, you may hate him, but you will never be bored in his presence!
Jesus doesn't just repeat some phrases from the Bible, like a robot. No, my goal was to make him as alive and as real, as possible. He talks, like a real person, he reacts to his surroundings, he has lots of unrepetitive sounds and comments.
Let's take, for example, battle taunts. Primitive followers have a small list of repeatable lines that you'll have to hear over and over... Advanced followers, like INIGO, have 1, 3, maybe even 5 taunts for a condition (different enemy types, equipped weapons etc.) Jesus has not just 1, not 2, not 4, but 10, 20, 30 or even more taunts for a condition or a situation. (It is still a work in progress, some of the sections are not done yet, but Jesus is getting there) I think, even after multiple walkthroughs with Jesus, he'll be able to surprise you (And he is not a silent type)
And it's not only about the quantity and non-repetitiveness. These things are just a small part of my efforts to make Jesus as alive as possible, funny, immersive (in his own way)...
2. Advanced, customizable follower functionality.
Jesus has fully standalone following system. In the MCM-menu you can turn on/off most of his features (comments, songs, dialogue branches, spells and effects...), you can hide stuff you don't need (like crafting recipes), you can configure his movement speed, carry capacity, resistance and much more. Also you can save and load your settings with FISS.
You can also use the menu to summon Jesus wherever you want.
3. Jesus has unique powers and abilities.
- After being killed, Jesus rises from the dead. You can configure, how long it takes and a penalty for dying.
- In battle Jesus rises powerful dead to fight for him (but for a short time)
- Jesus throws multiplied fish and bread at your enemies; if they get too close, he burns them with his Holy Fire and uses "Slaying in the Spirit".
- Jesus can banish demons (daedra).
- There is healing power in his flesh and blood, and touching his clothes in battle heals you from your wounds.
- Jesus collects human hearts and turns them into a permanent health bonus (1 heart = 1 HP). Place them in his inventory.
- Jesus turns water into wine! If you give him empty wine bottles, he'll turn the water from his surroundings into wine, and in a few minutes you'll be able to get back your bottles, filled with wine.
4. Jesus is a pretty convenient follower.
- In a fight Jesus doesn't deal too much damage to enemies, letting you finish them off (good for playing at high difficulty)
- Jesus is pretty sneaky (he's had a lot of practice, avoiding persecution in Palestine), he quietly casts spells and avoids most traps.
- While sneaking, Jesus talks telepathically.
- Jesus is leveling alongside with you, but you can also give him human hearts to make him stronger.
- He never flees from the fight. He's got your back!
- In his inventory you can find 'faith' in waterwalking. If you equip it, you'll be able to walk on water! In a forge you can turn this item into other kinds of items that give you the conditional waterwalking abilities (water-running, water-sneaking etc.)
5. I suppose, you don't want to burn in hell, right?
HOW CAN I FIND JESUS?
To find Jesus you don't need to spend years in prayer and fasting. Just go to the Temple of Kynareth in WHITERUN!
UNINSTALL (Important!)
Before uninstalling the mod don't forget to dismiss Jesus and unequip "Faith in Waterwalking" item. If you do not unequip it, you won't be able to get rid of the "faith" later (the enchantment will be permanently applied).
