About this mod
Adds a more clear and realistic look. Pushes back and lightens the surrounding foggy look. Brightens colors and vibrancy. Looks great in the day and night times!

- This is a LIGHT preset. It leaves a very small footprint. The most I saw was a drop of about 2 FPS.
- Effects Used: Cas.fx / Chromaticity.fx / Clarity2.fx / Levels.fx
- I do not know how this will look on an HDR setup. You will have to try and see ;)
- After downloading the Clearly Pax Dei preset and unzipping it, you will want to copy the preset into the C:\Games\Pax Dei\default\game\PaxDei\Binaries\Win64 folder. The beginning of your installation path may differ from mine. I did not install in the default place. The final folder you end up in is the important part.
- Download the latest version of Reshade (I used 6.3.3).
- Double click the Reshade install file to start the installation process. You'll want to select the correct .exe. Make sure it's the same .exe located in Step 1 path.
- If your .exe does not show up in the list you will need to hit the Browse button and navigate to your game's installation path and select the .exe from there.
- Select the setting for DirectX 10/11/12. Click Next.
- Reshade will then ask to select your effects. Click the Browse button on the bottom right.
- Browse to the same folder in the path from Step 1 and select the Clearly Pax Dei.ini file. Then click next and you will see it installing the selected effect items.
- Once that is finished installing you can click Finish.
- Once in game and at your main menu you can hit the HOME key to open the Reshade interface and you should see the Clearly Pax Dei preset already loaded into the selection window.
- Enjoy!!
- Start with Steps 3 & 4.
- After you select DirectX 10/11/12 again, on the next page you will see the option to Uninstall. Select to uninstall and click Next.
- Once that is finished, on your PC navigate back to C:\Games\Pax Dei\default\game\PaxDei\Binaries\Win64 and delete [reshade-shaders folder, Clearly Pax Dei.ini and ReShadePreset.ini].
